Hi there,

made a thread last year where I wanted to make ~700k VPPS in 3 months which ended in a failure.
So time to make things right .
I'll skip on the bio and get right to the goals but I'll tell you that I recently got 27, am from germany an my sn on stars is rdmr fwiw.

Primary Goals:
- Make 50K+ by the end of the year
- Stick to ****ing BRM
- Finish Marathon
- Buy a ZL1

Secondary Goal:
- Achieve SNE
- Become a 2/4+ PLO reg

As a precaution I put SNE as a secondary goal this time.
Currently I'm stuck at .1/.25 & .25/.5, so the 1st Goal is to get back to
.5/1 asap, which should be after I finished the next FPP bonus.

Marathon:

Started running a few months ago (taking it more seriously).
Planning on doing my first marathon in october 13th in cologne.
The goal will be to reach the finish line .

ZL1:

The last primary goal is to buy a Camaro ZL1.
Ever since watching 'God Bless America' I can't forget about this car .
They were using the LT version in it, tho the appearances are kinda similar with the ZL1 looking even better! .

I really dislike the idea of 'moving up' so early. According to the results you posted, you make $6/100 (AIEV post-RB) at PLO100 and merely $8/100 at PLO200. I don't approve of taking the risk of twice higher swings for a $2/100 gain, especially because you might be underskilled for PLO200 - a 'bottleneck' for many regs - or maybe just ran bad in 3-bet pots there, but I can't believe in the latter without evidence.

Given this distribution of winrates across stakes, I'd stay at PLO100 as the main game whenever the roll is $1000-4000 (which doesn't exclude bumhunting. but I can't imagine how it can affect profits dramatically with 40 bb ). If you get above $4000 (gl!), probably start playing 100 bb PLO (50, bumhunting at 100) - that will facilitate learning.

Don't play PLO400 at all until you get massive coaching (which will eat a chunk of the roll) - it's clear that you were confidently losing post-RB there.

Alas, this will mean no SNE this year, but it's hard to enjoy the benefits of SNE if bust, plus the difference between it and 5x SN is quite thin in terms of bb/100 at the midstakes, the edge can be gained by being more skilled and/or disciplined (less tilty) instead. (Don't forget that e.g. GoGetaRealJob is a SN, which doesn't stop him from crushing the midstakes.) The milestone bonus doesn't affect game selection at all.

I appreciate your input but I think you're underestimating my abilities.
Sure I could run terrible again (as I did at 400) and have to move down but that's ok.
The low limits will still be there to rebuild, so I won't actually go broke as you mentioned.

I posted a screen with the top10 volume grinders all losing pre rb at PLO200.
My aiev is positive while 70-80% was shortstacking -> lower winrate.
The sample is still small but at the minimum it can't be used as evidence for being underskilled imho...

I've put quite some time into my game so I don't expect some skillboost to come out of nowhere .

OK I get it... I have to set daily goals for better motivation+discipline!
So tomorrow's goal is gonna be 12 hours of play OR 10k hands minimum.

Making some plans for next month to massgrind .5/1 like a psycho and give up on a lot of tableselection, just have to figure out how much exactly
so it won't become -ev in the end and also get the roll a bit healthier.

Plan is to grind out .1/.25 & .25/.5 for the rest of the month and have the
roll at 5k at the start of next month (cash out anything above it).

From then on most action will be at .5/1 and I'll try to have 12+ tables of it most of
the time if possible, rest will be filled with .25/.5 and if things go well I'll fill up with
1/2 instead. Might also look into zoom as well but have to see when it's time .

So here's the result since making this thread:




Combined with unfinished bonuses the roll would be around 6.2k atm.
I'll be cashing out 1.2k as soon as I'm done with the FPP bonus since 5k roll was in the plan.

So from tomorrow on at least half the action will be @ .5/1 and the rest at .25/.5. until the roll (hopefully) has grown, then I'll be mixing in 1/2 instead.
Might also mix in Zoom (if i get the hud to work...).

Other than that I will have to manage my time very well (one of my biggest leaks).
I'm used to 90 min sessions and usually had too long breakes between them.
Also I suck with the table ratio which is sitting at 11 on avg...
I will have to up that to well above 16 (which was my record since making the thread).
I can play 18 tables quite comfortably but having to leave/join tables constantly reduces the avg a lot.

I'll be installing a fresh win7 on my new ssd that I bought today since my old one started lagging recently with all the bs that's on it.
Figured it was less of a stress than looking for all the stuff that I still need and then format it (would probably take me 2 days...).
Some nice procrastination there .
