thanks mate. i don't think i'll ever quit 200 6m while it's so profitable. Seems unwise when i can win pretty much variance free money there consistently. Will definitely play more 400 overall, but stick with 200 as my bread and butter game.

thank you! happy new years. how's the live grind going? You still in london?

---

Had a great new years last night. Charlotte and i went to Somerset house in london and went ice skating, followed by champagne and fireworks. Then went to a house party which was great fun! Was a pretty fancy NY compared to most NY, where we find ourselves in some grimey club...

So i started up a session today totally forgetting about this 1 week strike. I just have no idea why i should be doing it as it doesn't feel like stars are going to revert any changes. Is it scummy of me to not go through with it? Also i read the OP and it said they're intending on doing another one for 10 days in february... I mean, it just seems totally mental to keep doing these strikes. I may be being short-sighted here, so please tell me if i am. I just can't really afford to take off so much time when i already have minimal grind time as it is. Ofc i can play other sites short term but there's the whole debacle of getting my hem set up, sorting out good rb deals and noting all the regs etc. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers!

I also too keep changing my mind. I really feel strikes arnt going to achieve much but "ethically/moral" or whatever you want to call it then prob should. Arnt you planning on going into fulltime employment soon? With your job and everything? Seems best to just play whatever gives you highest EV tbf...and if that's then playing on stars then nobody can really call you scummy for it (even though you'll get some NVG user probably giving you like they did with million folds)

(Although seems a bit silly If you was only going to strike if they only did it January? Wtf why was you thinking about doing it for? Stars would just go 'OK they're coming back in 7 days...who cares')

Regardless of what you decide. It is not scummy or unethical or what ever title some random will give it. It just is not.

Do what is best for you, like pretty much everyone else does.

Also awesome year mate. Super awesome.

you make some good points, particularly with your last one. I think that what i'm realising is that i'm striking cus everyone else is, and not really thinking about myself in all of this.

cheers boss! yep you're right. I'm gunna do what is best for me, and that's to continue to play through the strikes. I don't feel great about it, but as i said to burns, i gotta be striking for the right reasons and tbh, i don't feel that stars are going to revert any of the changes. If they do, then i guess i'll have been very very wrong!

99 flop fine, turn can go both ways but checking is good. If you think he vbets KK+ on that river, then it's a fold. It's also debatable whether he gets to that spot with 7x. 87s 67s both have an open ender OTT, but checking with pair + draw is tempting.

wrt. Macbooks, are you sure about the small 11" screen?
