Shifty, thanks so much for taking the time to look into that spot in depth, even though the ranges may be slightly off i can actually see a LOT of sense in the analysis you/pokerstove gave. It's so so hard to find any pure bluffs that he has and he doesn't always value shoves AQ otr so we find ourselves in a pretty thin spot. I would definitely be interested in running this through crEV myself and see what i come up with too. Thanks again man.

Ty spew, hope things are going good mate! Maybe you can help with the crEV stuff

---

Made decent money today but played no where near as much as i had planned. My HDD completely filled up (i have to vacuum my db every 2 days but i had forgotten to do it) and my pc crashed mid session. It meant the vacuum took AGES like 2 hours (usually takes 15 mins) so i ended up going and chilling in clapham common playing cards and enjoying the sun...

My pleasure, I need the practice . Since I do a poor job of marking tricky spots during my play, I like analyzing other people's hands. I'll probably throw them in here when I see a spot that I'm unsure about if you don't mind.

GL with the big grind tomorrow!

Yeah, as you've discovered you actually need a decent overhead of space to do any database maintenance in HM2 (or whatever). I seem to recall that there may actually be a decent risk of corrupting your db if you don't have the headroom, so watch out for that.

Additionally, if this is on an SSD (surely it is?) you need to keep up to 20% of space free anyway. If it's full and you can get it back down to 80% you should notice a substantial performance increase.

          Hey Bena,

Not read the whole thread but read the last past and going to jump in here. I saw in another thread that you live in Clapham, I live in Clapham North

SSDs are so cheap, you really should just buy one.

Yeah, I've become a bit of a computer boss since getting notecaddy and how many issues i have with it constantly. This time it simply slipped my mind and i paid the price. Yeah it's an SSD of course!

So the big grind was certainly big in terms of volume but not quite the same in profits. I am soooo pleased to have got unstuck ($140 down counts as b/e when stuck nearly 2!) Got stacked twice at 1k today and lost another bunch of pots there too. It's really destroying me so far...

Just gotta get used to it i guess. Still feel unbelievably uncomfortable at 1k. I had jesus on a ridiculous fish too, he was absolutely abysmal and ended up moving to 2k 6m unfortunately.

Spent all day doing various family affairs, birthdays, fathers day etc. Driven about 7 hours today and absolutely dead. Tomorrow is gunna be a short day grinding wise, visiting a relative in hospital and got a ton of other stuff to do. Sure I can provide a variance fuelled graph still though

Kinda ridiculous session today. Games were sooo bad but i happened to get stacked 3 times in quick succession and then miracle a MASSIVE pot (biggest all year) to get unstuck.

Stacked by good reg. I'm actually pretty lost as to what to do ott. Check call seems good, bet fold seems kinda out the question but bet call feels horrendous too. Upon reflection check call is probably my best line(?)

Another losing day. Definitely played A game today and had no tilt issues although it was soooo hot in the flat today that it definitely was harder to concentrate. Apparently it's gunna be up to 31 degrees next week so that'll be an interesting test

I've booked in some coaching with someone i chat to regularly and had a session with them today. Really feel that he can offer me so much in terms of theoretical understanding and it's a breath of fresh air to try coaching while i'm winning instead of in a sick downswing! Another aspect of his help plus a lot of the mental game stuff that i practice (and kinda try and teach) is that checking my results so frequently does nothing for me in the short term. Whilst this is true i have tried and failed many times when it comes to not checking results, particualry when it comes to posting my daily graphs in here. What i'm going to try and do is weekly graph updates, but continue posting HH every day. That way i can post hands without checking results (take out the winning/bb per 100 tab) but maintain activity in the thread.

Well we'll give it a go, but tbh i wouldn't be at all surprised if i've checked my graph again by tomorrow

So last night was a lot of fun and we were able to turn a decent profit. There was a 2/5 game running but one of the guys i was with told me it was just all regs. I got on the list anyway and waited whilst playing a 1/3 game. By about mid way through the night we were playing 6 handed and straddling every hand so it was playing like 3/6. To start with the game was 7 handed with 2 fish and 4 awful regs. By awful i mean guys that couldn't beat 10nl online over decent sample. To be honest there were very very few interesting pots, just a few bluff squeezes that all got through and a couple other standard pots. There was one big pot too though.

                                                  First average hand:

How long is that massage? 30 quid for a massage seems like a sick hourly. Maybe I should giving out massages at casinos. I have very soft hands.
