Goal: Start with $60. Play 4NL and move in limits till I can play 25NL($500+) and do this within 4 months (end of year).

History: Played on Stars and Tilt, did very well at 25NL on Stars but stopped playing over a year ago or maybe longer... Wife just didn't like the idea of playing poker especially since we didn't have as much money back then. Now I have FT job and will be playing PT at night.

I will be playing on Carbon Poker due to where my location is. Like the above statement I will be starting at 4NL. I play usually 8 tables at a time on 6max. Will do my best on constantly updating graph and posting interesting hands. The main reason I'm doing this is so I will post hands that may have made me think or maybe get better lines on.

Appreciate it. 8 tabling 6max, volume just depends more on time. Will be able to put at least and hour a day, and some days/weekends 2-3 hrs.

First time posting graph so hope it loads. But had some rough hands at first, then truthfully I tilted. I usually don't tilt either, but I think the idea that I was going to start posting and then running bad just blew my gasket. I then took a five minute break and made it all back.
Starting balance was $60.18, ending $63.14 This session and the couple before I started this thread I've noticed I've been getting absolutely slaughtered with AK. It's actually my most losing hand by a long shot, so I've decided to start calling a little bit more with AK b/c of the very high variance I've been having. Anyways first day done, should have done better but we're in the green. I think there is a 35% rakeback, but i'll be posting balances/graphs.

This is kinda how it went...

http://wt.ag/OG7mlP
AK has been killing me, things havent changed

http://wt.ag/OG7wtE
The guy must have been bored, he was shoving every hand... helped get some money back

http://wt.ag/OG7IZM
Don't even know what to say lol

So down today, sucks but I don't feel I played bad... but going to look at somethings... gotta go in the other direction

Felt like I played a little worse at times, all my big hands went my way... Did get an ugly suck out AKvsAA so it makes up for last night lol.

Not too many interesting hands... I tried to use Fold Equity a few times but didn't work...

http://weaktight.com/4972781
Got 3bet had QQ flop came 369sss and I had the Qs ... jammed instaed of letting person bet and he had KK and one Ks which flush hit too. If I let him bet he'll probably have enough equity to call and the way I played I can get alot of hands to fold while still have a Q high FD.

http://wt.ag/RBXM6h
Been playing AK/AQ a bit more call than raise. Keeping me out of bigger pots and I'm able to extract money from weaker hands like this one. A little change I've made for now at least.

http://wt.ag/RBXWup
This hand messed me up, villan didn't have a high 3bet%, but I think this was a spewy - one of the hands that makes me feel I didn't play completely great tonight.

Up 2.5 bi's and put in just over 1k hands... So good night, be back tomorrow night

end of seesion $69.52

deposit at 25nl straight away (if you can) you're wasting your time with anything under 25 anyway

I wanna beat all levels... I don't wanna deposit too much money just b/c of poker is ... never know when the next site gets shut down. I wanna try and build up from very little, never really played alot of 4nl so it's different but Carbon is alot different then Stars was. I can't believe how much I get 3bet at 4NL here.

Well I'll be honest I thought I was up until I looked at the end. I knew I had one bad hand TT vs KK, but seriously thought I was up the whole time. Once I looked and saw I was down I just stopped b/c I don't think I was in the right state of mind at that point. Played like 18 mins two nights ago made 2 bucks, lost 3 or so today... last check br was just above 70. Maybe post some hands in a bit, but I'm still flabbergasted.

Two big drops in graph... one was TT < KK, which happens... this is the other hand...

http://wt.ag/Nhf347

I don't see how I can fold this... being that I hit my flush I didn't expect to see another flush, of course that's why I lost the hand lol

So I ran very well... I won a AQ > KK early and pretty much set the day ... had a couple of interesting hands i'll post.

http://wt.ag/NhfbRl
Makes you think playing cards is easy lol

http://wt.ag/NhfcVn
The way I played this hand is how I play alot of big over pairs in 3bet pots... If I were behind I was going to get stacked anyhow but if pot control/play deceptive I may can get villan to spew.

http://wt.ag/Nhfmfh
Again... pot control turn and let the villan spew, and again if I'm beat I'm getting stacked anyhow - I guess I could call here b/c the only thing calling my shove is a true hero call or a J.

http://wt.ag/NhftYh
Villan was the one I caught spewing earlier, not sure which hand came first... but do you think villan calls another bet on turn? Maybe, but got some value on river.

