Thanks for the support mate. There was a big whale in the sb and a regular fish in the bb so felt flatting would be good.

Trying something a little different for a few days. Playing 9 tables and taking my sweet time with every decision to look through stats. Hopefully this will prevent any silly play. Will see how it goes for a few days then post results. gl

BTW, if you continue to play poker as well as FIFA, you should probably looking for another profession.

Hi guys, feels like ages since i posted! So i've stuck to the plan of lowering my tables to give me more time to look at stats etc. I've also been playing a lot more 6m which i've been enjoying a lot. As we know i lost like 2500 the first couple days of the month but since then things have been going a lot better.

Results so far for the month:

Had a really great weekend too. It was coinflip_si's bithday on thursday so we went out for a nice meal. On friday we went to this thing called Clue Quest. It's voted number one best thing to do in London and it really lived up to that rating. There were 10 of us, 2 teams of 5 and you are put into a room and have to work out how to get out. I don't wanna give too much away as i seriously recommend anyone to do it but you have a series of games and have to find keys to open padlocks and solve problems. It's one of the funnest things i've done in london so if you're around this area definitely check it out!

Also a new Alt-j song has come out and i think it's absolutely awesome. Listened to it about 50 times already. Hope you like it. Turn it up!

Also got the official video for our bubble football day. Not sure about the editing

In the midst of making my new video for card runners, but my headset broke so it's been slightly delayed before i can finish it. Hopefully it'll be uploaded soon. Lastly, we drew our footie match last week 4-4 and are in the final again! (4 out of 4 finals for us now) The only problem is that our 2 best players, smb and our mate grosser can't play next week... We're pretty much gunna lose but the miracle is still alive.

Pretty much what woolly said tbh. If you consider the hands that I'm going to call down with to a flop raise and barrel off, it pretty much only looks like sets and KT. I certainly wouldn't be calling down with AK and would be highly likely to fold AJ at some point.

There are others in London under different names but clue quest is London only I'm pretty sure. Ill keep an eye out and hit you up if I find anything.

              ---

Also I forgot to mention in my last post that I've been asked to go on the Sky Poker channel live on television...! Ill be there as a poker analyst with a presenter and 'poker pro'. Have no idea if the pro is actually a pro though. Ill be live on tv for around 2 hours analysing hands that were played on the site, either a cash game or tourney. Sounds like it'll be a laugh and nothing too serious. Would also be cool to make myself more well known in the live poker scene. It won't be for a couple months but it's certainly exciting!

Yeah but if villain is aggro, couldnt he be playing JT/KJ of diamonds the same way(for a pair+gutter+Nut FD)?
I mean isnt his button cold calling range leaning heavily towards those kind of hands?

Iirc he's a 15/9. Yeh he certainly can have those hands on the flop and turn but imo never shoves river with those bluffs

As expected, we unfortunately lost the final 8-4. We were 5-1 down and came back to 5-4 but then collapsed and got destroyed.

Also my 3rd cardrunners video will be live sometime soon so keep an eye out for that. glgl

                Monthly update.

Hi guys, been a week since i last posted and i promise i'm gunna get back to posting every other day! Been really really busy with counselling work and social stuff like my gf and I 6 year anniversary! (See below) In terms of college, i've started a new part time course and the work is really full on. Not only have i got to do concise weekly journals on class/client work, but i also need to start having personal therapy too. Should be an interesting journey! Turns out that i'm going to be at my placement on mondays and wednesdays so those days will be half day max for poker. I then have a full day of study on a friday. Throw in a day off to hang out with gf and mates and i only have 3 full days to play poker... Seems like very little but have realised i can easily get my hours in on those days so shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Last weekend i went to Bath for a day and a night for our anniversary. We stayed in a sick hotel. (photo below) We then went to Bath spa for the sunday and just hung out in steam rooms/swimming pools. Was so so relaxing. If you live near by but haven't been i definitely recommend doing so!

In terms of results, this is the past week.

Extremely happy with how i'm playing atm, and am playing a lot more 6max too. Feels great to be finally comfortable there. It certainly isn't as scary as i thought it was going to be
