Profit:
EV (will try to post this every month, no matter how it looks):
The good
* Made a real effort to study and improve
* Volume is okay for 8-tabling
* Put in an absolute ton of hours wrt poker-related stuff
* Grinded sober all month and mostly layed off weed
* Had quite a bit of exercise (shoutout to push-ups during breaks lol)
* Did not punt too many TCOOPs
The bad
* Made no profit
* Can still do a lot more study-wise, spend my time more efficiently
* Had tilt issues which was never much of a problem
* Got too whiny (like a bitch)
* Got bitter about results a few times (like a bitch)
* Used pokerstars chat a few times to vent (like a bitch)
* Struggled to play A-game and struggled to deal with that (like a.. ah whatever)
* EV-line is not where I want it to be
* Had a hard time balancing between poker and life
* Had a hard time following TOS when I did go out to a party
* Didn't make much of an effort to be the best human I can be
The plan
* Mark at least 5 hands every day and review/discuss them in depth
* One full HH review every 2 days (at least 14 total for the month)
* Grind 650+ MTT's, the majority of them off peak
* ICMize at least 30 spots
* Watch 10+ RIO videos
* Keep a close look on abi/turbo ratio wrt bankroll
* Make a real effort to play as close to A-game as possible every sesh
* No browsing during poker
* Review at least 3 full HH's with someone else
* Work out a mutually beneficial coaching deal with who I have been talking to
* Try to find stuff I really want to do outside of poker, not just go out on random benders
* Look further into moving to Malta
* Do not post a SINGLE hand anywhere for whining purposes only
* Do not look at EV-line during sessions
* Be more positive about stuff in general
* Use the headspace app to meditate a little pre-session
Well, that's a whole bunch of stuff right there
but will give it my all.
LFG February, GL 2+2ers!
