Thanks! If you meet all the requirements (15k hands, HEM, 6m) I'd be happy to DB review with/for you. Just send me a PM with your skype info.

I'm actually a little busy this week, but we can work something out.

Was fortunate enough to battle against the infamous luckych#wie. Ran insanely bad vs him. Really tired, still can't believe I managed the rostucko. No more running above EV for me.

Ugh. In terms of $, I ran the worse I ever had about two days ago. Think I ended up down ~5-6k. ~12ish BI under "EV" not including being set over set twice ~120bbs by a fish. Took a few days off to clear my head.

Watched Horrible Bosses, def recommend. My type of humor. Also a huge Kevin Spacey fan. Probably going to go out and buy a nice pair of Nikes. Apparently first impressions are very important to girls RT@Jex. You'll rarely see me in anything nicer than a pair of jeans, tshirt and sandals. #chasinggirls #lolshoesincalifornia

I've added all of you who qualified for the DB review via skype, looking forward to chatting with you guys. I'm actually crashing at one of my friends place and don't have a mic. Might go out and purchase one, I'll let you know.

I'll spare you the badbeat graph and post it in totals at the end of the month or whenever I post totals.

Really needed this today, #confidencerestored

LOL
NJ thinly veiled barg about picking up bishes in jeans, white tee and sandals.

You probably shouldn't take that advice from me given my screen name and all
But if you haven't copped your nike's yet, i recommend CLAE's instead.

Got my Vans on but they look like sneakers.

Bacardi is the nastiest **** ever. Straight up hate it. It tastes like detergent. The last time I drank it, I said I'd never drink it again. I drank some last night. It's still nasty. It was the only handle we had and still had a good time so whatever.

Heading back to my place tonight, hopefully will be able to set up times for DB review.

I have so much respect for you as a player. I'll be following this thread. Gogogo!

Playing too many tables to the point where I don't have time to consider all the variables before I make a decision. Seeing somebody win at showdown against me with a weakish hand that I feel i should have taken them off of. Flopping the nuts and then getting horrible turns/rivers and losing a big pot.

What do you do differently when you tilt?

I try to win every pot. I make huge bluffs for stacks. I bet too much without thinking about hand ranges deeply enough.

Do you feel yourself go on tilt?

Only when it's really bad.

Do you have any mechanism to stop you from tilting?

Just looking up from the computer, fixing my posture, breathing deep, try to focus on the now instead of on whatever tilted me.

What times do you normally grind?

it's pretty random.

Did a review with pbowenroe today, had a few technical difficulties but I think it went okay. I'll contact the rest of you guys tomorrow/Tuesday. Might be going out to watch Harry Potter, not sure yet.

Played a pretty short session. Spewed a bunch in the beginning. Ups.

Still working on the tilt piece, it's coming soon!

Hey sharkbait, great success, congrats! Been lurking this thread all the time and tried to follow your thought proccess when you posted hands...
Could you please explain your reasoning in the 4 6 hand? Seems like a call I could never make, given the fact he must a have a ton of broadways in his range and also his sizing seemed reasonable (maybe a little big?). Or was it just player dependent?

Thanks man!

Villain dependent spot. In this case, villain (who is a fish) was just mashing pot on turn and betting river when flop checks through. I pick up a flushdraw on the turn to go with my pair so I'm not going anywhere. It's just a close your eyes and call twice with any pair spot.

I also expect villain to check turn/river with any pair less than Kx, which means it actually sucks more when he checks than when he bets. He's not likely c/fing any pair.

Hehe who doesnt love borrrat right?

Thanks for your reasoning, I really appreciate it when very good players aren't too tight with their thought process. It's always very helpful and high quality insight. Thanks for sharing it and good luck with your pokerz!
