Unlucky day mate, I definitely wouldn't beat yourself up about either of those hands tbh. TT hand is in no way a mistake whatsoever IMO, villain will shove 89s/99, and ofc has plenty of FDs. Remember you're supposed to lose this hand more often than not. You easily have the 31% equity needed to call it off imo.

I think KJ is a little closer just because people probably only taking this line with combo draws as far as bluffs go, and not **** like A5ss , if they have all naked fds I think this becomes fine as well. I mean the guy can still have KT/K9ss and really only has AK/KQ/maybe AA for value which isn't a ton. These spots you can easily check by ramming a fairly conservative range into equilab and checking your equity.

I suspect both hands are totally fine. If you had KoJs in hand one I think it would be a fold.

I think you and I are quite alike in that I too beat myself up for making calls like this. It's the hardest part about poker imo, because you have to call knowing you're going to lose more than half the time - and something about doing that just always feels like we've made a mistake after having done so and seeing that we lost.

Gl out there brother.

Ty for feedback, I do agree that KJ is underbluffed spot so easier to let it go.

Yeah it's hard to accept you need to lose often but still right thing to call it

Glad to hear you enjoy Croatia.
Split is great city during summer, but I'm sure you'll enjoy Zagreb if you come

After Tuesday I didn't play much, lost few more BIs on GG, played some on Bros, Diamond Union banned emulators for most nl200+ tables so I was checking action on my phone, and it did looked good.

At one point I was 9 tabling on 2 phones and 3 emulators, eventually did lost some but will play more this week to get better feeling how good games are.

Fri and Sat was reserved for mini trip for wife's birthday, she always prefer traveling than gifts so we went to the coast.
As it usually goes when she plan vacation I've made 16k steps according to my phone, and was dead tired in the evening but enjoyed time with them.
My older boy is in almost 5, and he needs more time with me, although I try to spend as much as I can time with them during the week, but last 50 days I was playing shitload, cash, mtts, spend decent amount of hours on Bros affiliation, studying so it was not easy to him, neither to wife.

Yesterday was last wcoop day so played a lot of mtts, had semi deep run in 1k GG masters top stack with 100 players left but eventually got 3,3k, I did made day 2 in 5k main with 100bb and have solid stacks in 55$ main, and 250€ Ps.es main so there are some hopes for today.

Cheers!

Monthly report.

It was swingy month, if it was played backwards from 30th till 1st I would be writing happy ending of what was close worst month ever. But this way as month started with 20k upswing hard to have good feeling.

PS+GG graph:

Got total 5,6k RB, and lost about 1,5k with RB included on Pokerbros. and won about 500€ on Unibet.

so that makes it around 8,5k month with RB which is decent but my expectations are bigger, and want to establish in 10k+ per month.

MTTs were bad last month lost around 5k in low BI for my self and increased make up with backer, I'll play some Mid/HS mtts on Sundays but not planing to have MTTs day till another series.

I'm spending a lot of time on off table work, and have feeling that I'm playing better and better so I hope that results will follow my expectations

I'm also spending more time on Pokerbros affiliation, still have very good deals and got some known agents playing under me. I wanted to hire someone to handle those things out, but I'm not certain how long I'll be able to keep those deals since everyone is crushing, and I'm quite sure that I would double checking him anyway just to be sure everything is done correctly.

Despite working my ass off after Wcoops finished, managed to organize my time much better and finally spending more quality time with family, Going to sleep around midnight and waking up early and leaving working room around 4-5 pm, also taking one day off to spend with family from morning.

Kids and wife are much happier with this rhythm so I'll try to maintain it.

Cakes&icream after hard working day

What goes up, must come down! Tilting month for sure, but it's pretty sweet having a strong rakeback hourly at least!

I know what you mean re the agenting thing being a massive time suck. One of my previous PM agents had a group of about 7 virtual assistants (I think Taiwan based or something) who would be available 24/7 to handle chip requests etc. Depending how big your group is, I'd definitely recommend hiring a VA to do all that stuff for you if possible.

At the very least I'd recommend NOT doing chip swap requests when your players ask, as it eats into your ability to be productive and get work done yourself. Tell your players you'll set aside an hour per day at x o clock where you'll do all the admin stuff, people will be understanding and you won't be constantly ***** about with that stuff!

Almost a month without updates, I've been busy and didn't find much time posting here, barely find time to read some interesting topics on the forum.

Poker month was meh, volume was worst since I've started PGC, with shameful 22k hands, and overall 10k profit with RB at cash tables.
I've lost on GG and Winamax, and almost all winnings came from Pokerbros tables.

First 20 days I was running good winning a lot over a small sample, playing and running well, and since I had a lot of other commitments I was quite happy with those short sessions, and even started believing that low volume, but good performance is very good for me. Ofc that as soon I lost around 7-8k in few days realized that with poor volume I could be losing for weeks, and can't satisfy with low volume, even if results are good.

