I'm folding pre-flop there. I think a medium pocket pair is too weak to continue vs. this villain, even though he's 25/14. On the flop I'm hating any T or higher, and I'm OOP. As played, I can't say I'd play it any differently.

Can we keep this thread about Verneer?

Seems a bit stupid allowing people to just post random hands etc or their own results. Just clutters things up and takes away from the focus that is Verneer's progression.

Where are the mods?

Today (4K hands) could have been much, much better. In fact, if a few hands go my way today, it could have been a ten-bagger. Alas, I'm happy with a win. Anything which moves me in the forward direction of my goal is great:



I also did a sweat with a few friends and it helped solidify some ideas necessary to win at this level, specifically folding. It's your friend

How many hands you tipically play in any given day

I experienced the same thing this morning - I cut back to 1 table for a while so I can focus on my game more. Almost 2 hours this morning (~1k hands) and I was up $1.36 - no big hands, just lots of blind stealing and folding to cbets.

I've averaged around 4K/day.

Verneer do you plan to switch from rush poker or do you feel your volume would be hurt too much? Also, do you think it would be more difficult to, say, get the same amount of volume like 12-15 tabling 25nl? Do you feel you would lose more of an edge there than 4 tabling rush?

No reason for me to switch from Rush - it fits my needs. I'm not concerned about volume for the sake of volume - just trying to run $200 --> $10,000 as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In general, I think my edge is highest where I'm playing right now so I'm going to stick with it.

Broke out of my morning slump with a sweet + 5 BI session.



Also, my $450 EOTY Iron Man bonus just got released so I am within striking distance of $2,000.

Jeez you're a beast.

Seems a bit cheeky to include the Iron Man Bonus in your bankroll and thus using it to aid reaching your goal (a fairly significant $450 too).
Obviously in the long run if you can reach $9550, you could obviously reach $10k, but most people who start off with ~$200 don't have these sort of bankroll boosts coming their way!
