Its been a while since my last update. Ive been grinding just as hard as before. Regretably, i played 400nl when I saw a big fish sitting. That accounts for my last downswing in the EV line. It was only for about 100 hands. Either way, Im back to 200nl, and very close to being legit able to play 400nl following my own rules. Im on a EV heater and feel really confident/great about poker right now.

hi man, really cool post, i'm following you with great interest.

can you elaborate on all the game types/formats you are playing in? i saw you mentioned 6max sng's/ring but what else? for instance, do you play in fifty50 sng's on stars?

what's the time division during your workday? did you set to yourself a certain daily work plan or do you choose the format according to what seems right at any given period?

also, as part of your brm rules, do you have a cap of bi's you are "permitted" to lose in a day of work?

thank and KEEP LIVING THE DREAM BRO!

Awesome, glad to hear your interested. Im only playing cash games. I think what I said about sngs was that when I first started poker I played them. Now i only play cash games. When I was playing 100nl I played more HU. Now that im at 200nl, theres a bit less HU action, and ive just been grinding 6max.

As far as workday, I kind of just grind as many hours as i can, and take as few breaks as I can. I have no BI stoploss. A few days ago I was down 2200 at one point I think. Its all one long session anyways

Did you shove here just because hes repping a very narrow value range and you think hes capable of folding overpairs or is there more to it?
What stakes did you used to grind btw?

I shoved because I have almost no bluffs in my range when I jam. The flop was rainbow. The only draw (the backdoor flushdraw on the turn) got there. By the river if he had AA, it would only be a bluff catcher, and he should know that the vast majority of regs are turning hands into bluffs on the river to make calling with AA proffitable.

So tonight i hit $20,000 . That means im going to take a break for a few hours then give 400nl a shot. Ill be moving back to 200nl if my bankroll drops to $18,000. To start 400nl ill be careful about what games I play and how many tables I play. Here is all hands so far. Weve now been going for 18 days and almost 100k hands.

man if you really played HSNL on FTP for 2 years I wonder who you are.. certainly you seem to be tearing up the SSNL/MSNL so far.. there's no way you can move up and increase your roll this fast if you weren't a highly skilled player to begin with.. I really like some of the hands you've posted, seems like despite playing with a limited roll right now compared to what you used to have online, you don't lack courage to make sick calls based on reads.. I think this can only make plays for eg. attempt to bluff you less because they think you handread well, which in turn obviously makes them easier to play against for you.

From what i can tell, im quite new to the "rakeback" graph, is it how much you paid in rakeback, or earned in rakeback? Im guessing its what your paid right?

W/E, how much have you earned from your rakeback deals? Or is is included to your winnings? Dont hate on me if im wrong or anything, btw, love your tread, inspiring and makes me wanna grind aswell

rakeback, as the name implies, is the amout you get back from the rake you've paid, so the blue lines = winnings + rakeback.

Probubly. More than anything he was just a fishy/obvious player who called too many flop bets so he had a lot of hands like the one he did by the river (busted clubs and straight draws). If i called and was wrong id expect to see TT 99 or 8x. Jx probubly bets turn and i dont think hes good enough to value bet a 6. With the amount of bluff combos vs the amount of value combos, and only needing to be right with a call under 33% i think call is best.
