My pokercarrer:

I startet to play poker with friends when I was 15 years old. We got in onlinepoker and I grinded my way up to NL 50 through freerolls and small deposits.
I ended up break even, because I tiltet away a big bunch of my bankroll. Then I startet to go to my local casino. In the last 10 years I played live poker fulltime or at least as a side income. I beat the game for 30$/h over a sample of 5k hands. Mostly I played 1/2 and 2/5 with some shots on 5/10 when there where games running.
Because of the coronacrysis I have to pause my job as a socialworker and that’s why I decided to get into onlinepoker again.
I played some MTT’s on Win2day and managed to make 2 second places. My obsession for Poker started again. Due to fact there wasn’t not enough tables running on each time I decided to look for another software. I ended up with Bestpoker on GGnetwork, because there are no HUD’s allowed. I deposited my winnings from Win2day and played MTT’s and Nl50/Nl100 with no Bankrollmanagment. Guess what happened, I went broke after playing 16000 hands of cashgame. At this point I felt so frustrated and bad and I decided to take it seriously with one more shot and applying proper bankrollmanagment. I downloaded Holdemmanager and analysed my mistakes. With my stats I was not wondering anymore that I was a looser in this game.

Stats:

• VPIP: 28,9 I think I played way to many bad starting hands. It should be around 20 for 6 max?
• PFR: 23,8
• 3bet: 12,8 loool every strategy video was about 3betting more often, but 12,8 is way to much I think.
• WTSD%: 33,1 to much?
• W$SD%: 45,1
• AGG: 3,52

I would really appreciate some help with important stats and what I can learn from them. Is there anything else in Holdemmanager I should look up and share with you?

I think the graph on ggnetwork is without the paid rake? Am I right? Is somebody out there who is beating it consistently on NL100 and up? Or are there better softwares with less rake?

What should I use to improve my Skill? I watched a lot of Videos, wrote Jonathan littles E-book. analyzed some hands. What you guys are doing?

Goals for this Blog:

• Apply proper bankrollmanagment
• Get tiltresistent
• Learn everything I can about beating onlinepoker
• Post handhistories
• Stay disciplined and focused.
• Updating 3-4 times a week, including different themes like society, Sports, Bitcoin and all other funny or interesting stories which come to my mind.

I will get about 500 dollars of Rakeback ( I have a rakebackdeal through another affiliate, for further information please pm) and I want to start at NL 50 and see how it will go. If I lose I will move down to Nl 25, but I think to start there is a waste of time. I could put in another 500 Euro from my live winnings.

Lets start the grind

Good luck man! Have you considered playing on the apps instead, like PokerBros and Pppoker? They're generally softer for any given stake.

The transition from playing live to online poker is pretty big. I'm not sure when the last time was when you played online poker, but you should definitely tighten up. (Especially at the stakes you are reffering to)

10 Buyins is also not proper bankrollmanagement. Stick to at least 30-40 buyins per stake.

Also try to define your opening, calling and 3-betting range on each position.
There are dozens of charts available online to help you with that.

Anyway, good luck on the tables.

Thank you Vicenz for the Tip with the charts, they are usefull
I think i'm gonna stay with GGNetwork and their rakebackdeal.

Funny start for the blog....

Poker is a rollercoaster. Yesterday i played some cash and got coolerd in 2 Pots. I decided to play the major tournaments of win2day.

-150

I play solid poker and build my stack in 4 of the 6 tournaments. Got it in good 3x with QQ and lost 3x against Ax from the bigstack.

One tournament left, i was the chipleader all way long.
****ed it up directly on the Finaltable because i couldn't wait and wantet to make a stand against the bigstack on my left who was aggressiv all the time...
-100 Dollar
I decided to stay with Cashgame because the variance of MTT'S tilts me to much.

I played 14 hours 0.25/50 cashgame in the last 2 days and i feel pretty good that i' am able to beat it.

11k hands on 0,25/25 with a nice little profit

I went smoking with my girlfriend and she felt asleep.
Goog time to play another little session --> turns out it's not

Tried Rushpoker and was leveling myself into calling of when my oponent had topset.

Another interessting Hand:

Middle Position 1,25 hero (cu) 3,75 with AK

Flop: As9hKS

I bet 2/3, he calls

Turn: 3s

What is your play?

I'm playing around with Holdem Manager. Has anybody some good input how to work with it.
Is it worth to buy? I don't use the Hud because it's forbidden on the site.
I'm thinking about changing to a Client where i can use it.
What do you think?