GG+PS+ other sites

With RB exactly BE .

Pokerbros:

With RB +10k$, some hands played on phone are missing, and most hands here are played in GBP.

MTTs, played only last Sunday, lost 5k$ backed and increased MU to over 50k€
and was up 1,3k$ on lower BI events. had 2 solid semi deep runs in 200$ MTTs but ended winning 1,5k and 1,1k in those.

Pokerbros affiliation is still going well, and got PPPoker deals but now I'm at the point that I should probably start advertising and maybe even make the website. A few times already while talking with different club owners after mentioning my rake numbers they asked do I have a website so felt bit awkward
Was already talking with one guy who offered me to do marketing stuff, but will look for more options. If any of the readers here have some good ideas, and are interested, feel free to contact me, and maybe we can work something out, cause I'll definitely continue to develop affiliation business.

I'm also onto some other projects but will wait a bit before talking more about those.

and last but most important I'm enjoying with family, since I'm not playing tourneys and waking up in the morning I'm able to spend quality time with them in the afternoon, and taking one weekend day off so we can go on a trip or spent in nature means a lot to us.

On Tuesday my older boy is turning 5, it's unreal how fast time is going, one of my next goals is to buy a house or apartment so we're settled before he starts school, would hate that we need to move around once he starts with school.
Already looking at some properties, but have a big problem that neighborhoods and properties I like are too expensive for my current bankroll, and prefer not to take a huge loan from bank, since poker earnings are never secure.
Ideally would be to take a loan that most likely I'll be able to pay out in 5 years and pay rest in cash.

Cheers and Gl everyone at the tables.

Ty

Well playing is something that I'm good at, and by putting my focus elsewhere my performance while playing drops and that result with worse results... so I'm not sure what is the best/worst option in the long run, but yeah I don't want to have to play poker as my only income...

Making good money just out of playing is going to be harder but I'm quite sure that we still have few years to make solid money, and at the same time it's not easy to make solid money from something new, everything you work on requires a lot of dedication to succeed.

I see that on my affiliation business, last few months I've been doing very good there, got some good connections and deals, but the numbers remain the same as they were 2 months ago, but have more stuff to do now, and came at point where I'm having a hard time getting new players, so next step would be investing in marketing, making website etc, but that again requires more work and less time for playing, and probably worse results since focus wouldn't be best.

Good example about losing focus, last month we were actively searching for an apartment to buy, and that took a lot of energy, have feeling that literally, the only thing wife and I did was talking about apartments, lot's of arguing between us, and both of us were under a lot of pressure, good friend offered us top deal in a building that will be finished in June on one of the best location in Zagreb, but it's still very expensive, so we were looking for alternative cheaper options, eventually made a deal with him that we can decide till April which removed the pressure of making a decision now while we still didn't have time to do a good search of other options.

Last month was a rough one, if I didn't catch some good run last few days it would be a disaster.
Lost around 20k pre RB on PokerBros, 7k of it was on EuroBros union where I saw many others complaints about colluding, I saw others warning about it before but at that point, I was doing well there so didn't care much.

Now it's more than obvious that there is something sketchy there, perceived weak players having high wwsf, low wtsd, playing 30/10 with low 3bet very similar to known colluders from Pokermaster 2 years years ago.

Since I couldn't win pot postflop vs them, that also made an impact on my other results where games were clean, but I was making suboptimal moves just cause an overall feeling that I'm getting crushed.

Last week I didn't play there and again I was feeling confident about my game, run was also good so I'm looking forward to this month grind.

About MTTs played only few of them, profiting 500$ that I play for myself and having one good spot to bink big in 1k GG masters Highroller where I finished 7th for 24k, while it was 178k for first.

Last hand vs Daniel Dvoress, I was expecting he'll be wide enough but, asked few hs mtt players and some said it's close some said he'll be for sure wide enough.

Thanky you.

Side stress has a big impact on my results, I've noticed that in the past, my worst months previous years were when I got 2nd child, same happened when I got first kid and few more examples.

Thank you but unfortunately, that didn't happened

Lets start with December update, another bad month in the books, poor volume by me, spending a lot of time on affiliation stuff, then spend bit more time with family during holidays, results in another losing month.

Although I have feeling that I'm playing well, nothing goes my way, my bluffs gets picked up more often, my value doesn't get payed, runnouts are bad either for my hand or for my range, and when runnout is good, they just have better.

Graph is not really accurate, since I'm down about 8,1k before RB, and with RB it's -3,1k month.

MTTs Dec didn't play much but lost 3,4k in low BI, and stuck bit more in MU for higher BI.

