It is ignition. Wouldn’t surprise me. Do you even correctly fold a boat if you don’t post it on the internet? What’s the fb group?

I don't always have it when I xr a river overbet. Also can't confirm or deny if I was tilting this hand. Not a huge fan in hindsight.

Very weird. On the flop he probably said to himself I'm gonna outplay this guy this hand, which is exactly what he did.

Thanks. Yeah it runs at peak times and usually shorter than 6 handed. Curious what you're playing these days. Still on the asian apps?

Study hours- 13

Been thinking about and planning this for a while and I think the time is now. I plan on quiting my job and playing poker full time, probably sometime this month. It's a tough decision but at the same time it's not. I feel like I need to give it a shot. Once I actually do it I'll update the yearly/monthly volume goals.

Do you think you’ll be able to significantly increase volume by going pro, or are you just that sick of the life grind? (Other other reasons?)

Your study hours, is that mostly dedicated to actual training vids or more so just your actual hand histories / pio?

As bgp said, very impressive results, and good luck.

Makes sense. I've been thinking about getting into apps but wonder if it's worth the downsides.

As bgp said, very impressive results, and good luck.

The main reason is because the pull I feel to play poker full time is very strong. I think I'll be able to get 80k hands/month minimum if you consider that a significant increase but my decision isn't just based on a pure $ perspective. I remember the long back and forth conversion you had in brokenstar's thread a while back and I agree with a lot of the points you made. I wouldn't argue against keeping poker part time as the highest long term $EV move.

My fears about doing it are a mile long but the regret of not giving it a shot when I know in my gut it's what I really want to do is even greater. Like you said, the resume gap is a big thing I worry about if I want to re-enter the work force. I plan on doing some coaching down the road so if I need to I can play it off more like I had a coaching business rather than "full time degenerate gambler". I worry about feeling isolated grinding away by myself during the day. I plan on renting a desk in a co working space so i'll be forced to get out of the house and into an environment where people are being productive. The list goes on and on.

I do watch a lot of vids but yeah I consider that more passive and don't count it towards actual study hours. Ty for the good luck

Heh, dont worry I'm not going to go on my usual rants.

I know from chat you have a good head on your shoulders and unlike most (all?) have a realistic perspective of the life grind side of things.

And yea, when I went pro I immediately created an S-corp so that I could have that on my resume.

If you ever do decide on coaching down the road put me at the top of your list.

Good luck! Not a move I would recommend to people with the current state of online poker but I'm sure you've thought it through. Long as you have a back up plan and have thought through all the variables nothing wrong with chasing what you think will make you happiest. Life is too short to be miserable.

Was hoping for a grizzled vet to chime in. Didn't I just read recently you said something about going full time as the best decision you ever made? The life is too short thing is basically what has been repeating in my head for months. Ty
