haha, so much between you two!

Another grim day. I'm just losing all the biggest all ins at my highest stakes at the moment. I'd say for the most part it's been out of my control, and i feel im maintaining a high level of play.

Going to a pottery class tomorrow that i bought my gf for her birthday. Actually looking forward to it a lot!

Month is closing in on -5k so hopefully i can turn start to turn things around. What i have learnt from many downswings, pushing it will only result in losing more so i'm just gunna keep playing as well as i know i can and wait for it to pass. I'll ofc move down if i lose another 5-10k but i'll cross that bridge if i come to it. Still only a 10bi downswing kinda puts things in perspective!

      ---

Had a great day today both on and off the tables. The pottery was so so good, using a throwing wheel like the gif above to make various sized pots or bowls. It was a class of 5 and my gf and i bossed the class Will be able to collect the finished results in a few weeks!

The games were also great tonight and i had a really solid day

I Assume since we are poker players and devote loads on time in front of a pc neglecting our gfs/wifes , we need to do things to make our girl happy on our free time. Not sure if you went to pottery class due to the reasons stated but a smart man would do that.
Its tough for us to find a girl that is understanding as about poker ,so when we do we realy should been trying to keep her as happy as we can.

Ps: i wouldnt do pottery class though

              ---

Had a very busy couple days and was really pumped to grind. Unfortunately that was short lived as i went back to getting ruined every pot. I felt i played about B+ game overall. Had a few really good regs laying into me hard at 600 and 1k which was really difficult to adjust to. Have barely played 200nl so obviously the variance and monetary swings will naturally be higher.

If i catch myself getting angry at myself or hands i'm going to force myself to quit for a few minutes to clear my head. Also going to play no more than 9 tables all day. Got a ton of hands i wanna review tomorrow too.

I feel QQ would probably be better in ev when you bet twice(like smaller sizing considering the trend these days) or check flop and go from there.

as played, we block AQ and he certainly can jam all of his Ax, with him having limited combo of A2/A5s(obv quads) when we don't block any hearts, think we could find a call at some frequencies that is less than 50%. Again it's a spot that we shouldn't expect reg to be over bluffing or value shoving super thin.

thanks for your thoughts mate. As you've stated, there are kinda arguments for both calling and folding. I do think that considering a turn bet would have some merit too. Hope to look at this in more detail tomorrow!

This was vs a reg with little history. Thoughts would be really helpful - flop sizing, what to do vs the raise and turn play please!

The main merit is to protect our hand vs draws and to also prevent exactly what happened from happening! I ended up calling the river and got shown AJcc unsurprisingly
