But i had five times starting stack in the 8 milly, when i 3bet aces in position with 80 of my 96bb at risk...
Flop is AK4 with flushdraw, and i bet 33% and get called...
Turn is Q, also bringing backdoor flushdraw, and i bet 55% pot, he tanks... And shoves...
Ofc he had JTs for naked gutter with backdoor flushdraw and board doesnt pair... Busto soon after.

Though, the 109$ PLO KOmania was full of nlhe-fishes who repotted QQ47r playing deep, for example.

Shipped that one for 872$, plus 1420$ in bounties


Then i furiously tried to get into the sunday 8 million again, but when i won a satellite, i only got tournament dollars hahaha...

Ending the day with two more deep runs in s8m satellites to win more t dollars...

Well played! I should try all this satellites for big events, they seem very profitable.

They are super soft on Pokerstars. Even the normal sunday million satellites are very soft, because people either fold to less than 1bb despite not even being close to a ticket, or spazz early... But the funniest ones are those who call off all ins for stacks close to bubble with small pairs, despite having a stack that surely would get them into the money.

I lost 99$ soberly grinding sunday 8 million satellites for about 2.5 hours, then i intentionally spazzed 24$ at 2$ 6+ holdem tables quickly, for reasons that'd sound silly, and went out to get drunk and high - legal here since this month - with a good friend, and played some playstation stuff...

After i got back, i quickly lost about a hundo again, playing like i owe the other players something...

Very spensive "day off", but tomorrow, there'll neither be anymore nlhe tournaments, nor anymore alcohol in my flat, until SCOOP has ended.


Managed to lose more than 3kg last month, and got back to be able to do 20 clean push ups, with nose on ground.
Will be talking walks in the forest a lot more, now that its warmer here, too, cause thats what old men do...

Last 530$ PLO super tuesday had $2k overlay, with only 11 players, and 3 getting paid, and i will fire my three 2-steps satellites as usual tomorrow, because those satellites always have overlays, too.

Also feel like tragically busting second in 22$ horse...


If i dont drop down below 5.5k, i might become a bit lazy, skipping some early day-savers...

Only got into 22$ NLO8 turbo KOmania and 55$ PLO KOmania, and busted both.

Again made twenty smth place in 11$ PLO KOmania after being top3 in chips, which happens every second day, it feels like. Collected 40$ bounties.

Chopped 5.50$ 6+ holdem 4way for 25$ as slight chipleader, cause i was single tabling and wanted a break.

Only 3.30$ to 33$ PLO8 turbo KOmania left, and likely skip the rest.

Some satellites got cancelled, hence why this was the short session of day-savers.

Had 200bb+ nearly the whole final table in the Omania, and hit every 3bet pot i called, iirc...

Cut the session short, and visit a friend now.

Didnt get the last double up deep in 33 to 530, same in 11 to 109 PLO. Also busted some bullets in other sats and day-savers.

Made second in small 5.50$ PLO hyper to reduce the damage.

Ended session early again, but will fire one last game in 3 hours, the 5.50$ to 55$ NLO8 hyper KOmania. Have a feeling that i'll get into that one today.

Feeling a bit tired of the grind atm, and likely just reg games from 18 to 20 o'clock tomorrow.

Partly has to do with switching from energy drinks to drinking green and black tea only, i guess. But i'll soon get used to that.

Really hope that the SCOOP schedule will be announced soon, so that i can calculate how much i'll roughly have to invest.

Looking very good for me, with many/most events being 11/109/1050$, which means i dont have to satellite into those low events.
And ofc being able to use max bullets is worth a lot in every low event, especially the knockouts.

There are several days with two or even three non-nlhe events, but all comfortably between 17:30 and 19:30 CET, if they arent turbo, with few exceptions.
Means, i can basically keep grinding the same hours as usual during the series.

Really hope that there will be some multi-step micro satellites, or at least an 11$ rebuy to all those 215$-1050$ events.

For some variants like Stud8 and PLO hi, same as for horse and 8game mix, i will likely fire max bullets, even if there are more satellites per event.
Buy ins for satellites to other variants in that buy-in range will heavily depend on how i run, and how i feel.

Sadly, there is no PLO or 8game highroller, "only" the 5200$ PLO main event...
But i expect to see many multi-steps micro-satellites to that one, and will surely fire those like there is no tomorrow, no matter if im up or down, at the end of the series.

Been studying PLO8 and NLO8 for quite a bit now, feeling way better playing turns and rivers, and will add a few more of those into my schedule again, when i dont feel like only playing a short session.

Now i'll invest an hour per day to work on my PLO 5card skills - mostly just watching YouTube videos - and soon add an 11$ pko day-saver of it to my daily schedule.
That one can fill a gap in between peak hours and late Omaha8 MTTs, whenever i dont have any big ones left.

Why no more caffeine?

