switching to a standing desk has almost completely eliminated my lower back pain and helped my wrist quite a bit as well. my feet were sore for about a week but it's kinda nice to finish a grind and feel physically tired and not just mentally tired

I was going to mention that your recent breakup could be a significant psychosomatic factor in your back pain, but then I saw that Benabadbeat beat me to it. I think there’s almost certainly some truth in that.
Also a big +1 to the standing desk. It can only help for sure.

Anyone have an issue with neck pain and possible solutions? It started a few months ago and its not going away. Got a new chair and nothing has changed. Gets worse if I'm playing a long session. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

How many of the lowerbackpain crew are lifting weights 4+ times a week?

Imo the absolute best solution to your lower back pain is to go to the gym, deadlift 2x your bodyweight every other day with horrible form, and then at least this way you can appreciate a whole nother kind of lower back pain!

If anyone is reading this and living in philippines and you need a prescription. https://www.aide-app.com/, this app is good. 500p online consultation and they can give prescription. Didnt know it existed. Im back to normal now. Was taking painkillers&muscle relaxants and it helped a bunch. Weird how things can change in 9 days, From being fine, to not being able to move, to now being totally fine again. I got one of those massage gun things and was going over my hip/glute area alot, jeez it felt like there was a huge tear somehow. Im just doing glute and hip work everyday. With sciatica stretches. Hope it doesn't happen again as it was the most painful experience in my life. Such a strange one.

re standing desk. I went to buy one when moving into apartment, but due to covid, all the shops were closed. So ended up buying this desk instead. i should buy one though

Ignition and bros games are good. Emulators been "banned" so makes tables great now. quite often able to get 3-4 quality 400nl tables at morning philippines times. Afternoon games die a bit. Stars games are just non-existent though. They need to do something as im often playing an hour before i get one table of 500nl. WPN i dropped, dont like software and that it isnt KOTH, and because i was losing.

PB: 3.8k$+ : No hud although i get to play on laptop so i also cant include in hands below.
WPN: 1.9k$- : cant include it in hands below due to some reason hands say im winning when im not. records it wrong in hem2. maybe bomb pots?
Stars and ignition below:

i keep going to open 1k tables, but keep pusying out. Seems like a lot of same regs as 500 though.

So its been 1 year worth of volume since i opened this thread. Time flies. so here are the results. Unfortunately i formatted laptop thinking i kept results but i lost some ignition and some PB so will be some estimates:

PokerStars

Definitely happy with this. 140k hands are 3-5 handed where im punting multiple bb's in my winrate due to battling. I dont think i got an edge on any lineup, especially with rake. Obviously not all of that 140k is battling but a good chunk of it will be.

in bbs

$

stake breakdown

PokerBros

Lost database but i did post this graph before i formatted. It was nearly all 100nl but with some 200nl. Was about 11k$ iirc. Rake is included but Rb is not. Since this graph i think i won around 6.5k$ at 200-400

Ignition

Start of year i played some 100/200. I could go back through this thread but i cba. Was around 40k hands at 9bb i think. Won around 4.5k$. Started playing again this month with results below

RedDragon: IN RDC CHIPS. NOT $ AMOUNT

Results are in RDC chips. Have to divide by 16.5 to get to CNY. then divide by 6.8 to get to $. There also isnt any rake which is 5% of winning sessions. Think its a few bb rake. Less than traditional sites. Also divide winrate by 2 due to straddles. Winrate should be over 10 though and winning around 4k$ iirc.

WPN

Down 1.9k$ (5bi) in 2k hands.

TOTAL: Approx 80k$-90k$

Im super happy with this. I Would have been happy with like 30k$ winnings given where i started. This time last year i was utterly broke. Literally 0$ to my name and thinking about going into the real world and get a 9-5. This was obviously one of the lowest points in my life. I was speaking to my friend in philippines about it and she offered me 2.5k$ as a gift which i didn't need to pay back (shes making many many K$'s from a couple of sugar daddies, and of course i paid it back). I eventually accepted and started at 75nl/100nl. I now have a healthy roll, and will likely be shot taking 1knl seriously soon, if not definitely during December games. Hate to say it given the situation but COVID was a blessing for me. Theres been some long stretches of time where i would actually class myself as happy which hasnt happened in years tbh.

Goals for the next 12 months would be:

- win at least 100k$. 150k$ is strong goal to aim for. 200k$ is a pipedream.
- 500k hands total. Nearly all 500nl+
- 5bb+ winrate

Peace

Amazing results, judging by the last paragraph you made a huge progress and should be very proud of yourself. GL in the next 12months, but Im not sure setting monetary/winrate goals is the best idea.

btw has your sn been outed?

thx. yeh i know theyre not good. just a random thought what i would like to happen. I wont hold myself over it too much. I would be happy making 30k$ also.

not outed, but i think a lot of people who post in this thread know my SN, so they can tell you in private. & isnt hard to figure out if we sit on same table
