The goodrun continued today tomorrow im going to look at a new place to stay at. Will post pics if i get to move in, its a real sick view!

I reached the goal of 100k hands for the month today, feels really good. This is my first month of the year that ive played over 100k hands actually, but havnt really played more hours but my decision to include zoom tables seems like a great move so far. Really happy with the profit too, have won 9097$ so far including rakeback obv ive been running good in all in situations, think its a little missguiding though because i havnt ran THAT good overall, but cant complain about how i run atm!

i wasnt the only one thinking it would be nice to go to the beach today.. think schools have vacation or something, kind of sick that its that much people during the middle of the day a regular wednesday!

Amazing results for the month, congratulations! You have been destroying the games. Definitely inspires me to grind and continue to improve. What are your thoughts on the current situation of PLO rake? There is a thread here on 2p2, you may have already read through it, basically claiming that PLO100 is unbeatable due to rake (minus a select few I suppose). Clearly, you show its very beatable, even pre-rb.

Great pictures, amazing location you have yourself there. That has to help any tilt that may show up from time to time!!

Best wishes moving forward, continue to crush!

Thanks man I really appreciate it!

I havnt read that thread, to be honest i dont think very much about it. Its 4,5% i think where im playing but not sure? But then im getting around 40% back from my supernova status. Sounds kind of sick how anyone can claim that plo100 is unbeatable, i mean most of the times the tables are relativily soft so as long as your putting in hard work in your game and keeps on developing its very very beatable!

Yeah, wow its really awesome to be here i enjoy every day of it funny that you say that, because, ive kind of found a state of mind thats really working out for me and im barely tilted anymore. I think the most important thing is to have a real proper BRM ofc, financial security is super important. then i mean, to be able to just close down the computer and walk 200m and lay on the beach for the rest of the day instead, when you have that option and overall so much more important things to be greatful for, its actually hard to feel bad about that you are losing some money in a card game.

Thanks again, gl to you to!

Intense day today, woke up a 6am and went to look at the apartment at 9am. it was really really nice but it was a few others that was gonna look at it too so i will know if i can move in by the end of the weekend. after that i went for a run and to the gym before i went to the beach for a while.

So pokerwise it wasnt the best day, ran bad in lots of spots but if im gonna try to take something good with me from today is it that i quit quiet early when im feeling that the cards isnt falling my way at all. which i think is important because some days its just not your day obv.

Im gonna go and get some grilled chicken and turn on a movie now instead

losing streak continues, 4 days in a row now and close to 24 buy ins below ev so not very fun playing atm. been running really bad in 3 and 4 bet pots too so its pure fighting at the tables right now get absolutely nothing for free. But thats the way it is hopefully i will turn it around tomorrow! #variance

Alright, so ive been thinking about monthly goals for oktober and decided to go for a big month! So heres what im aiming for:

- 150k hands

- 60k vpps

- Will stop include ev graph, ive been finding it more and more distracting because its so irrelevant from time to time so from now on 100% focus on my game and bringing my best to the tables.

- Moving to coogee beach tomorrow which is a smaller and more relaxed place, think this will be great help to improve my workout routines actually. Ive been working out around 10 times a week since i got here thats mixed cardio+gym. But im lacking in health skills foodwise, not that i eat bad food, but i dont eat good either and not nearly enough. So im starting at a really good gym over there tomorrow where my sister is working, so she set me up with this personal trainer that have arms as big as my legs haha. So my plan is to hire him 2 times a week for the upcoming 6 weeks, i think this will definitely be the biggest challenge! Hes supposed to be really good with food too so looking forward too step up the workout a notch and take the food thing more seriously.

BIG tune! #oktobergogogo

Thanks man! I saw that you had an insane month, wow 21k congrats Not 100% sure now but i think i played around 130 hours.

Hehe, its amazing here, weather is great and location is really nice too so cant complain at all. I felt it was nice to get away for a while since the fall is kind of rough back home in sweden and my sister lives here so its nice to be able to visit her too.

alright, welcome back, cant say that ive missed you though haha so are you done with the live grind in us for a while? where you heading now?