Yearly update:
Overall I'm very disappointed with my results this year, I had high expectations, then Covid appeared and games become even better than what we expected to be, so that makes my year even more below expectations.

at mid year update I was up 33k at cash tables and about 37k on MTTs,
but last 6 months I've made only 18k$ after RB playing Cash, and was BE on lower BI MTTs, while lost 57k$ Higher BI which is super frustrating.

Cash 2020: +51k$
MTTs 2020: +37k$
and stuck decent in MU for higher BIs.

I can blame bad run at higher games, but it's evident that it's not just a bad run.

PokerBros my results were far from expectations, and I would be more suspicious that I didn't work as an affiliate and saw most players having very good results and making much more then they expected.

GG games look good, but the rake is also high, and I was doing really bad at 1k games while doing ok on NL500 games, for next year I'll try to play more on GG since that's the only site where I can put good volume at my preferred playing hours, so I can still spend quality time with family.

PS games on 2/5 and 5/10 I'm just getting crushed, sample is small but can't win vs them, that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep trying

Yearly graph :

it's about -5k$, had around 10-15k winnings on untracked sites from start of the year, which means that I got around 40-45k$ in RB

I'll probably post more about plans in next year but this post already took me lot of time so I wish you all the best in new year!!!!

Few days have passed and I was thinking a lot about results, game, performance, and altogether think I shouldn't be that unsatisfied with the year overall.
Yeah it could have been a lot better, but tbh I was doing lot of other things that reduced focus at poker tables, but made decent money out of it so it's still fine

Goals for 2021.
1. First and most important is to play more, if I want to make money can't do it by playing low volume.

2. Relax/Prepare before the session- that's something that I was not doing at the start of the year(had bad results) then much more mid year(good results), but a lot less last few months( again bad results). Last few months my volume was poor, so I was not spending additional time to prepare and rather just jumping at the tables and that surely had an impact on my performance.

3. Study more efficiently- last year I did study more than previous years but that could have been better organized, so will work on that part.

4. Profit: last year I set a goal at 150k$, with affiliation and staking( without crypto gains failed that amount by 10k), so for this year I'll set it again at 150k profit. It will be a lot harder, games are tougher, and for HS MTTs I'm in solid MU(which at the start of last year didn't have), but have good feeling that I'll do much better at tables this year.

Non Poker Goals-
1. Lose weight, that's also something I've failed to do last year. Atm I'm on 105kg, and today is my first day without sweets. Will try to do 30 days without any sweets/sugar. Honey for Coffee is allowed, and maybe Cola at some special occasion

3. Buy an apartment.
We still didn't make the final decision but most likely we'll buy it this year. Friend made me a very good offer, it's quite expensive but still have 2 months to make a decision. It depends a lot how btc will do next 2 months, if it goes up a lot more then most likely I'll decline his offer cause I'll have more $, and will try to find apartment on cheaper location and buy more m².

This is his apartment, probably among better locations in the town.
https://eurovilla.hr/nekretnina/sreb...mjesta/282673/

Didn't write anything about family but I've been already blessed to have them, so only wish is we remain as happy as we currently are.

I'll try to update more frequently here, whenever I don't update for longer time postponing that even longer cause have more stuff to write.

Going to do 10 min Session preparation and continue with Day 2 5M$ Blowout, 50bb and 8k players left

Cheers!!!

Jan update.

Again I was too lazy to update here regularly, not much was happening, had some semi deeps in MTTs but in the end nothing worth mentioning except that I'm stuck even more in make up on higher BI MTTs, but last 2 weeks played only 1 MTT, and not planing to play much of MTTs in Feb, no bigger events, so I'll probably just play less than 30 MTTs in Feb.

After 2 bad months finally good month at the cash tables, run was obv better than before but don't have feeling that I was running that good as EV line will suggest ( guess it's always like that when we run below ev, it's bad run, when we run above EV, we don't run that good as it looks like. )

Won 10k on tracked sites + 1k on untracked sites and about 2,3k in RB, makes it bit over 13k cash profit.

Played 46 MTTs with AVG BI 190 that I don't sell action and won 5k$ there, a shame cause had a decent amount of semi deeps with good stack in very soft fields that I couldn't make in any of those better than 30th place.

Overall happy with monthly results, off table work, and focus during sessions, although there is still a lot of room for improvements.

Cheers.

huh, it's been over 2 months since the last update, it's been another rollercoaster of confidence and performance at the tables.

After a very good January was confident that a good period is coming but Feb was meh again, not the best run, was not happy with how I play while running bad, which resulted in a 2k loss after RB in Feb, then March started even worse with losing 7k in the first week. Took 2-3 days off, did database review to see where am I leaking most, had a session with Ja.sam.gale after a long time, talking to another guy who plays the same stakes, and somehow everything changed.

