How much poker are you playing these days? And how badly have you been ****ed by the recent crypto crash(es)?

playing poker pretty much everyday about 6-10 hours/day. and i bought TRON at 4.5 cents sold it at 6.5 was sitting on some bitcoin sold about half and moved the rest into XLM. ive done alright in the crypto crash ive maybe made a little or close to broke even in the last 2months.

Rent apartment get vocation at community college then pursue poker. Or play tournaments on the side.

Hero($585) 32cc. So far I have been playing very tight for a few hours and havent really gotten much in the way of cards. I looked down at 32clubs and against my better judgement I decide to raise to $25.

But I've told myself if I see a play that I'm going to make it. So I go all-in. Villain 1 quickly folds. Villain 2 Asian lady thinks for a few minutes and calls. Villain 3 thinks for a minute and calls. Asian lady had TT and young guy had JJ river was a Q and obv I punted away a stack. Lol.

I won a seat to the 10k WPT LAPC main event in a raffle.

Commerce Casino has been running a promotion where if you make a full house using both hole cards Monday-Saturday then they give you a ticket to a drawing on Sunday. Well I've been doing ok this week so I had 5 tickets. There are 5 potential seats given away on Sunday the drawings start at 7:30 and end at 11:30 one drawing every hour on the half hour. I was in a rush driving on the freeway to get there by 730 lol. Well I got there on time and 730 rolls by and they call 3 tickets and there is no winner. So no winner for 730. 830 rolls around and I have all my tickets with my initials showing in case its my initials someone might help me out. Well the player left of me says "RB" my initials and points up to the giant screen displaying the winning ticket. I go through all my tickets and OMFG the last ticket is the matching ticket! 129305 RB thats me OMFG!!!!! I saunter up to the casino services to claim my mothereffing 10k WPT seat. The floorperson takes me up to the ballroom to have my 10k seat printed and it's the real deal guys. I'm freerolling in a 10k tournament!!!! OMFG!!!!!!

Dont worry about me btw with that 32cc hand lol I still won 800 that day. And I also won 600 today(besides the 10k lol) and just been kicking butt in general. I will try to post more here and probably be playing a bunch of MTTs online.

Thanks. I already had a reg ask if I was selling action and suggested I could sell 3k to people at a markup be a win/win. I'm not really interested in selling action though. When I was at the VIP cashier getting the buyin ticket the floorlady asked "Are you excited to play?" and this was when I asked if I could get cash instead because I would prefer it over a 10k tourney but she said no. So I said "well then I'm very excited to play in this tournament! I'm glad actually that I'm forced to play instead of take the money" She also asked if I was a No limit hold em player which I thought was a little funny but whatever I said yes and she asked if I played tournaments so I told her I played online and that I won more than I lost so she said good. And she also expressed that she wanted one of the freerollers to win to which I replied thats fine with me I want to win it.

I really think I got a shot at this guys.

My first exposure to NLHE was a WPT broadcast. Now 15 years later I've got a chance to be in one? Nah my friend, it's fate.