Alright first day of oktober, big volume day and were on my way against a big score but dropped down. at least i was able to book a small win and im really happy with the volume! so im moving tomorrow and have to fix internet not sure how i will do that yet, and have an appointment with my personal trainer to so really looking forward to get started with that

Having the toughest time for the year so far at the tables right now, lost another 1000$ today so decided to call it a day early. Not a good timing to go on a big downswing either since ive had so many life expenses lately, i mean last 10 days i lost 5500$, payed 1100$ for rent, bought flight ticket home since i flying home over christmas for 1200$ and the personal trainer 800$ + alot of other things life dinners and shopping. so my liferoll has taken a hit so will probably take the rest of the day off and come back tomorrow and step down to plo50.

Ofc it sucks to have downswings but i have to say being able to be in such an amazing place really makes me appreciate what im able to do thanks to poker, so despite huge losses last 9 days i cant say im feeling very bad anyway since there is so much more things in life outside of poker that is so more important. So just try to turn off my emotions about recent downswing and workout hard or just being outside enjoying life is a great way to do so!

Having second appoinment with my trainer today and really have som tilt anger to get rid off so really pumped up

so putting the monthly goals aside, next up rebuilding!

heres last 9 days at the tables, thing is that im sure that ive been running even worse in other situations so its been pretty disgusting days at the office lately. down like 3,7$ for the month i think.

Ah alright! Gl at the tables then yep indeed it is, but i think you kind of have to learn not taking poker/money too serious if youre gonna do this for a living. Because if your emotions are connected to your pokerresults then you will be miserable for a pretty big percentage of the time.

But i think this is a thing you learn after a while, because in the beginning when i was playing i was really affected about how i did at the tables, super happy when having big days and super tilted when having bad days. This dont really work in the long run, i mean ofc i get happy when i win much but as long as i dont lose a really really significant amount compared to my liferoll i dont really give it too much thoughts. Its all about getting a good balance in life and realize whats really important and doing things you think is fun.

I mean, i dont play poker because i think its the funniest thing in the entire world, dont get me wrong im really enjoying the game, but its what im able to do because of poker and the lifestyle im able to have that is by far the main reason why i keep doing it.

alright so that was alot of rambling haha, anyway been stepping down to plo50 and it began good! #rebuilding

Enjoying the thread so far dude. Keep up the good work!

I'm joining you with investing in a personal trainer, got my first session today o_O How have you been finding it?

Also if you don't mind my asking, how many buyins do you keep for PLO50? I'm considering switching from MTTs and have heard vastly different answers from different people... some people saying 100-200 buyins... although I recently spoke to KasinoKrime who said 40 buyins is probably enough for less than PLO100.

Thanks man appreciate it!

Nice!! Guess youll be crazy sore tomorrow then haha Definitely my best investment in a while, even though its really tough it makes me feel so much better. Im doing this http://www.poliquingroup.com/Article..._Training.aspx so its basically alot of sets of everything which i find really really tough and it feels like im sore everywhere all the time right now! Im doing 3 days workout in a row focusing on all the different bodyparts, then 1 day off then 3 days in a row and so on. But will have my trainer 3 times a week so he wont be with me everytime. What you think about it so far?

Alright, fun with people who enjoy plo! I would say, ofc it depends on how much youve been playing plo but im really tight in my brm. I would say that i would much rather have 200+bi instead of 40bi, but i dont think that much about online bankroll i mostly think about liferoll. But thats me, i think its so important to feel safe financially so id rather have too much behind then risking too much.

Won small today, slowly rebuilding..

Month so far down 2k$ post rakeback so its 1,1k$ from bottom peak so its slowly going in the right direction. certainly not the best start but will do everything i can to turn it around. Havnt had a losing month so far this year so would be sweet to keep it that way

Have been a couple of days off from the tables with alot of beach time and workouts at the gym But actually went to the casino yesterday and played a 4h session of 1/2/5 plo and it was really fun, the table was soft with a couple of old rich guys who was really bad so ended up winning 810$ aus so that was nice. Followed this up with booking a nice win online so hopefully i can keep the rungood for a while from now on!
