Had a good couple of days, got 2nd in 55$ 6max pko this Sunday for $3.2k, had all the bounties but lost the 2.2k hu match which was unfortunate.
Chopped the early big 22 for 2k today to get into a sweet profit for the month. Had a mod mess up the deal and go by numbers when the guy was willing to give up some but mailed support and got sent the $60 I was owed. I assume that my opponent still got his $60 extra and stars compensates for that? Hope so, kind of rather take amaya $$$ than his
Sorry for the lack of updates, really have to force myself to sit down and type something out. I have arrived in Vienna now and am sitting in a room with mainly a plant and a desk in it. I like my plant though, it looks nice.
I drove with a mate from Belgium to Vienna and he stayed here for the weekend, which was a really good time. We had a little trouble on the way though after we decided to go get some sleep at a gas station; we thought it would be a good idea to smoke a joint in the car to help us fall asleep and in stead of sleeping for 1-2hrs like we intended, we got woken up by police (customs) like 5 hours later and ofc they instantly catch a smell in the car. Ended up being stuck there for 3 hours and to make matters worse they found a little pink pill in my backpack that a friend randomly gave me earlier in the week because he didn't want it. Felt like a complete idiot of course as I didn't even really care to take it with me. Got fined and we were told we couldn't drive for 24 hours since the time we smoked so we did what anyone would do: had schnitzel breakfast and started driving again Luckily we had no other run ins with the cops and we made it to Austria safely.
On Friday we went out and it was pretty fun. Got quite drunk and when me and ac3play decided to head home we found this guy with a riksja(?) on the way, so we went home with that which was a good laugh. There was an option to play whatever music you want through pretty good speakers and we blasted this song the whole way while drinking a last beer:
Needless to say that got some attention the whole thing was a blast haha
Pokerwise, April was not a great succes but I got out of the hole by the end of it so can't be too unhappy.
It's pretty stupid but having my EV-line look worse bc of something like that kinda tilts me
SCOOOPPPPPP is here and I have somewhat of a sweat after the first day:
Bricked all of the other high stuff on the pretty hectic Sunday but obv very happy to make a day 2 already. Shoutout to KBY who is there as well with a milly+ chips, vamuuuu!
GL to all the heroes out there during this beautiful time, I hope to see some of the good guys beast everyfing
I'll try to post something on a regular basis and put some hands itt as well bc I can imagine it's getting pretty boring.

Finished 137th in the milly for 900ish and just busted a deeprun in the 215 wtb in 85th, lost a massive pot QQ<KK and couldn't really recover after. Left one-tabling the ole 11 phase
Extreme bad beat the lead up to them finding a pill in your bag haha. Time to take down a big one mate! You gunna be in barca again this year btw? Best of luck!

Haha, right? I felt so dumb about the whole thing. Thanks mate! I will definitely be in barca if I'm not somehow too busto to go, let's eat at Maka Maka again and see if I can lose a dinner flip for once Sick day at 500z btw, I lurk your thread almost daily. GL!
Pretty uneventful day yesterday, had a nice stack for a while in 55r plo scoop but busted pre itm, bricked a 109 phase in the last minute, bricked the 109 scoop w K8dd<A5 on Axxdd x 5d and had a lot of fun in the 55 3max one but got it all in threeway w AKo and lost vs AA for a huge pot. Today is the 215 L-highroller which I'm looking forward to.
Might have a new favourite hand for scoop, probably optimistic though but I would expect most regs to fold some 5x here:
Feeling pretty good about how I'm playing so far but should up the focus a little, gonna try no skype or music tonight and grind some volume as well since I haven't been grinding 'full' sessions a lot during scoop so far.

haha it's not your fault - happens. You gotta make the trip, just sofa crash if busto! maka maka flip sounds good, it's on blakk, dw. glad you lurk glgl

Small update, managed to win some $$$ since last time I posted. Got 1st/2200ish in a 7.50 pko on stars for just under 1.7k (running good in the right timbeys ftw) and had a lot of stacks the last couple of days which fizzled out in mediocre cashes.
Had a lot of fun in the 6max warmup yesterday but ended up busting late in 110th for around 850$. Just loving scoop right now with the awesome structures and getting to battle some bosses once in a while. Feel pretty good about how I'm playing so far except on 888 where I constantly time out because I never see it's my turn ffs. Seems like that site is pretty rigged as well but idk
Let's post some hands for fun, feel free to berate or educate me on any of these
Bluffing the man (not that cool over two streets, i admit)
Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q Q
2 folds, Colisea raises to 2,400, Hero raises to 6,275, 2 folds, Colisea raises to 23,844 and is all-in, Hero calls 17,569
Flop: (50,388) A K K (2 players, 1 is all-in) Turn: (50,388) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: (50,388) 6 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Results: 50,388 pot
Final Board: A K K 2 6
Colisea showed 4 4 and lost (-23,994 net)
Hero showed Q Q and won 50,388 (26,394 net)
Sussie was threebetting everyone's pants off so while I think we shouldn't be 4b/f that often with these stacks I think it's fine to size rly small with some Ax vs a likely polar range that won't peel a 4b often if at all. Might even prefer off suit Ax and peel most suited but I think A2s pbb plays too poorly as a call, not sure. Showed the 2
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q A
antonana calls 2,000, LaPC folds, Sussie Smith raises to 32,417 and is all-in, 2 folds, Hero raises to 148,981 and is all-in, antonana folds
Flop: (69,334) 2 7 T (2 players, 2 are all-in) Turn: (69,334) J (2 players, 2 are all-in) River: (69,334) 3 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Results: 69,334 pot
Final Board: 2 7 T J 3
Sussie Smith showed A 5 and lost (-32,667 net)
Hero showed Q A and won 69,334 (36,667 net)
Poker Stars, $200 Buy-in (7,000/14,000 blinds, 1,750 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 6 Players Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #37726073
Preflop: Hero is BTN with A A
2 folds, MP1 raises to 480, MP2 folds, MP3 calls 480, CO folds, Hero raises to 1,850, 2 folds, MP1 calls 1,370, MP3 calls 1,370
I think my play here is pretty damn spewy and bad. Hard not to be results oriented by his gangster ass b/c but my line looks pretty random in hindsight. Pbb don't wanna bet turn and x/f river seems fine
Hey man, nice thread! Been lurking a while already
Could you explain your thought process a bit on the first hand (barreling with A9ss)?
We're obviously telling a big story here, barreling the turn with that size. It seems we're narrowing our value range quite a bit with that turn sizing, in reflection on the flop (as we bet it, didn't look like our hand would need much protection on that wet board).

What value hands would you play like that?
Thanks!
Hey man, thanks
A9 on the flop I'll be just cbetting my range here vs what is likely to be a superwide bb defense range. On the turn though he has a lot more Jx/Txs and some Qx while we are weighted towards a way stronger range because preflop. I think the range we choose to bet ott is weighted towards 2ps/sets/straights and we want to size up significantly with those while checking our KQ/KJ/KT type of hands. I think we can go for this sizing with our entire turn betting range and go for a b/x/b line with some KK/KQ/AA for two streets of value, because most of that range doesn't need much protection and on problematic rivers for AA our KJ our KQ can improve.
So my value would likely be all sets/2pairs/straights I can have which all benefit from a large sizing imo vs a somewhat capped range (we have all sets/AK) and my particular hand fits nicely into a bluffing range because we block some 89/K9 and have equity when called. Other candidates would be Ax clubs though we might want to check those some too and I think some T9s might work nicely as well blocking some 2p/straights and having not too significant sdv (though not sure we want to add that, maybe with deeper stacks)
