No worries Bena.
I've made some questionable plays vs you so I'd be surprised if you put me in a better category. Rating regs is very subjective. For example I very much disagree with your top regs list you posted before. But hey when it comes down to it it's about making money not getting into any reg lists. See you at the tables and gl gl!

Thanks for your time today Ben; much appreciated, even if my session was the dullest 1/2 hour in online poker history in terms of spots. Still got lots of valuable info from the general discussion and good to know I'm not doing anything obviously terrible.

Hope you run like the sun mate, GL.

So May is over and it's been a quality month. Not only in terms of profit, but been feeling great about my game and full of confidence. Fully adjusting to 600nl is still going to take some time as i'm still very conscious of the money that i'm winning or losing and therefore it's been harder to bluff/call down for stacks. However, I feel totally fine at nl400 now which is great. Other stuff that has been going on is working with my client which has been a massive learning curve. I'm absolutely loving it, but at times it can be really hard hearing some things they say. I'll be starting in my school tomorrow so will be able to update on that side of things later on in the week. Really looking forward to it and it's going to be superrr weird going back into a school environment!

So, results. Volume again has been relatively low at ~54k hands, but my hours were up to 101 hours which is right about where i wanted for the month. Also got ~34k vpps which is really good. Seem to have heatered 400nl pretty damn hard which is always nice when moving up. As for 200nl, 10bb seems pretty high but it's been nearly that high all year so who knows...

not sure what golden is, i meant you break and pot, then pot all the balls of the colour you choose and the black in one visit so your opponent doesn't get a single shot. e.g. you break and pot a red, you then pot all reds and the black in 1 visit.

if you've done that 4 or 5 times already im going to quit pool.

Haha yeh that is a golden and yep, have done it 4 or 5 times. We have a pool table in the house, so we play sooooo many games. Variance prob suggests that a fish will get a golden every so often
Mastering Mental Game and Mental Health Quote
      06-01-2014 , 04:34 PM
haha maybe, im going to blame the fact the table i play on isnt level and also that i use to spend 99% of my games refusing pots and playing a snooker or a safety shot (league pool can be gay like this).

i assume you play very aggressive pool tho which ive only just started to, makes the game a lot more fun imo but probably leads to more goldens if youre always taking on pots instead of safetys/snookers

      /pool derail
