Time for a new thread and a new accountability challenge.

Starting with 5k on ACR I will end 2022 with a bankroll of 50k on the site, after withdrawing 50k. Here are the rules.....

1) MTTs only

2) strict bankroll management (these are aggressive, if I go broke that's fine, but the challenge ends)
  • BR < 5k = 109 max buy in
  • 5k < BR < 10k = 215 mbi
  • 10k < BR < 20k = 320 mbi
  • 20k < BR < 40k = 630 mbi
  • BR > 40k = 1k mbi

3) Max rebuy 3x in any one MTT (this is more of a tilt guardrail than anything else)

4) Log all games and update here occasionally

I unlocked and reset my Sharkscope account for transparency. I will be playing as Wormy Dog.

I will continue to post regardless of traction this thread gets, for my own accountability sake. I would love to prove some haters wrong so please weigh in if you think there's no way. I realize it's hard to gage without knowing anything about my game. I consider myself a decent MTT rec, in midstakes on ACR. Overall about a breakeven history given lack of BR management and shot-taking. Biggest score is winning the 109 warmup on ACR a couple years ago for 48k.

LFG

Also I have a regular job so will play and post as I can.

Finally got a session in the books yesterday. Fired 7 bullets in 5 tournaments. 0 cashes. Bubbled (actually 1 away from stone bubble) the $630 ticket satty PLO8. PLO8 might be my favorite game. So fun and these satty fields are quite soft imo.

Playing well and not worried at all. I really need to get on the good side of variance early to gain some traction. Went 0 for 3 in big, key flips (20-30 bb) mid to late-mid stage of the tournament. These are must win flips, to go deep in these crazy Sunday fields.

Two observations from the session to note.

1) I really hate low to mid stakes on ACR. The fields are HUGE (e.g. over 3k runners in the $30 30k) and navigating the variance is insane. Experienced some really bad beats yesterday in this $33 and the $109 warm up.

2) When I don't play a few weeks, I tend to come out of the gate too aggressive. My vpip was 35 across all games yesterday (lol).

Having some trouble with PT4 but will try to post some stats as I get deeper into this.
