It sucks to play mixed and plo past peak times, but when i would start earlier, i could include some daysavers like the 4,40$ horse...

Invested the 33$, but only managed to satellite into 22$ limit Omaha8, and mincash it for 41$.
Thats the 3rd straight cash in the 22 Mixed daily now. Satellites are very soft. And even in the money, there we're some clueless droolers left.

Playing early morning session, and already break even, with currently biggest stack and bounty at 3.30 hot KOmania 8max final table...

Shipped it for 41$ first, and juicy 88$ in bounties.

The KOmanias with 75% bounties are a huge shitshow with many 1000bb pots, and multiway preflop all ins with offsuit crap. Sadly didnt hit any big hand at any plo hi event so far today...

Kept running bad at all PLO tourneys, but managed to satellite into the 109$ 8game octopus. Collected 62$ in bounties, but then missed a wheel-wrap in limit Omaha8 capped 3way with both opponents going for high and worse low on 34Qr... Brick turn and river highcards, with my A256ss...

Tomorrow is ofc full of great events, and im contemplating to skip some smaller ones like 7.50 horse or 8game with tiny fields, in favor of being able to play more satellites.

Best events are the 82$ horse, and the 44$ and 109$ 8game, as well as the 55$ and the two 109$ PLOs.

Maybe i'll even fire one or two of the 2-steps satellites (3.30/5.50/7.50) to the 530$ Omaha Highroller... those are extremly soft.

Thanks mate... Busted that one, but also got into 109$ KOmania aaand... Busted that, too.
But i also got into the 109$ 8game and won 155$ for 5th, including bounties.

Deep itm in 11$ KOmania, i busted vs chipleader for huge chiplead pot with nutstraight and flushblockers s his naked nutflushdraw... Checkshoved oop perfectly, but couldnt hold.

Also made 12th in 11$ 8game, after being shortstacked all the time...

Unsure if i'll play tomorrow, but might be squeezing in a short session around the usual satellites and day-savers during the two peak hours in the evening.

I busted all the satellites that mostly even had overlay, one on the stone bubbled to the 55 8game...

But i made 3rd in a small field 11$ 8game for 49$, and also 5th or so on 7.50 Omania final table...

Been down Like 50 bucks roughly, and decided to end the session drinking beer, and single tabling a 3.30$ 6card PLO... late regging with 12.5bb, and never folded or lost a hand until i had 160bb with 7 left. Second had 30bb at that time...

Shipped it for 65$ to save the day

And since i shipped one again, im now playing a 5.50$ to sunday 8 million again, already second of 20, with 2 tickets...

Time to make use of the run good tomorrow.
I will fire max bullets in the 2-steps satellites to the 530$ PLO super tuesday highroller.
Those are 3.30, 5.50 and 7.50, to get into the 33, 55, and 82$ satellites.
Roughly 50$, if i use all bullets.
Those tourneys are ridic soft, and often have overlay, too.

The 530$ only has 7.5k guarantee, hence less than 20 players. Thats reducing variance for me, lol...

I did study quiet a bit during the years that i had a backing deal, but mostly just the three Stud variants and Limit Omaha8. And by that i mean running lots of hands on pokerprotools.com... Or was it propokertools... I dont even remember... Enter hands, and see the EV sorta programm.
I did read the 2+2 books for Stud Hi and stud8/omaha8, too. And i can really say those helped my game a lot.

Regarding PLO high variants, 2-7 triple draw and lately NLO8, i just learned it by playing shorthanded and especially heads up a lot.

Did only read jeff wangs old book about PLO, which is outdated and nitty, only good for live deepstacked 9max, imo.

Once i saw free GTO 6max rfi ranges for PLO from Doug polks site, i was so close to that, that i felt very save at 6max with 100bb and deeper.
Shortstacked PLO is a bit difficult, but as the bigstack vs other shorties in MTTs, its kinda easy. And with nearly all PLO MTTs being pko nowadays, it makes even more sense to gamble for a big stack early on, and either make it and then apply pressure, or bust early and play the next one.

I was a big winner at plo50 heads up (but never won much at higher stakes heads up), back in the days when people didnt quit other regs quickly, and stacks often got 500 or sometimes even 1000bb deep on both sides, before someone lost a pot big enough to make him leave.
Also been playing PLO MTTs since nearly 15 years now.

FL 2-7 TD is a very mathematical game, but once you got solid preflop ranges and know when to make folds after the draws due to bad odds, its quite easy and comes natural, when you are already experienced in many other formats.
I used to play oogee (Former high-stakes crusher) Heads Up from $2/$4 up to 10/20. Been running very well at the beginning...

Dont ask me about Limit Holdem... That game is just stupid, hahaha. Its been kinda fun and fast action heads up, but that was never profitable at 2/4 or 3/6 without a whale on the other side of the tables, due to rake.


If you IAmCapitano, or anyone else, have any more specific questions regarding a specific hand, rough ranges in certain spots, or whatever else question about any variant that isnt holdem, i will try to give the best answer i can.

Would be great to get more mixed players on PS. Games are good, and often even have overlays. Would be better to get more players into it, than PS reducing guarantees...

Played a long dession today and busted max bullets in many day savers, just ran terrible in them.

Qualified for 22$ KOmania and busted.
Qualified to 33$ satellite to 530$ PLO and busted.
Got into 55$ 8game, but it didnt start, hence just got tournament dollars.
Also made it into the 109$ KOmania, where i raised river with top 3 pairs as fullhouse blocker on 229KQ, and some moron called his nutflush vs pot-raise otr...

Been stuck about 180$, and decided to fire some NLO8 hypers...And suddenly, i started running hot again

Shipped the 11$ NLO8 hyper for solid 131$, plus amazing 315$ in bounties

Im contemplating to play another big session tomorrow, and likely take thursday off, to be well rested when the weekend starts.
