Hey man! Thankyou for the positive comments. The amount of hours depends from day to day. I put the most volume during the weekend.

In study and playing and prep and all. I spend more than 50hours per week in poker. Probably more...

Hey what's up 2+2 !

Good month once again.

- Even took some shots at 100NL. Ran quite bad there running almost 1K under EV. But overall I think I'm one of the top tier player at 50NL. Fun stuff.

- I'm getting 35% rakeback now. Usefull stuff.

- I'm in a basketball small league now. (Need to gain some strength before the games starts (end of the month)) So I'm planning myself a intense body training. Healthy stuff.

I will update if I get murdered or I'm in comfortable position to take an other shot at 100NL. Until then GOOD LUCK...

P.S.
Still looking for some people to do hand reviews with. Hit me up.

This is an extremely sucessful challenge. Congrats SK. I should emulate this approach I think

What was your bankroll strategy again? If I recall you were super cautious at lower stakes then less risk adverse as you grew confidence and climbed, is that right?

this fits into my theory!

@Ceres. Thank you deeply Ceres. My bankroll strat was very conservative. Mostly taking shot during the weekend and always finding the top regulars at each stakes. Now I'm more aggro with a 50-60 bi range. more 25-30 with stop loss for tilt purpose when playing 100.

@ChaZz_JY I can't tell my exact winrate as I'm not uploading my hands into a tracking software. But you motivated me to do it this month. We shall see!

I'm back after some rough time playing 100NL. I feel that it's still a challenge for me there.. And now mass tabling is out of the question. Because the quality of the play, and because of the stress factor. So I need to reorganize my mind to be able to focus at the slow paste that is 4-6 tabling Reg tables.

I lost Around 350 yesterday, I don't feel toooo miserable. I uploaded all the hands played from last month. to see what my winrate after rake looks like at the different stakes. The traking from GG isn't as good as the one from PS. Buit gives a good idea.

The look of it.

Not too bad. But I have a lot of work to do still to be one of the best reg at 50NL. Not so long ago 50NL was scary to me. And now I'm talking of increasing my winrate.

I got crushed last night. But my revenge will hit harder.

Hey 2+2!
Quick half of the month update.
Im break even on GG and paid 1.5K in rake this month... The juice is so high... I think I'm one of the best player mb top 5 at 50NL regs table. That means almost everybody is loosing to the rake. The advantages for the regs are getting smaller and smaller.

So I will be putting more volume on stars. Can make a lot more % back on there. And I have crazy winrates on there so far.

On the basketball front... after 1 year of work. I can finally dunk. Not the sharpest move yet. But with some practice I think I can perfect it.

So this is it. My first loosing half of the month. Well break even.
Let's hope for some PS run good.
Peace.
SK.

Solid stuff.

Was so close I almost took a job. Had 2 break even/Struggling low gain months. Felt stupid, so went back to studying and improving... Now I'm back.
Quite a learning experience feel like a way better player. Feel confident again to be sharing my story.

Heyhey as always, TY guys! What about some hand histories? Been a while since I posted those... Been studying a lot recently. Basically my last way of playing the game was all Leader board based (wrong long term view) and now I'm trying to be more smart. I had no time to improve. Now I review my play with Wizard (not the best of tools, but fast to use.), I took a sub to RunitOnce, to watch Clanty's video. WHAT THE HELL... I'm that bad? Really??? Let's take a look shall we?

Some fresh stuff I didn't watch back.

GG Poker - $0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: $51.36
CO: $27.60
BTN: $78.08
SB: $56.03
Hero (BB): $61.64
UTG: $21.66

SB posts SB $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has K A

UTG calls $0.50, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $6.00, fold, SB calls $4.50

Flop: ($12.50, 2 players) 2 5 5
SB checks, Hero bets $4.13, SB raises to $10.99, Hero calls $6.86

Turn: ($34.48, 2 players) 7
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($34.48, 2 players) A
SB checks, Hero bets $44.65 and is all-in, SB calls $39.04 and is all-in

Spoiler:
Hero shows K A (Two Pair, Aces and Fives)
(Pre 48%, Flop 29%, Turn 0%)
SB shows 7 7 (Full House, Sevens full of Fives)
(Pre 53%, Flop 71%, Turn 100%)
SB wins $108.06

Flop`: I should start using several sizing in this spot, AK is probably X a lot there. But I'm weak at knowing feq. half the time? But I'm quite unsure. Calling the raise might look counter-intuitive to some folks, I'm quite sure solver would call there. But is it that strong of a play considering at my stakes there isn't a lot of raising in 3B pot? (should I be the one learning how to do it?)