Was paying more attention to stuff I talked with Gale and other friend, run was good and in March won 27k with RB on PokerBros and about 3k on other sites making it my 2nd best month ever

April was month for MTTs again, lots of series and I couldn't resist not playing those, although I was tempted to just skip almost everything and grind cash....
month ended up losing 10k for myself and reduced MU for 2k for backer cause friend won 100k and had 5% swap.

Nothing really worth of mentioning only a couple of semi deep runs and 1 FT in 1k PKO event where I lost huge flip for 6k bounty and CL and busted 8th for 11,5k.

My general impression is that MTTs on 500-2k BI become much tougher, 2 years ago I was always confident in those pools that I'm making better decisions than most MTT regs, but now I'm not sure anymore, my value bets are not getting called, have feeling that they bluffcatch me much better than I do vs them( they always have it when I call) runnouts are not helpful either.

It wasn't deep but it was 400$ headliner and had a good stack in soft event so I was pretty frustrated after busting that one.

Good example of perfect runout to lose most chips, after session I was thinking should I have folded it, and while browsing Instagram saw Pads post where he folds a boat on the river on FT bubble and few hours later he win event for 100k, and I got my answer

I could probably post dozens of hands every day.

This month's volume is pretty poor, so I might post some challenge in the coming days to motivate myself.

Tyty.

Hi all, wanted to make a short update with weakly goals, atm not really happy with my approach, not working enough on game, and when I do work it's not well organized, not playing enough( only 20k hands this month), spending too much time on phone when I should be studying.

Results wise month is going unreal good, but I'm just sun running on highest limit, and yesterday had bad day after long time and again realized how little is needed to shake me up.

Goals for 24-31. May:
Pick a spot and do 6h PIO on it.
HH Review, 4h
30h Playing.
Reduce screen time on phone to <4h ( atm 5h)

and few hh from last week:

huh again long time without posting, just didn't have much to post about.
Last 2 months my volume was shameful, picking furniture for the apartment, Euro, summer has taken it's part and I barely even played.

We should have moved in the apartment 1st Sep, but the building is still under construction, and a decent amount of work needs to be done, so hopefully, we move in in December.

It's a bit frustrating cause we planned everything, changed kindergarten for boys, summer vacation was also arranged so we can move, but it's not we or investor can do anything about it, so he does his part best he can and we wait. On the other side prices went up a lot since we made the agreement, and pretty happy that he didn't change anything, so the apartment is already worth about 40k€ more than what we'll pay for it.

Another news is that I'm expanding my affiliation offer, and looking forward to expanding even more.
Pokerbros affiliation still doing well and almost all my players win there at a very good rate.

This month I become a partner for BetkingsGG, so in the coming months, I'll work on marketing to get players there. If anybody is looking to make acc on GG, feel free to message me, will have very good promotions for new players, top deals for high volume players, and a lot of other promotions.
Most likely I'll start streaming at some point but postponing that cause don't think I would be a good streamer, I'm really bad when multitasking, but potential upsides from streaming are pretty good so need to try.

Created Telegram channel, where I'll drop announcements, offers etc.

Poker as already said shameful volume last 2 months, but even before was not great, in 4 months played 72k cash hands and made total 32,5k profit with RB, but most was done in May, and later results were not good.
Didn't play much MTTs, even now when there are series, playing only 2-3 days per week, lost 4,5k for myself in lower BIs and action I have on myself in higher BIs.
Had some semi deeps, but still waiting for a good score, hopefully, it will be in one of the main events

PokerBros action is still very good, and I should probably play there most, but peak time for playing there is really bad for family life, so I'll try to play more on GG and other Eu sites and see how it goes there.

Pokerbros May-Aug +24,3k$ after RB

Shame that I lost a decent amount on 10/20 games. June-Aug

Other sites: May-Aug 8,5k after RB

Year to date:
Cash around 74$ profit
MTTs: -10,5k myself, and a lot of make up on higher BIs.

5k Missclick turned into 74k$ Win

You know those cool luckbox stores, usually, you hear how someone got lucky, well I got one yesterday.

I knew it's gonna be a big grind day, WCOOP main events, a lot of GG and Winamax events, needed to pick events carefully cause I have trouble playing 12+ tables even if it's not too long.
I made mistake by regging too many low stakes MTTs around 4-5 Pm, as I was running ok, and not busting anything around 7:30 pm had 12 tables, and was looking at what else I need to register, I wanted to register 525$ Bounty and lightning speed clicked register and confirm to a 5,2k PKO on GG.

First reaction was fml, then I thought maybe I'll have a good story tomorrow.
5 hours later binked it for 74k$

Have all 3 WCOOP main day 2s so hopefully, good run continues had very good table on a 5k main, I was pretty tight mainly cause I was playing 12+ tables for so long so was definitely missing a lot of spots that are auto folds on cash games but was running good so it was still fine

Near the end of the day lost a huge pot, but will start with 50BB day 2 so it's still fine.
