lol they are mtt'ers who's main priority in life is calculating how many blunts they can take to the face on each 5 minute break, you decide if he's serious or not.

Every time I drive by those dudes waving signs advertising for stores I think "damn min wage has to be too ****ing low if stores can actually afford to hire people to do this as legitimate advertising."

I see.

American wages are a joke, but it's not the only problem when you compare Americans holiday pay (lack of) to the rest of the developed world it's ridiculous. Also I think the job of sign waving exists because America has strict laws on displaying signs in busy areas, but a person holding the sign is a loophole. I'm not American tho, so I may be wrong.

Anyway, we may be derailing the thread a little idk.

This is almost certainly correct. You see them in the UK as well, and its always in places where the company would be unlikely to obtain planning permission and/or licensing for any kind of structure, permanent or otherwise, to use as an advertising hoarding. A guy standing in the street does not require any such approval.

It remains unclear why such a large percentage of the time the sign they are holding says "GOLF SALE".

Google translate says

Well, definitely remedies on the rule to fire, and, I understand better golf equipment the fact that what the state "abnormal ground," as referred to in the rules first in order to play to maximize it is necessary.

so basicly "wanna buy some clubs?" i guess

excellent

Alex, i recall you mentioned earlier that your study: play ratio is some high multiple in favor of study, and am wondering if that refers to the overall time in your poker career, in which you mentioned you wasted significant time and didn't reach your potential, or whether that was referring to current day or recently, and in particular in hyper turbos. just trying to get an idea of your learning curve for these i guess since i'm very interested in this format. can you give us any taste of what your study sessions entail? if no, a pm would be awesome (i live in the US for 6 more months and am super underrolled for your games so no worries that i may become good and battle you any time soon.)

is the number of games running your limiting factor or is it mental, physical? how has the energy and excitement that went into making this goal/thread been holding up?

wish i could scrap the last post and those other posts i have made ITT hah, too late

you mentioned you don't play satellite format hypers, and i'm curious if it's just learning a new format or some other reason why that is.

what have you been listening to while grinding lately?

Alex does that 96k figure mean that you're running 96k under ev?

does that EV work correctly?

i know some hyper guys i have chatted with are all weird about their EV calcs and what not.

i know MO had to make some of his own to see some of it.

Nice work thus far. really impressive the pace you are on this year.

I'm really skeptical about HM2 EV graphs, they seem pretty random - so that's probably why.

Apologies for derailing this thread, but anybody know why MO hid his name from the PS site and stopped updating his blog? (if this is posted elsewhere, can somebody point me in the right direction?). I was enjoying watching both AW and MO in their chase, then MO just fell off the map.

GL AW - hope variance switches direction for you soon.
