^^ I'm going to guess that around the time of his last update he had 1.0895 million. Just a complete off the top of my head guess though. If I'm right I should be sent monies...

Sorry if this is derailing, but Alex do you think $7 hypers are profitable (because of rake)? I've heard people say below 15s aren't worth it?

The are easily beatable. You can likely squeeze out a ~7% roi at 7's if you are good.

A good mass-tabler could make a very respectable hourly playing the $7s (as a Supernova).

Awice - Could you tell us your poker background please? How did you get started? What stakes, etc?

Thanks!

5% ROI at the $7s playing 60 games/hour as a Supernova would be about $33/hour I think? More tables/hour and a higher ROI are both attainable.

Very interesting. I'm a cash player and I've always that pretty much everyone was break even at hypers. What's the main reason for this, because of small stake or full ring?

In $7's? I would prop bet I could do it over a sufficient sample.

But, what is 'sufficient'?

No idea about 7s roi. Also I think at that level, with such a wide player pool and because playing each opponent is so crucial (because they are more exploitable) that the roi varies wildly between the player type (what I mean by this is that two players that are eg. both avg 0% at 500s could have very very different rois.)

Also I shudder to think about 35cents a game lol, that'd really grinding it out lol.

Obv as many games as it takes until the ROI stat says "12%"

Or 25k games, IMO

Why are higher rois attainable at 9m than 6m? It seems like 6m would be higher b/c you get to play a higher % of hands. 6m also probably averages a lot less time per game, which will affect hourly (though not pure roi). I'm not familiar with the stars ST structures though, so maybe I am missing something.

wanted ur input on something please. what icm program do u use and how reliant or assuring are you of that program? i plugged a 67% pushing range from sb into my bb both in SNGsolver and also in ICMizer, solver suggests calling 91% and mizer 55%, what a huge gap.

It makes me very uneasy and unassured as to how approach these vast differences. any suggestions?

Prize pool at 6 mans is 6 x buy in.
Prize pool at 9 mans is 9 x buy in.

This is probably one of the main things you're missing
