Thank you, you aswell

Nice start first day back from holiday. Won a couple of BIs at cash, and got 3rd in the 11r 6-max PLO and 3rd in the daily 8-game. Should have won the 8-game, but ran horrible in the stud games. Anyway, back tomorrow to crush it! Gl all playing this weekend!

So, today was going to be the crush day. Woke up early, like 8:30. Helped my father building a new floor in his new car-museum. Its a fkn 800 square meters building which is going to be filled with old collectors car and also a small apartment with some office space. He works on that EVERY day after he is done with work, so much respect for his work ethic. Anyway, we ended the work like 16:00. Started of regging everything PLO, NLO8, PLO8 and mixed for 2 hours, and things went to SHIIT. Ran fkn awful, lost massive pots near the bubble in brutal fashion. Took 30 mins of, went for a walk. THEN, fkn comeback mode.

Chopped the 11r PLO8 HU for 380$, won an 11r on NordicBet for 550€, got 4th in the Stud H/L for 200$, won 6BIs at PLO100 zoom at 1.5k hands and currently 4/11 in the 8.8r PLO 6-max, looking to win that for like the 7th time.

Year to date is 20.500$/60.000$ goal. Think my game is as sharp as its ever been, constantly getting good scores. Hoping to get a massive score tomorrow, will play a BIG schedule. Much love to all of you that follows this, dont be afraid to give a shoutout! Peace <3

A while since the last update, have not felt the urge to update this. Spent another 5 days at my grandfathers "mansion", because my girlfriend had her sister over for the week. Played a lot, and the first days went really well. Final tabled the daily 8-game twice, won the 27 NLO KO, final tabled some PLO 6-max aswell. Was up around 1.2k after those scores, and decided to play some PLO HU in the downtime. I have played less thank 10k hands PLO HU lifetime, and it certainly showed. Played in both the 100 and 50 zoom PLO HU pool, and dropped around 17 buy-ins. Long story short, ran bad and played even worse. Dont think I will give it another shot, atleast not for a long time. Will try to recoup some losses today, lets see.

OP, how you do deal with high frequency trading algorithms when you trade? I figured most full time traders gave up on day trading and went to swing trading. I've a full time investor but I no longer trade except for a few seasonal trades such as long S&P Late Dec early Jan.
I think I was very lucky with my stock returns and that it's unsustainable hence I've been moving into real estate instead.

I do not use algo trading or any other electronic platforms when I invest in the stock market. I only buy stocks that I intend to own for a long time, or as long as I see them as profitable. I dont use any advanced metrics, I use the things that I have learned from reading books and going to business school, i.e analyzing the growth potential of a business, how the infastrucure works, market share and so on. So technically, I would not say im a trader, more of an casual investor.

As I wrote in one of the earlier posts this week, I had a pretty horrible session in which I dropped alot of money. My mental game was ok+ during the loss, even when I lost 4 BIs in like 5 minutes. Whatever, it happens. Went for a workout later that Monday evening, and also worked out yesterday. Felt I was ready to get back in action today, and that was a good idea

The bad HU-PLO session:

Luckily, the zoom 6-max PLO action was good with some new and fun players. Ran pretty good and played pretty good to get the 75bb/100 winrate.

Pretty sick to win 16 BIs in only 2k hands, but nevertheless, it felt very good. First coaching with Jeans89 coming up soon, think im pretty prepared to gain some good knowledge.

Decided to spew a bit on this purchase. I dont really spend alot of money on things and toys, but this I really needed. Got both the monitor and the Mac-Pro for only 1.8k dollars, which is a steal.

Anyway, hoping the guys reading this is doing good. Have gotten some messages about studygroups etc, which is nice. Love to talk some poker/stocks with anyone who is keen. Heading out for a workout, will be back playing a big session tonight hopefully. Peace!

So, was gonna let this thread just die out, did not really have any motivation to keep it open. A friend of mine told me to keep it open to keep track of sh**, so why not. Played a massive amount of poker this last week, as im taking a semi long break to study for finals the next month. Dont really have a clue how I have done money wise before today when I checked results. Played alot of midstakes mixed games in some good lineups, won a bunch. Started of pretty good in the MTT streets, winning the 13.5 PLO KO, final tabling the 27 NLO8 KO, 10r PLO, daily 8-game and 27 NLO8. Then I took some shots at higher games and got smashed. Ran pretty bad, lost some pretty hearthwrenching pots in some key spots, but it happens. So from monday to friday, I pretty much broke even after being up like 1.5k. My GF suggested we should take a trip to our cabin at the south-coast. Ended up being a amazing trip, super nice weather, good food and just allround goodfeel. Played a small session saturday, with no memorable results. Returned home today with batteries loaded for the Sunday grind, which also ended not such a good day, but whatever. As I am writing, I was just 2/13 in the 27NLO8 w 1k uptop. Sb jammed 20bbs with aqj9ds vs my aa27 bvb. He scooped and im 9/12. Pretty bad to lose the daysaver that way. Will be studying most of this week and then play a big PLO homegame at the weekend, lets turn things around.

