A fine start to the year sir. I meant to ask, do you know of any poker resources in French we can recommend to fellow Canadian TRUSTtheDRAWCESS? He's English speaking trying to learn French for his job and trying to find poker related stuff to practice with. Discords, youtubes, coaches etc. Anything it seems would be of use

Yeah well I did not post all of my results. But you are correct I have still a lot of work before I'm at the level of a mid stakes crusher.

But I did a lot of work outside the table and decided to start a new database. Considering I'm a different player nowadays. I have changed a lot of stuff about my approach. I don't play when not super focus and I don't play many tables at once.



I will Keep it up. Still mixing where I play, I guess the run good will come to an end at some point.

Since my hardcore study, seems like I have overcome my difficulty and fear of 50NL. I will do an other time off playing mid month with a high level class.
I know, I know... My volume is quite low. But playing is taking way more energy out of my body.

What about life Skull?
- My health is improving playing basketball 2 times a week. (Looking to improve that)
- Still smoking but not as hard as I was.
- Found a new girl that really makes me happy on all fronts.

Not a month as passed since my last post. So who knows I might f*ck it all up. Stay tuned to find out!

Another month is ending, Feel like things are changing for the best. Feel excited to finally see the results of my past year sacrifices. Turns out I might have what it takes to (at least) aspire to be a ''mid-stakes crusher''.

Time will tell, but I'm quite done with the micros... I think.

Haha Kid I knew you would come at me about that! I've been doing good. Took some vacation this summer with a new girl I'm seeing. And as you mentioned I did hit the badbeat jackpot on GG at the 100NL stakes. Was a nice payday, no doubt.

Since then, I've quit playing GG, I'm back on stars kinda playing lower but with way higher winrate. It suits me well. My mental game stays stronger that way.

I feel so much happier than when I started that blog. Where being a pro was just a distant dream. Now I study as part of my day to day, train my body, my mind. New girl, running good. The good stuff!

Should I keep posting my stars stuff? Mb In the future, I'll make a new chapter to the story.

Left the game for a while. But everytime you try to quit. You end up back in there. Doing the stuffs with the things. So this is my results, december and start off this month. Did I improve between my last post? I guess. Should put more work of table. Like everybody I guess. My only goal is to get to 10K in profit as fast as possible. Keeping in mind that, as would say uncle Ben: with great power comes great responsibility. Have a good year playing boys.

What is up 2+2 I've been slowly playing higher stakes, with some decent success. I'm slowly getting towards my objective of 10K usd in profit. I've always feared the 100NL pool. But the more I play in there the more I realize these guys are not THAT good. As long As you can exploit for more folds.



Probably get a Big down swing at some point this month.

I am confused by your sporadic stake style. You seem to always be playing several at once? Or starting lower, building, then taking quote unquote shots?

Also, are you 3betting more as you move up or is that an artifact? I see your VPIP creeping up as well, which means you're calling more?

Wp though, nothing wrong with enjoying the moment. Keep the study up!

Took some time off. Was making sure i could rise up on a new site. As for the moment i do mix it up. Taking some shots higher when feeling it. And warming up lower.

As for the stats. Just an effect of higher stakes playing more freq less than 6 players. Because i tend to stick with the same approach preflop. With some small deviation (when confident about the play style of V)

I've managed to reach the 10K mark in profit, in 3 months!
Would be incredible to keep the paste for the rest of the year. It starts to feel like serious money now.

Like I mentioned a thousand time before, I've been doing some study and trying to simplify the game. Since a lot of my action is 3 handed short pool zoom. I divided the game in 10 scenarios that are very frequent on that format.

1. BB vs SS (SRP) Blind on blind battle. Not very well played by population.
2. SB vs BB (SRP)

3. BUT vs BB (SRP) How to defend. How to attack.
4. BB vs BUT (SRP)

5. BB vs BUT (3BP) 3BP OOP, something I've studied for ages, still hard to master.
6. SB vs BUT (3BP)

7. BUT vs BB (3BP)
8. BUT vs SB (3BP)

and blind vs blind 3BP

I think that is a big part of the game in terms of mechanics. So i will drill those 10 spots. to get to know my gto wizard accuracy. Then Explore and find some overall simplification or heuristic. And drill them again, having those new mental guidelines.

With some coaching material with each situation. I guess my game will improve. Mb not. who the f. knows...

Yes I think this is probably the main secret to getting really good. Break down all the most relevant minigames to your playstyle and then drill the **** out of them until you = beast.

Similar reasons I've been dipping my toes in learning heads-up lately so I can start more tables vs fish.

Been Bum hunting some 200NL reg tables. Bit easier than playing 100NL zoom around the clock that's for sure. I understand why people always give the advice of moving up and table select hard. Having a -20bb/100 on your right with lower rake paid, is the way to go. But I still enjoy the reg battles of zoom. All my winrates are trash, that's the down side. SO I might take a week or two off only to train and study. Call it the hyperbollic time chamber.

Yeah well I've used all type of ranges, the one they give out for free, or even the GTO wizard one. They are not THAT good imo. Use them as a baseline. BUT YOU MUST DEVIATE. U saw the guy flatt BUT vs MP w/ JJ? please for the love of poker: Dont flat AQo at freq vs. his 4B. Well skull all your post-flop construction will suffer since you dont have the same building blocks! I know I know, we are all playing the guessing game right? With some layers of ego and study over it. If your game is static your doing something wrong. But that is only an opinion.

So my life is very repetitive these days, but I'm moving to a new place this summer, need to buy all the furniture and stuff. A part of that run will pay for it. Thank you god that I'm not a spender. Money saved is money earned as we say.

Pretty good physical shape... lost the basketball tourney in semi-final (just like last year).

BUT, I started climbing and it's very fun. I started at level V2-V3, And around a year later, now I can do some V6. But the next level is very hard to get too. Might take me a year or more.

The next couple of months will be some of the most important of the poker Journey as a whole.

CAN I BEAT 200NL ?
WILL I END UP IN THE DUST ?

Hey 2+2 Skull again. Turns out I am now up 35K on the year. Not to bad. I might start posting my weekly results. My objective was to make 50K for the year. Is it still achievable?

On the life front I moved to a new place with my new girl and had to pay for most of the furniture and things. So my life bankroll took a massive hit. But I will grind it back with low stakes. (no more micros ever again for me.

Only playing the best tables and if there is no action I just go study. The goal is to get the best hourly.
