Maybe Pman is working towards that.

Thanks, you are absolutely correct. I think it helps me stay honest to myself if i'm honest to you guys; i don't mind opening up.

Getting that nice of an apartment + bringing your gaming pc out is big mistake.

Gonna have to agree to disagree. I would never want to live thinking "oh sh*t if i dont win at poker today i can't eat". Nobody is making you watch my vlogs if you are insinuating they are boring. I'm documenting my life choice and change as something for me to look back on, fail or succeed.

Your other poker commitment was 7 hours online tho, right? I mean, it doesn’t make a difference to me, but seems pretty straightforward to schedule out 37 hours of poker, when you can do 1/4th of it from home. It’s only 6 hours a day of live and an hour and a half a night in your insomnia PJ’s.
Not looking to rag on you for health related stuff of course.

The other commitment with luvdavlogs was online yeah. Squid's was all live. I agree, if I tried harder i could've succeeded. Is what it is. I'm glad i'm putting in more hours now and am able to play longer sessions. I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me!!

(also no insult taken, we all have our health issues; i have 0 problem discussing them openly)

Honestly, if playing 30 hours of live poker in a week is too stressful/taxing too for you maybe you shouldn't be a full time poker player. What happens when not only you struggle to put in 30 hrs, but you are also on a downswing? How will you feel?

Or maybe invest in some mental game coaching.

30 hours of live poker a week *was* too stressful/taxing for me. Let's see how I do next month!

I have a very good mental game. I take pride in my attitude and the way I handle situations. I appreciate the advice and am doing what I can to put in more hours. You will enjoy the next vlog; I have several 5-6 hour sessions (and i'm working on getting to 8-10)

When you have insomnia it's very difficult to do anything.

When I worked at McDonalds I believe the employee discount was officially 50% but we just ate for free. Shifts were like 5 or 6 hours. My buddy worked an earlier shift and after 2 hrs or work or so I would convince the manager to let me off early so my friend could take me home. On my way out I'd build myself a huge meal to take home. Pretty good deal considering I just worked 2 hours tops. Perfect job for you!

This is good info right here. If you work at one of there corporate owned restaurants you also get I think $13/hour.

I got paid $4.25/hr at McDonald's. Not bad pay when you add in all the food comps.

So true about Trooper's early vlogs being gold. When he was living in that place was must watch tv, i barely watch any poker vlogs now but those will forever be the golden age of vlogs imo

I'd be interested to hear what exactly you are doing to improve your game. One thing most people have trouble with is being totally objective. When you say you played well after a session, what do you define as playing well? What do you consider your weakness at the table? I'm not talking about your insomnia and other stuff outside of actual poker play.

I've seen countless people come to Vegas and try to play for a living. Almost all have failed.

I'm not trying to be negative. I'm just wondering if you have what it takes to be successful. I know you've said you are not necessarily trying to play full time but still I wish you luck.

I define playing well as making +EV decisions, especially in tough spots. My strengths and weaknesses are gone over with coaches / mentors.

No negativity taken thank you

Why are you opening to $6 in the QQ hand? In general it seems like suicide to 4bet QQ vs an old guy...albeit I have no information on villain other than he's old.

Well i opted not to 4b, but i do prefer a 4b. I'm opening to $6 because thats what the table was doing. Usually i do $10 if its looser.

Some people think you should never drink when you are playing.
