Cracking stuff, been lurking along all year. Impressive being able to juggle the varying responsibilities.
This year I've been trying to be more productive and utilise my time more effectively, currently carving out a career in football, learning a new game (PLO) and keeping my crypto portfolio balanced.
I definitely use this thread as inspiration to keep all the plates spinning as well as I can.
Thanks for the regular updates and good luck in 2018!

I've been making a conscious effort to send out a quick message when I feel someone has been helpful/interesting etc. Whether it's 2+2, twitter, discord or wherever.
So thanks again for all the time you put into the thread!
How is the crypto portfolio looking?
Are you just in the larger stuff, or picked up any smaller coins/tokens?
Biggest lurker in history subscribing. Well done on last year. Really inspiring PCG.

you too man, gl in 2018
Proper football, although I have to call it soccer now! I'm from England originally but poker took me on a random trip to Canada 5 years ago and have been here on and off for 5 years now.

Crypto has gone very well so far. Think im like up 50% on my original investment. I own about 16 currencies in total - BTC LTC ETH and then 13 alt coins. Any advice for me?!
Thank you, I'm glad you're able to take something away from the thread!

My portfolio is pretty simple. I weight my portfolio towards volume weighted market cap and I readjust roughly every week.
So atm the bulk of the portfolio looks like this:
BTC 39%
XRP 18%
ETH 15%
BCH 6%
ADA 5%
(Weight being percentage of portfolio by VWMC)
I don't follow rigidly, but keep things loosely near those figures.
For example, i'm looking for a partial exit from ripple soon. Once it gets released on coinbase, i'll be hoping for a pump then offloading a chunk. I don't think the project is particularly good overall.
Then for smaller investments, I check the team, roadmap and whitepaper. Then punt some smaller amounts into the projects I like the look of.
Currently, I like:
BAT
STRAT
GNT
OMG
KMD
QTUM
Late congrats on your epic year mate! Incredibly work in 2017!
Used to be a winger but play centre mid mostly now. My high-level playing days are mostly over. I work as a director at a club, strategic development, coach education and curriculum building mainly.

We'll see what happens, up infinite from the first buy so have a few potential exits points that i'll reassess when the time comes.
If anyone has any solid advice to the contrary, let me know!

It's my biggest gamble so far for sure. Banking on coinbase continuing to be a bit shady and putting some new coins in after denying they have any coins coming.

Coinbase, major company looking to adhere to regulation, who just had an absolute **** show with BCH with huge accusations of insider trading with tons of accumulation in the build up to the announcement of it, are unlikely to publicly deny they are adding Ripple, and then add Ripple. Sell.
There is a lot of (potentially misguided) public support for adding it.
The coinbase blog only says they have not officially announced they are adding Ripple, not that they won't be adding it at all.
"As of the date of this statement, we have made no decision to add additional assets to either GDAX or Coinbase"
Like I said previously, it's a gamble but i'm going to hold in the short term at least.
Been a while since I checked this thread. Congrats on 2017 Ben - great results (50nl confirmed unbeatable tho). When poker finally dies we’ll know where all the money went. Best of luck for 2018.
