I must be tranparent and say I **** hate losing and it ruined my day and makes scared for the future probably irrationally when I lose. First up 240played at MGM really well and made some good bluffs and balanced play and also gotta run a little bit good, then went to Red Rocks made 200 pretty quick then a new player I've never seen before sits down and he's kinda darty with his eyes and shifty I dunno it was hard to read anyways I had ace jack with an ace of spades on a jack club 9 spade 7 spade flop I raise 15 on button he calls I go 30 or 100% pot on flop he calls turn is 4 of spades he check in the dark I went 65 with him have 315 behind and I'm thinking I'm good here. He shoves I tank for like 2 min and I can see his heart pounding through his throat at an elevated rhythm. so I thought wow I have the blocker and top top I must be good! Wrong he had 89 spades and bricked river so one bad call cost me over 700$ pot which is a serious size for these games. then one more hand against him I'm on button he limps I raise 15 with king spade jack club he re raises to 50. NOw this player has never limped any strong hands before and Im 100% certain he would have raised with a strong, so his range was capped. I opt for a call in retrospect I should have shoved. but anyways he was playing more hands than anyone and making funny plays that worked out more than they didn't as he was running really well too but overall he had roller coastered up and down up stock from about 600$ so I was like finally I can exploit this guy he is tilty and trying to bully me around because I don't defend a lot of 3 bets ever and I know people see that. Anyways I just call flop is Q heart 4 spade 3 club dry board I could have any pocket pair 8's or better or aq kq qj so I shove first to act and he snap calls with ace 4 off that one stung because I got out played hard. him calling 125 big with a4 was beautiful play he could have sensed weakness off me without me even knowing it. turn gives me gut shot river brick. I don't even hate the way I played it as a I erred on the side of aggression. But I don't thinking was better than a C level play as he could have had like 56 or ak and still call. And I stayed 2 hours longer than I would have liked to which hurts more than losing the money, disrespecting my own integrity, So impulsive. So now I won't sleep as well as I need to and tomorrow I will play more balanced less aggressive and take solace in the fact that I was up 400+ at one point and just learn from this to leave when game gets bad my main goal for Talking Stick tomorrow is gonna be play mostly exploitatively and leave if the game and action is not up to par. but wow what a total botch today. I can be back though poker is still alive an well and most people including me have glaring holes in their games still so money can still be made. Also another factor is I think I'm over doing the running and need to let my body recover more because I'm pretty beat up right now. but really really fit.

Thank you that message brightened my morning then I made 2 perfect plays at mgm against tight super reg and MGM first getting a chance to attempt to rectify a mistake from last night and 4 betting a wider range to try to expand my comfort zone and become better. I raise 7 As10s utg folds to BB he re raise 22 i think his range is narrower from the blind in a heads up configuration and he has 80 total so I shove as a semi bluff against lower pairs and for value against a5 suited or 67 89 hands. He folds Jacks and says I know you had Queens plus lol. So trying something new worked! unfortunately then I lost 3 more hands one where I was facing suspicious action raising on a dry flop where it didn't make sense but villain rivered me lucky for him and another 3 way hand where it was checking around both streets and villain checked out of turn when he was last to act on turn lol thats a funny sentence so I sensed weakness and aggro pounced again and he called a sizable bet on river my hand 10d7d did not connect in any meaningful way on the board qc5s2c2s4h so that should have just been a fold my bad. So I lost 125 but I needed to kill a few hours before leaving for Phoenix. And let me just say the average stack was 200 max and every pot was limped/ no action it was terrible game. A recurring trend I've been seeing more frequently in the games I've been playing in in Vegas. I tank shove my logic being that I found out firsthand last night people will call flop shoves with anything and so one person does the other folds kq turn 8 river 8 and we scoop and up 705 and after 10 min of play. Then I stuck around to not hit and run and I folded a couple winning hands due to winner's tilt and not wanting to repeat past patterns of donating. I'm still working on resetting completely after every session. But over all great start and happy to be in Phoenix.

made 414$ Running really well and good action at Talking Stick. Folded hands I shouldn't have still doing from being traumatized from losing streak still but happy to book win. I'm thinking he could have more bluffs for that sizing such as combo draws and I wanna charge the max price so I jam 300+ on top he calls with J9 and we hold. yes he could have also had 99 or jj but it would be more likely to 3 bet those holding so if they have god bless their soul. nice almost 800$ pot. I played B+ cause all three aggro bluffs I make didn't work when villains hit two outters on turn I tried repping. So dialing back aggression still needs to be worked on but overall great day in Phoenix.

made 191 In a reg filled slow day at Talking Stick only played 4 hours tho and I always try to find ways to crack the toughest games so I'm proud of myself for winning where most broke even/ lost or lost after rake. Aces 4 times and not paid off once! Won some small pots made a few bad bluffs towards the end as fatigue set on. Also being feeling more comfortable and in tune with poker than I ever have been.

Virtually Identical. Lost 247 at Talking stick playing 2/3 after a really long 8 hour session. Guess I had to lose here at some point now 6-1. Thing is there was this guy the one guy at the table that made it even worth playing cause it was pretty dry. And I wasn't fully warmed up. I've noticed the more I play the longer it takes to warm-up It could 2+ hours honestly. He was talking a lot and saying things that didn't make sense poker wise so it was clear he wasn't a frequent player. Also swinging a lot and I do like volatility in games. But His 55 crack my KK which should happen 20% of the time. I should have left when up 110 the thought even occurred to me. Instead I had to go through a marathon and display my resolve in digging out of a 1000$ downswing to only be down 247$. I only made one bad play during that time I felt but it was for a 600$ pot so not good. EP raises 20 LP calls. I'm on Btn with 9c7s call. Flop 9h6d6c I check Ep goes 20 LP calls I CR to 80 as I can have all the 6's and 9's but EP calls LP gets out the way, i shove now 200 on turn on a 10s and he unfortunately calls with Aces. I could have avoided that spot but I ran so bad earlier I was a little tilted. So My strategy for next time is get up a take a walk. I just forgot what it felt like to run bad. I have to manually resize every image on my phone now to compress the file size. So here's one from my 19 mile hike yesterday. I've been trying to adopt more and more of Bryan Johnson's protocols for optimum health. Like having your last meal earlier in the day. And eating a **** ton of broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, lentils etc etc.. I feel great. did a 19 mile hike didn't eat, got sun burnt to ****, truly felt like I was alone in the desert with just my will survive at one point. It was an enlightening and empowering experience. I felt so much pain after I did it with a cold too so it was extra uncomfortable. I felt true thirst hunger and tiredness. Which is rare in our society of convenience. Slept like an angel and found a bunch of immunity products at Whole Foods, I could live at that place! In Fact the only reason I would seek out a partner is to be able move to this Great Country America. It's so much better than Canada with it's hyper inflation. The Canadian economy is not so hot either right now. Also 6 months of cold and darkness that literally damages your DNA. I need to meet someone here. Anyways today I was bi-winning I won first at Talking stick 447 then went to Desert Diamond and won 162 both with drastically different play styles that suited the table dynamics accordingly. 900$ pot at talking stick after 4 bet shoving aces and getting called by queens, and 3 bet bluffing in pos at Desert Diamond a with a few hands and taking it down with larger c-bets against weaker players. Playing against softer competition is nice which was not the case at talking stick today I had to wait 4 hours for aces basically.