Tea and dark chocolate have theain or so, which acts like caffeine, but with slower release, and no crash afterwards.
If you like coffee or energy drinks, you should at least wait 60-90 minutes after waking up, before having the first one, and get at least 5-10 minutes of actual day-light before... Helps with better sleep at night, and you avoid crashing, due to some adenosin, melatonin and whateves else your body and mind prefers to be served like that... to function well.

Lost heads up for ticket to 109$ 5card PLO KOmania, and 8game satellite got cancelled, but i won both sats to 109$ PLO KOmania.

Been chipleader in that one for a while, but busted without any bounties after missing every flop when bounty hunting, which you sometimes cant avoid, when its 75% bounties.

Got some decent bounties in the day savers, though.

Played only 4 hours, then took a 2 hours break, before losing 80 bucks in a turbo and hyper session, over an hour.

Ended the day being up 2$.
Taking a long hot shower now, and make a nice ribeye steak with broccoli afterwards.

It was about time for a big losing day again, i guess... Good reason to take some time off.

Lost more than two hundred more on sunday, starting today with roughly 5300$.


Instead of keep banging max bullets to 109$ and 530$ PLO events as i used to do, i will just use one entry per satellite to those, and skip some of them when i have deep runs in other games.

I'll prefer to play more satellites to daily Omaha and Mixed events from 22$ to 55$ - all games, which i could afford to play directly by now - and will also add at least one bullet in the 11$ to 109$ nlhe power path sats, in hopes of shipping a silver pass in the 109$ event.
Silver pass would mean one 530$ SCOOP ticket, and several 215$, 109$, 55$ etc for ~2.2k total, potentionaly saving me much energy during SCOOP days, where i could skip many early satellites.

But i will also add some more micro day savers, like the reg speed 7.50$ 5card PLO and a 7.50$ turbo NLO8 after peak hours.

I did some calm thinking about how to proceed.

I won the 109$ PLO KOmania twice, once on a saturday, and another one on a sunday. I also shipped the 55$ 8game, and twice cashed a 530$ PLO within the last 5 weeks, all from 11$ or lower satellites.

Spun up 20 bucks to slightly +6k, in games with tiny field-sizes...


From now on, until SCOOP starts, i will skip ALL satellites, except the 11$ to 109$ powerpath nlhe, to win a silver pass for ~2.3k SCOOP ticket bundle.

Means, i basically just grind up to 11$ MTTs for 3 weeks.


Like this, im +90% sure that i'll have more than $5k when SCOOP starts, and also have a good chance to win a 2.3k silver pass for many big tickets until then, if i invest ~22$ per playing day...

It wouldnt make any sense to keep risking about 300$ daily, chasing a period like last 30 days - which is hard to top - when i can simply grind low for 3 weeks, and then easily get five times more value for every shot that i take.


This will help me to take more days off, play more variants that i usually dont play - training for SCOOP - and allowe me to focus on every important hand, when just playing 2-3 tables.

Also giving room to cheaply experience more possible run bad...


But dont get me wrong... As soon as SCOOP starts, i will fire everything under the sun, including the daily schedule, again, not slowing down at all, except when i drop below 2200$ bankroll.

Bubbled vs naked gutshot, missed every 3bet pot, plus some classic runner runner stuff again... Early big stacks diminished on every bullet

At the end of the day, i got into the 109$ cooldown and 55$ NLO8 hyper KOmania where i made min-cash plus bounties, and 3rd plus bounties...

KK couldnt hold vs naked JTs flushdraw for freaking chiplead pot on bubble of cooldown...
Very frustrating...

Busted 109$ powerpath ticket running AQs into KK when trying to ISO a shorty, already being pretty deep...but won a new ticket before.

Solid 300$ profit today.

Looked like i win four of four satellites to the big omaha and mixed events at the same time during peak hours, but ended up losing all of them within less than 20 minutes, two on stone bubble.

Then i won a 1400bb pot in 11$ PLO KOmania soon after, but had to rebuy half an hour later...
Simply lost three 40-75%er that i shoved on the flop to "surely" get the big bounties...

I know it sounds silly, but somehow i hit every clubs nutflushdraw, but never hit with hearts, since a while


Went deep in 109$ powerpath, just to run TT into KK aaand AA.... Never win those spots, like i always see others do, hahaha

Resorted to more holdem, and first made 6th of more than 700 in the 11$ nlhe hu total ko for nearly 200$, and then made 7th in 44$ hot hyper pko for a bit more than 200$, iirc.

Got unlucky on good 3barrel bluff in the heads up, where villain hit his overcard on the river. Been overdoing it slightly with the bluffing...

I also shoved K8 from ep at the 44$ hyper final table, like an idiot, with solid 12bb left... Would have been chipleader if i won, though...

If i wouldnt have pushed so hard at the end of those two, it could have been a nice winning day...

I feel like i have a lot more energy with the new diet, and without any alcohol or actual caffeine.
That'll be very important tomorrow, because multitabling mixed is a lot tougher than PLO or NLHE.

I will cut out all PLO8 games from now on, because those nits in them drive me mad. Only playing that game during SCOOP, when its soft and big.