Threadsavers: (sorry for no naked girls)

Not the worst view:

Cabin is like 20 feet away from the water and hidden behind some small mountain:

Awesome with the beach right next to the cabin:

Awesome weather:

Was updating this while playing the NLO8, ended up busting in sick fashion once again :/ Cant believe how I used to play MTTs for all my volume, such high variance and so many disappointments. Whatever, enough whining. Hope all of you had a good sunday and weekend in general, see you soon

Thank you, yes family owned. Coaching session was very interesting, I think I learned alot in both strategy in general, but also some in depth gameplans for alot of diffetent situations. Will be fun to see if it pays of.

After a good day of school, delivering my assignment in math, I was ready to hit the grind. Played a mammoth session, and enjoyed it from start to finish. Played a mixture of PLO 50 zoom and some PLO100 regular tables. Also played three MTTs, was 2/12 in the daily 8-game before getting bludgeoned by variance in the TD. Kinda heartbraking being almost a lock to make the top 3-4, and then going out in 10th. Lost a key hand when i STARTED with 76532 and getting a guy all in by 2nd draw, and he pulls the 7 with 5432.

So happy that I play alot of cash besided MTTs, I think I would be dead by now if I only grinded MTTs. The variance and the long losing strecthes can be insane, I imagine. When I played MTTs for 90% of my volume I hated the small downsings I sometimes went on. Major creds to all the guys that grinds then for a living and doing good.

Anyway, here is the session in BBs:

4k hands is alot, even with some Zoom mixed in. Coffee and water is the key for me atleast. Also noticing lately that going to the gym 4x times a week is giving me alot of extra energy. Im almost never tired when playing, and generally feeling very good these days. Hopefully me and the GF can keep the good routine going. Anyway, just wanted to update on my progress. I will do a small review of how much im up this year regarding my goal, but it should be something like 24k/60k. Until next time, peace guys <3

Hey guys. After a successful week I decided to do some spewing irl. I bought a new coffeemaker that is very nice and makes insane good coffee. Very +EV purchase imo, so not a sweat. Also bought some new clothes at my local high end store. Its so nice to get greeted by the staff instantly when I get to the store. Since my father company have a 25% off discount at that store, I spent approximately 2k on some new jeans, sweater and a pair of sick shoes. Im very careful with my money, so its very nice to treat myself to some goods a rare time. Last "spew" was buying a brand new MacBook Air + 27inch Thunderbolt display. Its was love at first "touch", I installed PS and PT4 and started playing. Played pretty good all session, running kinda bad in some spots, but ended up going deep in the 8.8r 6-max PLO. That is by far my favourite MTT, my ROI is like 80% in that this year. I think its very important to have some "bread and butter" games that you know your +ev in and constantly print money. I see a lot of guys struggling with putting scores together, just random regging all kinds of MTTs and playing all kinds of cash games. After all, poker is a game meant to provide you with money, and my view is that the most important thing you can do is getting in a lot of +ev spots over and over again.

New setup, not completed yet.

Cruising to the FT. My redline in PLO MTTs is pretty good I think, allot of non-showdown winnings.

The classic bustout. Kinda sad, but w/e.

Would have been a 1k+ day if I took down that tourney, but can't win em all. Back at it tomorrow.

Hey, thanks! Also a big fan of TheTakeover

Another day, another winning day The heater continues on the new setup, which I'm really loving so far. Got my PT4 going faster than I thought, so that was a nice surprise. Ballpark I think I'm up close to 60BIs so far this month, which is awesome. Running good and playing good is hard to beat. Going to aim for a 100BI month, and if I do I will give some Sunday Storm stake-backs to the first 5 guys replying

Also been going really hard at it at the gym lately, 4 times last week and it will be my 5th time this week when I go tomorrow. Getting that sommerbod ready for Cannes Much love to the guys following this, don't be afraid to ask any question you might have and I will try my best to answer. Peace!

Sup guys, hope all go you had a good sunday For me it was only the cash grind this time, as me and the rest of the family was invited to some family members who recently got their first child. Super fun I must see, so special to see how happy they were and how beautiful the newborn was. Def have to get one of those at some point!

Anyway, session started of pretty bad, but turned things around. That makes me 9days in a row with profit, hoping to continue the run/play good!
