Ok everyone this will be my PG&C thread, and every other one, I'm going to be ashamed I fail miserably. Most due to every ones favorite subject...... The Mental Game!!!
A little bit about me... I am a self proclaimed recreational USA poker player with big plans and dreams. I work full time doing landscape construction , have 3 kids that I had way too young, and a loving significant other ( there mother) that supports me with all my dreams. I started playing poker a while ago when I was doing time in jail. It was a way that I learned to "eat" when I was doing time for stupid things because I couldn't make the right decision on how to make a living....nothing super bad.... this insanity lasted most of my adult life.
Back to poker.... I started playing serious last winter.... and when a say serious I mean serious fish.... I didn't know what bankroll management even was... After going busto a few times I started to do some research and look into the game, bought a couple books I couldn't even understand. And continued to lose money.
A few months ago I went to DC and got there free 7 day trial
and went to town... I have been studying there close to 7 hours a day 5 days a week. A serious study routine after working doing construction full time. My family thought I was crazy, I was doing more homework then all me kids put together... and there in middle school JR High and are on the honor roll
Number 1 goal: focus on Mental game
A. I bought a copy of MGOP and also I am really into a dc coach ... a little plug for him---> " Eightfold Path to Poker Enlightment" these guys are awesome and I suggest any serious poker player to check it out! Everyone's all about Jaren Tendler and I plan to read his book but like I said this guy Tommy Deangleo (sp) is a beast.
B. basically all my mental game needs improvement I'm going to leave it at that

goal 2:
Become master at hand reading ----> not much to say thee

well... that's about it I'm going to be posting hands, goals, graph, and everything else I'm just super beat and I allready played 1k hands up dates to come!!!! gl everyone!!!

Did two sessio the first wasnt so hot made a couple really spewy calls, but it set up a good 3 bet spot where i hit a set over AA and scraped a 300 bb pot.... My second session was horrific ran real good, up 2 bi than i ended up calling off 2 hands where i probaly should of folded... And up blowing 4 bi's.

Didnt go over this earlier but bank roll ::
Start 600$40 bi for 10nl and 8 bi's for shots at 25nl when plpdlop is over 40% or a can get good postion on lags etc..... Im going to try to split up my poker time into thirds, focussing in on 1/3 strategic study , 1/3 mental game study 1/3 play.

Keep updating with graphs and hand histories and I'll be a better help rather than saying anything ambiguous right now, GL

The first week end is in the books....Put in some good volume but I feel like I had to knock off some rust .... so I'm not happy to admit I didn't play that great
mental game: D-

Run review hands thru forum and my EV tables I created on EXCEL
Watch 1 video a day after work w/ notes

This is a hand I dont think I would of been able to let go
Villain is a lag 33/22/9 I put him on a weak range and slow played a bit, probaly a bad mistake but there something like 49 combos that smash me and when I was constructing my plan for the hand I said to myself that villain will probaly double barrel if he hits the turn

JTdd, don't overbet the pot, worst time to overbet.
KK, preflop bit big unless u had some reads.
              88 bigger on the flop.
              66 raise the turn.

ok here we go..... the mental game isnt doing to good ( trying to figure it out.... it feels like I am just punting away bi's for the sake of it..... I had to jump back down from dabbling in 50nl to playing 10nl

              Plan to over come this:
I feel I need to start working with someone else..... either a stake or coaching, I would lean toward staking, because my roll is really unhealthy. I also feel that the group structure of a stake would be beneficial to my game. Also separating myself from the $$ would be a big difference, just until I get back on my feet.
Until I figure this out I will be playing 10nl!!!
              gl every one !!

I don't know how you expect to pitch a stake with those graphs man. From your graphs it doesn't look like you're sticking to 5 and 10 nl only, maybe you should stop playing cash games and move onto sit and gos until you crush those
