Poker owes me nothing. I'm a lifetime losing poker player. And its all my own fault.

I wont go into detail as I'm sure you have heard all the BS here before. But ask me anything and ill provide an honest answer.

The sole reason for creating this PG&C thread is to turn everything around and prove everyone wrong, whilst giving hope to others. With my own self discipline and the right 2+2ers who actually care and would like to see this become a success story railing this thread hopefully I can achieve this.

I don't want to set myself up to fail, so part one of my journey will just be:
  1. Setting Myself Rules
  2. Creating A Study Plan
  3. Setting A Realistic Bankroll Target
All of which I'd like YOU to have some input.

I'm at a weird place right now and could really do with some guidance.

Thanks for listening.

What are you planning on doing Cash games, MTT's, or Sng's?
You should devolep a solid plan and add short term goals and long term poker goals.

Trouble Is I have a very small BR at the moment. Stars = $17.07 FT = $10.81.

I was thinking low variance $0.25 MTT's at Stars and $1 Matrix at FT.

I was kinda hoping a plan and goals would develop here, TBH I'm lost at the moment.

Thanks.

$0.25s are an excellent place to start and I'd recommend you focus solely on those. I started from a similar position as you ($20 on stars) and built a solid foundation roll from grinding the .25s. They are super soft and even if you are only competent at the format you should be able to get a pretty high ROI.

Here's a pretty graph to inspire you:
