I've actually only seen one Star Wars movie. Not exactly sure what order I'm supposed to watch them since to my understanding they filmed them out of order. Or something.

Paid off all my student loans today, feelsgoodman.jpeg. This is probably the most I've done with any of my poker winnings. Think I'll go out and buy some new clothes tomorrow. Due for a new pair of shoes and whatnot.

Ran pretty pooey in the middle but managed the rostucko and then some. 2kNL doesn't seem to like me. Played against girahh and urnotindangr, twas interesting. I'm assuming it was the real urnotindangr because he's signed on Overbet and was playing quite looseygoosey. Not sure if I should comment anymore on their plays.

Made some fun hero calls but I don't think I can post them .

Anywho, giraffe

Don't play when drunk mate come on now. Mark been coaching you?
08-06-2011 , 10:31 PM
Oh dear. Erm. Please excuse my drunk posts. I was only playing 2 tables but that's besides the point. Don't play intoxicated. #doasisaynotasido

Bought a bunch of clothes last week, including black Airforce 1's which I managed to slightly crease already. Also have another pair of shoes and bough some #hipster graphic t's and whatnot. Went clubbing last night and after partied til 8(?)ish. Still slightly Teddy over. #hohoho.

Oh I believe I've mentioned it before but I'm fortunate enough to have dual citizenship with Hong Kong and the great USofA. So prior to FTP shutting down, the plan was to move to HK for a month or so and change addresses so I could withdraw all my manies. Can't really do that now so the plan is to move to HK+Bangkok for a semi-business related trip. Will meet a few of my poker friends there so it's gonna be chill.

Not sure if I'm going to play later today cause my head is still throbbing.

August thus far

Looking good Ryan.

I have dual passports too (USA/NZ), pretty handy/lucky thing to have although I only ever use my US one when I'm travelling into States as it's not too popular anywhere else

Have fun in HK/BKK!!

Spent a good 1.5 hours reading through this whole thread and although it's cutting into my Sunday grind, I think it was worth reading.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...-scam-1079792/

First 2 pages (100 posts/page) is essentially the cliffs, including the entire chatlogs posted by MossBoss and TC1.

Guess now I can say it, girahh was a pretty meh reg. lol. Not to say that I'd snapsit him a 4 tables HU, but at 6m he didn't really give me a hard time.

What do you do if you have JJ-AA raised pre and a caller, flop an overpair on T98tt or something wet like that and you bet, fish c/r or just raises you IP? What about against a reg? and if the cards were less connected, like T86tt or 985tt? or triple connected (987r etc.) but not rainbow, etc. because those flop textures differ slightly but raises would indicate somewhat different ranges...does your decision change if the top card isn't of the 2-tone, because a reg might c/r T9s on T86tt with TP+FD but never just naked TP

also post the overall giraffe since starting thread?

JJ I prob get it in on T98tt because it's actually not doing that terrible vs sets+2p. QQ+ depends. A lot of those are villain dependent to be completely honest. At the micros it's never a huge mistake just to fold flop.

And fwiw T9s when the top card isn't of the suit should be just calling flop instead of raising since raising is 1) overrepping your hand 2) you have SDV so you don't really need FE 3) you have alot of equity so you don't really need FE.

Trying to get everything wrapped up before I leave! Quite busy over here. Goodbyes to friends, packing, passport, visas. Super excite but yeah lots of loose ends to tie up here first.

girahh scandal was quite interesting. I haven't gone back to read everything but I think it's about wrapped up? Here's INTERNETPOKERS blog post. He got booted after admitting logging in on girahs Lock account to play PLO. I do admire his writing ability but the few vids I've seen him make were meh. I don't think he's been keeping up with the games, and the games are definitely different than how they played back before 09.

UMDT*nnis is back at the tables, it's going to get hectic/annoying.

Hm actually in that case it's a raise flop but only because its hard to get paid off oop when you hit, and your draw is not concealed in any way (board gets scary for overpairs ect)
