yeah iv hear what you're saying lux. Unfortunately living in such an expensive part of the world, money is a pretty vital part to maintaining my lifestyle.
Poker does make me happy though fwiw, i love the game, but yeah it's not something that'll solely fullfill me long term

thanks a lot boss! haha yeah, if it's a matter of months then get grinding! I know what you mean though, the stress for a lot of people is really unappealing, even for a potential salary increase.

Played around B- game yesterday but i absolutely A gamed the hell out of today. Even when i was getting totally crushed (-5k) my decision making/making super disciplined folds were on point. Luckily i found some heat/unreal donations to get out. Hands incoming. Here are the past 2 sessions
Preflop: Hero is SB with J 8
2 folds, Hero raises to $15, BB raises to $50, Hero calls $35
Flop: ($100) 6 4 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $40, Hero raises to $108.90, BB raises to $1,360.14 and is all-in, Hero calls $385.29 and is all-in
Turn: ($1,088.38) T (2 players, 2 are all-in) River: ($1,088.38) 5 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $1,088.38 pot ($1.50 rake)
Final Board: 6 4 7 T 5
Hero showed J 8 and won $1,086.88 ($542.69 net)
BB showed 4 A and lost (-$544.19 net)
Down several k still this month. Playing and feeling good.
The plan for the week is to grind tomorrow, tuesday clients, wednesday uni and then GUKPT £2100 event on thursday, which btw if you're playing, hit me up. Then grind through the weekend. I'm thinking bout taking most of the following week to write up 3 essays. I wanna try free up most of december so i can grind hard when the games get juicy.
Just registered to the timbey. There are very few players so far and my table looks kinda rot. I'm on the 'tv table' but not sure if it's actually being aired anywhere. Will update in the breaks
Nothing of interest first level. Bout 1.5k brow starting stack. Only notable is the guy next to me is mouthy as hell and I regret my decision massively haha
Just above starting stack at dinner break. Playing unbelievably focussed. But that's probably cus the dude next to me is shouting about hookers and coke and I have my music on full blast
Turned on that stream for less than 1 min and got insanely tilted watching these clowns rotting it whilst thinking they are otb, and listening to a couple of level 10 clowns commentating. glgl ben