I felt stupid when got snap, But I think it still a solid play. As you can see the weaker player can come up with some nice plays.

An other one for luck? The rare X flop w/AA

GG Poker - $0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: $65.97
UTG: $32.82
MP: $43.90

BTN: $53.70
SB: $54.98

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has A A

fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.25, BTN raises to $3.72, fold, fold, Hero raises to $9.69, BTN calls $5.97

Flop: ($20.13, 2 players) 3 6 7
Hero checks, BTN bets $10.27, Hero calls $10.27

Turn: ($40.67, 2 players) K
Hero checks, BTN bets $33.74 and is all-in, Hero calls $33.74

River: ($108.15, 2 players) 2

Players agreed to run it twice.

River #2: ($108.15, 2 players) Q

Spoiler:
BTN shows T K (One Pair, Kings)
Board #1 (Pre 17%, Flop 7%, Turn 11%)
(One Pair, Kings)
Board #2 (Pre 18%, Flop 8%, Turn 12%)

Hero shows A A (One Pair, Aces)
Board #1 (Pre 83%, Flop 93%, Turn 89%)
(One Pair, Aces)
Board #2 (Pre 82%, Flop 92%, Turn 88%)

Hero wins $51.83
Hero wins $51.82

Looked at that one and was surprised to realize that Aces goes 50/50 on the flop, was not expecting that high, as you lower the PP the more bets, (more defending needed) was more expecting a 25% X. I have so much to learn...

Until then GLGL!

I need to add x-ing in 4bet pots. We can still GIAI if flop goes x/x, and villain spews draws often if they sense weakness.

Interesting, a GTO wiz solve jams almost its entire flop x/c range on turn here. I think you played it well keeping in his bluffs

I have the wizz solve here, if anybody out there is interested, A more frequent situation in 4B, because it's COvsBUT. Since those range are the looser, (not being a blind battle).

Personally, I don't call that frequent with lower PP, I give a Freq to also JJ. but OVR, seems fine. Very interesting was those AK combo, being OOP. Not that much betting...

Doing more digging. I've come to the conclusion that I really struggle finding the right frequency of betting OOP in 3B pots. I always thought it was one of my strength but actually... My preflop strat in itself might be better constructed. But If I don't apply the right split on flop, it's still (almost?) a waste...

Better knowing where to work.

4bet pots OOP?

Think we still depol A LOT (or more than i thought), with big advantages on most unconnected boards but slowing down on some connected or ultra low flops like this where we have a significant set disadvantage, which leaves our OP's ****ed. I was trying to find the sweet spot but it mostly just became progressively mixed like this the trickier the board was. At least with what I ran anyway. Good narrow spot to study + visualise o_o

Hey what is up 2+2, spent most of my time studying since the start of the year.

But managed to play some 50NL.

Solid start. Should I post the interesting hands? Or the funny one? (for motivational purposes)

This is it? Not even 2k after a year grinding online? You are basically a break even player. You might as well go to mtts. If you can't beat 25nl for 5bb/100 no point playing. You will get destroyed. Playing 100nl with a 1bb/100 win rate at 25nl is comical. But prove me wrong. If you are having a rough time with 25nl go to mtts. Not trying to shoot you down. I am just being honest with you unless you are doing this as a hobby then thats cool. You are wasting time if you think you are going to be a mid stakes crusher.

Can you guys feel the heat? Is it the ''Back on two2two'' upswing?

Probably not, I'm back on the study grind. Never really studied except once in a blue moon and not with the focus and devotion I put in right now.
Also, I'm only playing MAX (if position and all) 6tables. I'm tanking decision. A new SkullKid in the making??

Let's hope the sun-running continues.

I'm having a lot of fun studying. The game feels new to me... A lot of buttons were clicked.

And a lot more will be.
