I think I love poker so much cause I play about 50 - 100 hands a day. I kinda study it too much though... I would go nuts if I was playing 2 - 10k hands a day like most of you do.
this...150-300 hands in my case

also...play live.

- Applied to a new job at the same company I've been working for. I have my first interview this Monday (2 days away). If I get this I'll be off of 12 hour shifts, salaried, and it'd be about a 50% pay increase (gamechanger)

- Got a book to study for the FE exam (fundamentals of engineering)

- Will take exam next week to get a quality certification from ASQ

- Maxed on my Runescape account

- Started playing a game called "RUST"

- Stopped drinking so much

- Trying to eat healthier
Congrats on the life changes! Just be careful when they say salaried. No more 12 hour days, but putting in extra time will be expected.

I can't blame you for getting away from poker. Maybe when you have more free time, it'll be less stressful to play. If you ever want some sweats, you know where to find me. GLGL!!

we're up in running folks.
12-31-2016 , 03:07 AM
Made about 1.5 bi. At one point was up around 6bi, but had a succession of lost flips/bad plays and medium sized pots. Ran very well at the beginning but then poorly/card dead at end. Not complaining though.

I also unfortunately did not get the promotion.

Won another $350 or so. Played around 17 hours of poker today. Going to take a nap and get back at it.
01-01-2017 , 08:07 AM
Lost 3-4 buyin today unfortunately. Was only about $150 away from being up $2k for the weekend at one point. No run good today. Games were very good in the evening, but dried up. Played pretty well for the most part, but made a couple bluffs that weren't +EV I think.

Happy new year all.

Played a bunch more again. Made like 400-500 and then jumped into 1/2 and 2/4 and lost a couple pots and ended up break even unfortunately.

1hr grind of two 100nlz tables after work.
