I want to move up from 100NL HU to 1000NL HU in 6 months.

Realistically I think I am at 1000NL HU level already skill wise. But I have some psychological problem and don't know how to deal with it....

Most of you probably gonna laugh but whenever i lose 3-4 buy ins I cannot deal with it emotionally and my head starts hurting and it's very hard for me to find a motivation to keep playing.

At the moment I am playing 100NL HU anyone who comes to my table. Never refuse the action and don't care who it is unless I am already playing 2 tables.

2 tables are my standard. I rarely play 2+

Here is the results of my 100NL HU and a little bit of 200NL HU for this month:

90% 100NLHU and 10% of 200NL HU



I will consider that I made it if in 6 months I will be playing 1000NL HU and already made 30+ buy ins.

What is your procedure for finding leaks?

I review my sessions every day and write all improvements i can find in the txt file

Big improvements are the results of the hundreds of the small ones

Do you have a general idea on what the differences are between the 2 limits?

Yes fish to ok player ratio at 100NL and 200NL is probably 2x1 and also at 100NL you can get 3x more action then on 200NL

Not to mention that 40% guys at 100NL come with less then full stack but at 200NL this number willl be probably about <25%

at 200NL ok regs come to the table and play you but at 100NL regs very rarely come.

Also at 100NL they rarely 3bet optimally - either they 3bet something like 8-10% of complete maniacs who 3bet 30%+

You 2 table and get in 53k hands/month at HU?!

Whats hard about it?

1h 2 tables = 400 hands.

I work on average 25+ days. 8+ hours but sometimes when running bad can play only 1-2 hours per day.

Im not gonna reveal my SN to the public yet. I reveal it only to my students.

I do play 200NL and 400NL but I don't consider it my main level.

At the moment my lowest limit is 100NL and thats where I play the most.

Going up you will get 5x less action then on 100NL thats why I made this challenge. To learn how to beat anybody all the way to 1000NL HU

If the level at 200NL HU will be so weak I probably gonna play 1000NL faster

Ok ill explain this hand.

Opp checks back so his hands probably 44 A high 3x - i would expect him to bet 5x

On turn i bet he calls.. his range here still 44 4x for gutshot 6x for gutshot FD 7x

river is 2 now if he has weak 7x hes not probably gonna value bet.

also he bets river strong - i doubt 7x would bet that much if he would want to go for a think value

he will not bet 44 but he might bet all missed FD 4x 6x so in this spot his range

consists of the folowing. 7x 10% Kx 10% Bluffs 80% = easy call with 4th pair

Why haven't you moved up?? You will make more money playing higher. Also, 50k+ hands a month 2 tabling is insane, you must put in a lot of hours??

You probably had something similar in your life as well when you were so mad the head starts pulsating... I realize its only 4-5 buy ins and its natural to lose sometimes 4-5 buy ins but I dont know how to deal with it especially if I lose 4-5 buy ins in a row on suckouts

Once i find a solution how to deal with it - i will be playing higher.

1 hour x 2 tables HU = 400 hands.

If you play 5 hours per day x 25 days =50k hands

Also most of the time i play in the morning 2-3 hours - rest

Afternoon 2 hours untill like 4-5pm

And then in the evening -9-12 pm sometimes up to 1 am

And i rarely get tired.

Good luck with your quest! Post more hands at 100nl of bigger bluffs and big hands and im sure you will get alot more interest.

Dude I'm pritty sure FTP/Stars has stoplosses, ie. you can set so that if you lose for example 5 buy-ins you're automaticlly banned from playing more in a certain amount of time (that you choose beforehand). It's part of their whole "We take care of our customers" yada yada.