I actually added a few more tables, played an hour got in like 900 hands for 3 bi's. Obv I ran good which helps but I also played well imo. Started with 71.xx and ended with 84.xx.

Had a few spots with fishy players that just didn't pan out right. Think I need to work on my aggression or barrelling but not sure what stats too look at. I know alot is villan dependent, but I catch myself check/folding alot or bet flop/check fold turn oop.

A little down, put in about 1k hands will be at it again tonight.

So I did something different tonight, took a small shot at 10NL. Played about 45 mins and was up $20. What I did since bankroll is so small is bought in at 7.5 and played 8 tables. I told myself if I got stacked twice I would leave no matter what. I had one hand that I screwed up and could have saved myself 2 bucks in the end lol. Think there were a couple hands, that one I spoke of and a couple AI shoves that helped me out. I couldn't watch one b/c I stacked the guy earlier and again same sequence of I raise, someone calls and he squeezes and then I jam... problem this time is I was 140bb's deep and he had more, also I had JJ - first time had KK. Here are a few hands...

This guy is a reg and I've played a ton of hands with him before, good reg. I sometimes take a more passive line post flop if I'm in IP and they are betting, well you'll see it cost me. Looking back at the hand, a raise on the flop might fold him out, but the turn he would probably stick around for the river in which the perfect card hits to stack me. I laugh b/c I had to throw in the last 2.5 or so when I could have just called and saved that lil money.
http://wt.ag/PV9ypa

So the next to hands I'll put in sequence b/c same villan same scenario...

http://wt.ag/PV9OEG

Winning flips sure does help :-)
http://wt.ag/PV9Vjs

Those were the big three... didn't post graph b/c I'll play another session in an hour or so... will just put graphs together.

Graph is from both sessions... read above about first session.

Down 4 bucks on 2nd short session. One hand dropped me, I"ll show the two big hands...

http://wt.ag/TAzI5U
As you can see I learned my lesson for early session - problem was villan was uber aggressive, so I really didn't help myself out much with the raise because he just re raised me back. Like I said this guy was uber aggressive, so I'm fine with the way I played, I like to MR in position, puts a lot of pressure on the villans

http://wt.ag/TAA3W9
This hand just hurts to re watch lol. Flop a str8 with a flush draw. I belive i read almost 70% equity... but you gotta lost some in poker :-(

http://wt.ag/TAAhwy
No real reads on villan, but a reg. Just didn't seem right, but I definately took a note on him after the hand.

So overall put in nearly 1000 hands and was up like 16, so a good night. Will continue at 10nl for now unless something goes wrong... If I get down to 80 I'll probably drop back down to 4NL.

That is my overall graph so far, you'll see my EV line going down because I think last night had some bad spots... tonight I think everything was standard.

Well I played a short session of 10NL and was up 2 bucks, then mass tabled 4nl and down 3 bi lol... down 10 on the night... played a little so far tonight, thought I played pretty well... up just .84, my problem is how to deal with 3bets. The one thing I've stopped is stacking off with AK, haven't done in that in awhile and guess what haven't lost any stacks that way lol. Plan on playing more a little later on.

2nd session graph, felt I played better - hit some really big hands to stack folks. Hit 4 of a kind twice while other person had the highest card Full House. My hands held up nicely tonight, only one spot where I was behind short stacker had QQ > AQ, but really stayed out of the big pots unless I had something big. I'll try and find a hand later, but it was a weird hand that I felt almost like a hero call, but I"m tired and need sleep.

A short one hour session, was quite boring for awhile. couldn't get any action on big hands and imo was calling a few too many 3bets. As you see one big hand helped out, another reg involved. He tries to iso a fish and I 3bet w/QQ, he calls. flop 246r and I cbet and he jams w/TT and my queens for a nice pot. Took a quick glance at cashier and right now sitting at $114.xx - till next time, I'm heading to bed.

Well you want to talk about running bad... I had stopped at that bottom of down almost $40 dollars at 10nl and said **** it. Same exact time two different tables AIPF AA < JJ - how sick is that. I had AA cracked earlier by a fish w/J9 ... I tilted off one buy in, AJ < QQ - at least my tilt has a chance lol. I stopped immediately after that wrote how I ****ing hate this **** but didn't post... thought I did but went back on carbon 4 tabled 25nl with only a 15 dollar buy in and made alot of it back. Carbon felt bad, a little tiltish with one hand and I had already hit sit out my A8 > JJ river a third 8, this was a hand before there was some raising and re raising where villan folded. Going to sleep now, a little frustrated but relieved to get money back.
