Out for a few days in a trip this week, so didn't have much time to play. I put in a long session sunday night, and that was a severe mistake. Just a ridiculous bad run of river cards. I recovered some in the beginning of this week and also hit the stellar $10 bonus yesterday. So moving up it is. Level one is done, ten days behind schedule.

A balance of the $0.02/0.04 games: Played around 13.9K hands with a winrate of 2BB. At first I thought the Fullring games would be more profitable at this level, but that was wrong. Just because the pots are bigger doesn't mean that you're going to be in the good side of it. As a curiosity there is a couple of regs at this nanostakes. One is a good winner for more than a quarter million hands(!); the other is a slight loser for tens of thousands of hands and I didn't notice much wrong with his play (pretty ABC), but maybe he is playing too much the 10max games, a bit of a lottery in my experience. Also the rake at these games seem kind of brutal. I think a good player can beat this stakes for 5BB or so, but not much more.

So 0.10 Limit beware, here I come.

Congrats on moving up!

I'm in similar stakes right now, just graduated to .10/.20 a couple days ago.

My thread

I noticed a few regulars at the .02/.04 and .05/.10 stakes as well. Most were above average (but still not really winning) or very predictable/exploitable.

It's possible I'm just really lucky, but I managed to beat .02/.04 at around 9+BB/100 and .05/.10 at 10+BB/100. Pulling off a similar winrate at .10/.20 so far, with around 7k hands total between all limits.

What is your play style at these limits?

Thanks. The .05/.10 was going better (around 8BB at the 6max tables). Unfortunately I kept playing the FR tables... My style of play has been a bit on the passive side; when people 3bet me pre I usually call instead of raising trying to disguise the strength of my hand. Not that good. Also I didn't have much experience in limit, so have been learning quite a bit in the last few weeks. GL with your goals and thread.

Anyway I'm quitting my challenge or at least puting it in hiatus which is basically the same thing. Not because I think it's impossible or anything like that, but because I've suffered a couple of life bad beats this past week. My mind isn't in a good state right now. I'll keep reading several threads in this forum for inspiration and spend some time in the Micro Stakes Limit and Micro Stakes PL/NL. And hopefully get back to the tables in September/October.

As it stands

For laughs here's my first Royal Flush at a cash table:
