Yeah well, what can you do. 2nd worst day ever lol. Lasted two hours... oh well
200z graph for this month
-9 bi in EV, not too sure what happened. Couldn't get anything going there, especially vs fish. Kind of sucks since I used to be a steady winner there, and over the last 4 months, it's been really swingy; either I sun run or run like **** and can't buy a winning session.
Just checked my graph of 200z since I moved up last summer and it's 2.75bb/100 over 600k hands. I mean, it's fine, but it def could be higher. I mean, last year, at that same time, never would I have imagined that I would be a near 3bb/100 winner at 200z, so I shouldn't be annoyed by that.
Being a winner at 200z in 2017 is cool.
500z graph for this month
My first ever winning graph at 500z 23bi in EV
Too bad I had that -4k day at the end... Without it, I would of had a 15k ev month at 500z...
Still, can't complain about an almost 5 digit EV month both stakes combined.
So yeah, 500z is nice. Would like to stick there. We'll see how this goes. Never been good at playing more than one stake at once; I get confused in river spots because of pool tendencies and such. Also, it's a nightmare for sizings.
Now, for real life...
I used to read tons of books when I was a kid but for some reason, I stopped reading novels when I started uni.
I have an urging need to read novels when I'm on vacation or travelling, but when I'm at home, for whatever reason, I never feel like it.
Last summer, I made a promise to myself that I would start reading again daily. So yeah, I've been reading novels, but also some self-help books explaining how to grow and be happy with your life. My friends are also big Tom Bilyeu and Tony Robbins fans so I get to hear what they learn through Inside Quest and other videos.
So yeah, I'll also be talking about the books I've been reading and if you guys have any suggestions, lmk.
The other day, I finished reading "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath. It was quite good tbh, for someone who is way more famous for her poems. She committed suicide not so long after writing it, so it's a quite interesting read since the main character is a copy of the author irl.
Since then, I started reading "Under the Eagle" by Simon Scarrow, one of my favorite authors. Basically, it's a story that takes place during the Roman Emperor and you follow a centurion and an optio (second in command) through their lives in the army.
My top 5 books of all time
1 - "Thirteen Reasons Why" by Jay Asher
This book is amazing, and my all time favorite. They are adapting it for Netflix too.
Story is about a girl who commits suicide, but leaves an explanation for it through 13 recorded tapes. Each tape is associated to a person which pushed her down that road. Each of the 13 persons get to listen to the tapes and understand why she did it.
Hey, I'd like too, but I'm generally not checking results for the whole month, so can't post graphs really until the end of April.
I only check if I know I've had a really bad day like the one where I posted my -4k day lol...
However, I can update on my real life.
Currently working w fellow RIO mtt coach and friend on cash game strat, especially for bvb purposes.
I'm not that big on studying, so having someone who is into it really helps.
My normal studying usually consists of:
- checking RIO vids
- Tweeking my ranges
- Talking/going over hhs w fellow 200z regs/friends
- Looking at my database for any leaks, especially by position
- Recording sessions I play, and talking to myself while playing (as if producing a teaching vid for a poker site), and then reviewing my play. I share the vids w my best poker friends so I can have their intel on some spots.
- Not really studying, but checking the replayer and the biggest pots played at the stakes I play and taking notes on the regs.
Other than that, my usual week consists of 5 trips to the gym, 2 hours of tennis, soccer/football once a week, and usually get to see my family once or twice every week too.
One or two nights a week are spend w friends, mostly to play board games such as Coup and Avalon.
Willing to answer other questions if you have any.
Picture of me and a couple buddies when we went bowling. I'm the second one from the left.
I'll be going on a trip towards the end of Spring. I'll update more on that in the upcoming weeks I guess.
1) Does your MDMA addiction affect your ability to be a professional poker player?
2) Throughout Harry Potter did you think Snape was gonna end up a goody or a baddy?
3) What's your shoe size?
4) You get to **** Ariana Grande three times a week for the rest of your life OR win the WSOP Main Event. Which do you choose?

Knowing OP a bit he probably doesnt know what WSOP Main Event is, when reviewing the other day wilhasha jumped into the 500z pool and he considered him to be an unknown (and basically any other HS reg that jumps in) Pretty much doesnt know anything about the poker world other than his current stakes and regular opponents
Hey cool, thanks for the suggestion. Have you read the second book of the series too?
Strong reviews all over; will check it out.
almost done reading it, like 50 pages left out of 1000 something, going to have to sadly wait for the release of the 3rd book :P
apparently there is going to be a tv show based on his books, no idea when but I'm going to be pretty hyped if they can make it as good as game of thrones

Are we doing Q and A lol? The Well: Princess Elsa lol
1) It can get pretty hard grinding while being constantly "under the influence", so yeah, it definitely affected me to some degree throughout my poker journey.
Doesn't help that 3/4 of my friends are junkies and/or incarcerated. That's just how it is from where I'm from...
2) Meh. I mean, Snape is cool and all. Tbh, I'm a fan of dark endings so when I thought he had "betrayed" Dumbledore, I was actually happy/thrilled.
Like take for example Star Wars, how awesome was EP3 when Anakin turned to the Dark Side??
The evil guys are more often than not the best characters. They are either super cool (Darth Maul) or have ridic story/great depth (Kylo Ren). I still like some good guys like Luke and Ben Kenobi, but yeah, usually the dark characters are much more complex and intriguing.
As for Harry Potter, big fan of all the Death Eaters and their background stories, how they got to serve the Dark lord and all. Most intriguing "good" characters in HP are probably Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood; Sirius and Lupin are fine too.
3) 43 in Euro I think
4) Had to google what Ariana looks like lol. Euhm, yeah she okay but I have a dozen of other names I'd like to sleep with before her. Would have probably been a lot harder if you add say Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman or Penelope Cruz. Also, always had a thing for Vanessa Rousso...
In regards to the question, I'd take the "fame" and the money over the weekly Ariana Grande bangs lol.

You can probably ask me about any reg that has played 50z through 200z in the last three years, and I'd a have a read/comment about him. Ask me about HS players and aside from like OTB... pretty clueless lol. However, I've been following the HS thread now in NVG; gotta fix those leaks lol.

Sounds cool. Haven't read " A Song of Ice and Fire", but as everything that his put from book to screen, it's usually a lesser version of it.
GOT is over hyped; still a v good show, don't get me wrong. Just think it's not THAT good of a show as people make it seem it is.
As for poker, I think month is going meh.
Not catching any heat atm; haven't checked results or anything, but that's my feeling after these first couple of sessions.
Ohh well, will just have to work harder and push through the variance.
Not a big fan of rap music usually, but this played one evening at our house while playing board games. Love it, girding gear!!!!
Fcuk me. You're an inspiration, although I'm not reading your hands anymore, I've started going to town at 25z as well cos of you, but people are stationing way too much lol. Good luck with 500z, surely you can crush it - I know it, you know it, and 500z pool are pooping themselves that you're at the door. GOGOGOGO!!!
