not a good volume, due to nice weather outside.
This month i work more with solvers. 2-3 hours a day, even, when i watch football or hockey. But try to slow down a little bit, and start hard grind from september.
Of course my target is still appr 80 hours a month right now.

Recently i ve worked with my psychologist abour mental issue,i mentioned in last comment. So we tried some excercises, to keep focusing the same on plo200 and plo400. Unfortunately plo600+ is not running at the moment. Sometimes one good table, but as u can see, ive played only 15 hands there, and table collapsed.

One think i would like to mention, that 16bb/100 rake is based on all games ive played. From 2 to 6 max, because I play a lot of 2,3,4 handed as well.

Euro started, with horrible accident with C.Eriksen. Big relief, that he is concious and stable conditions. MOnday is the most important game for me. Slovakia - Poland. My two home countries, so draw will be fair, but not decent result for both.

more action still on plo200.Played only 40h, but the same amount of time i spended in solver. Decreasing number of tables is short term good decision, because i can focus more on my game and take notes for my opponents.

Hello mates, how its going?


played only 50h and almost 16k hands.
Strange thing again. Sample is to small to have conclusions, but stil have better winrate on plo400 than 200. Games a slightly better playerwise on plo200.
Still working with psychologist to have the same focus level on each stakes.





This month still my target is to cap 20k hands. Or sth like that.

I try to have smaller challenge here, to post one hand every each session. We will see how it works.


Euro 2021 is coming to over soon. France out, so team which i predicted to have at least second place. I have huge bet with friend that they will win championship. And my friend bet on Italy, and they are still in the game. Hopefully tomorrow they will go home after game against Portugal and i will save some money .

Please share your predictions, maybe it is time for England ? They have been waiting for that since 1966.

Long time no see. It is really tough to find a time to write something. I have been doing pretty good since last post. Have a great balance between game, sport and relax. Worked a lot on my game using solver, working with coaches, psychologist etc. I really feel, that I am in my best shape now. Struggled a lot with concentration, back then. Especially during longer sessions.

This year, my stable decided to add to our team a gym coach. I was not pretty sure, to squeeze in my daily plan a gym session. To be honest, I did, and it was one of the best decisions of my poker career. Keeping diet and working out, these things were what I needed to improve my focus. A lot of times, I had in my mind, that maybe today is not the best day, it is raining and adequate chance to go to the gym will be next day. However, ever since, I realized, that let's give a try. No regrets!

PS. Stats like Vpip seems weird, but I played a bunch of HU and 4,5handed, so didnt do a distinguish there.

I blurred the volume of each stakes etc, because recently I realized, that one guy applied to our stable using my graphs. Good try Buddy

2 months ago, player from these forums named :kawabunga reached me out about staking in our stable. He had some solid results and moreover he claimed that a HS player (Max Neugebauer) vouches for him. I’ve checked it and it’s very hard for me to reach Max, who probably doesn’t know about such a player (kawabunga – possibly Patrick B. from Salzburg).
As usual, we decided to test the poker skills of a newly acquired player to allow him to prove his game. It started out pretty well EV-wise (running under EV though), then suddenly he went down by a lot in a short period of time. We were contacted by the Club and Union owners and told that he chimpdumped almost 13k to some shady agent, who disappeared after that with all the money. The Bros people claim they have proofs of him colluding with other players at the table. They all collected their money and disappeared. Do any players from Austria read this topic?

Be extremely cautious about this guy. Also, it’s not the first time we’ve been scammed like that in this business. On top of that I would like to somehow inform Max that he is using his reputation to get a deal and possibly scam some more people.
Does anyone know this kawabunga guy or Max?
Did any of you experienced such situation before? Is there a way to avoid incidents like these in the future?

Glad to see people from Ninjas doing well - what do you think about app game quality these days? I think it dropped significantly since December, I moved off of app games around that time. I feel like the app game massive downswings are due to winrates fluctuation due to game quality, and less because of natural variance.

2023:
It's been a long time since we've seen each other. What's up with me? It was a quite satisfying year. It might not look that good on the attached chart, but it was with RB. I completely abandoned PLO4 in favor of PLO5c and PLO6c. I believe there's much more value there currently. Not many people know how to play it, and in the stable, we're working together to develop strategies on how to beat those games. It seems to me that you can achieve much higher winrates than in PLO4c. Moreover, the action is much bigger, and the players are much weaker. You might ask now, how can a year with an ev bb level of 5 be satisfying? Well, that was the price I had to pay to learn that you have to play more carefully preflop and be more focused. The mindset also has to be like steel because it's easy to get tilted on PLO6c. I have dedicated many hours to working with our sports psychologist. However, swings of around 40bi are normal even in PLO4c with good, aggressive play. Currently, we have much higher RB in the stable. It's a tempting thought to fire up as many tables as possible. However, thanks to many calculations, I've come to the conclusion that in terms of $/h, it's best to play 4-5 tables at once, even considering the massive RB.

Plans for 2024:
Improve my game in 5c and 6c. Find prospective players who would like to develop in the direction of 5,6c and work with them.

Kinda Brag. Let’s check how u should crush 6c Omaha. He is the co-owner and main head coach of my stable.

How's it going? For me, the year started relatively well. As you can see, Omaha 6-card is quite a ride. I even noted a 60BI downswing, but then recovered and then some. Running a bit over EV, which is quite pleasant, I won't deny. My goal for this year is to completely transition to six-card play. There are no solvers or any tools yet, so even regs are making cosmic mistakes.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, I'm playing very loose, which probably isn't entirely optimal. My goal for next month is to narrow down my game and try to make more notes on opponents, as well as reduce the number of tables. Currently, the stable is collaborating with a new trainer at the gym, and I see more results, and my body isn't as overloaded.

Are there any other 6-card players here? Where do you play and what are your feelings? In my opinion, it seems that most fishes are transitioning to this variant.

Why do you play so small if you have a backer and an established winrate at midstakes? If they won't let you play bigger, why have a backer?

Hello, I'm the CEO of Pokerninjas.

There is not that much value and traffic on higher stakes (PLO1k and above) regarding PLO6c. My top players were capable of beating PLO1k-2k with 8-15bb/100 EV adjusted winrate last year, but it was still not more than 1/3 of their total volume and the majority of those winnings came from PLO4c.

Tomas focuses on playing 6c right now and the biggest PokerBros Unions don't have much 6c going on above midstakes. We do have access to many other clubs and platforms as well, but we need to be almost 100% sure that the games are clean and beatable until we let someone test high stakes 6c there, this usually takes some time. And it's safer for everyone to test waters at midstakes first.

Having a backer like us lets a player not being scammed on Apps (which happens more than you think), have access to tested, safe games, free poker/mindset/fitness coaching, group coachings, friendly community, all the premium poker software, hand histories and so on. But the most important feature I believe is a sense of safety. We want our players to feel safe, not fear of being scammed, not paid by a backer or colluded at the tables. Having a backer like us lets you focus on poker entirely and fullfill your potential to the maximum.
