Without developing a work ethic the only path I see to success in this thread is hitting the Mega Millions.
Exactly, unfortunately the theme of this journey is: How to Be a Loser. Pman's life is going nowhere and that's his own choice. He has a serious mental disorder and it's called being lazy. Despite having the best of intentions, his parents seemed to have helped facilitate this mental disorder. Him winning money at bitcoin didn't help either.

I'd be curious to know if his friends are all BikeKing type losers or if he is also around successful people and yet he still chooses this path to nowhere. The majority of kids I know his age make 6 figures+. I can't imagine being around winners and then deciding to grind micro poker and continuing to work a part-time job doing data entry (like it's 1985). That's the type of remedial work one does for a few months to get back on their feet before moving on to something bigger and better.

You are not the only person with anxiety. Many of us have it, some combined with depression (and choosing substance abuse). Many are able to function fairly normally. My parents kicked me out of the house when I was 17, gave zero sh*ts about my mental disorder(s). I barely made it out of high school, took a job in the mailroom at $3.25/hr, worked my way up to making over $200k a year. I now live off my investments and play poker for fun.

If it's important to you, you'll find a way, if not you'll find an excuse.

I was going to make a lengthy retort, dissecting how disgustingly inaccurate and embarrassing your post is, but I'll just leave it at this:

Certainly if you are not capable of engaging in a productive intellectual conversation, then it's best that you don't even try.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I don't think you need to work a job to better yourself. There is much more to life than working a job.

Well .

Poker is supposed to be a career choice

A job is supposed to be something one is supposed to be working on to survive because of not having anything better than that

living off from investments and "retiring" early is most cases foolishness due to expenses (spending) interests growing rapidly when all time that goes to work is suddenly spare time combined with the attitude of not wanting to "work" anymore

If not owning businesses and just having 1-3m networth at age 40 minus saying being retired means depression , needs medication has to go to doctors

I see your point. Making a living / having a hobby and doing stuff is good. Retiring early usually doesn't end well, but everyone is unique.

I see many positive attributes having followed this Pmans journey . Life is not about poker and neither about failing / succeeding at one thing .

Being able to spend time with parents is a privilege .

Working a job for 10 usd / hour is okay . Thinking my overall poker hourly even having played reasonable amount of time up to 5/10 online .. over the whole years of career is max something like 10-15 usd / h taking to account all the time that went to playing micro / lowstakes / studying etc.

Making fun of working entry level job only tells about arrogance

its the truth of win rates

past years having logged a 50+ hourly bonuses included and increased it (yet needed to pay for coaching before that point even)

before that it was somewhere at 20 minus and steadily decreasing towards early years of breaking even

(10 years of poker)

tell me about yours?

I retired after 44 years in the business. They cut me a lump sum check (for just under $2 million) so I'm going to maybe find a part time job to supplement my social security and coast from here on out, probably don't have much longer anyway.

real world comparison to those should be things such playing runescape and trying to sell the gold / some in game rewards

poker winnings are different class bcz the money coming from someone elses (earned money)

Hey Pman, not to be cruel and all, but can you explain to me how a right winger like you, with your hatred of humanity, and fake preaching and all, has such an obviously concocted left wing diagnosis? Also: Did you or do you get a crazy check from Obama or soc sec or some other left wing entity? Not trying to pick on someone with 'mental health' issues.

Ever considered to go down, take a low life job and move on with your life. Most of the times things are pretty simple like just dont having the IQ to get the job done in pokers. Its not like Forrest Gump the American Dream where everything goes right. x))

Please refrain from posting in my thread with this attitude

Yes, I've had "low life jobs" before. They don't work out.

I"m done talking about jobs. I've gone over it in detail in many vlogs and posts. I wish I could make you guys understand.

Posted this in LVL and wanted to share it on my own thread, I like what I said and want it documented in my journey.

In regards to asking someone if I might have aspergers:

I am on the spectrum. Tourettes, in my case, has affected me mentally moreso than physically. At least that's what my neurologist had told me. My best friend jokes I'm slightly autistic, and I agree. There's some **** I just don't understand in this world and some things I truly feel like i cannot do. But I love who I am and wouldn't change a thing.

The only frustrating part is that I come across as lazy, ignorant, stubborn, etc etc.... I promise these are not my intentions. I try to be honest, and my vlog was an outlet for me (which I will be getting back to, i love making videos). I never wanted to gather people telling me to quit, or telling me how to live. That wasn't my goal. But I understand that by putting myself out there, I will get feedback, warranted or not.

TLDR I'm slightly autistic and most definitely proud of who I am and trying to care less of what others think of me, at least those who don't have my best interests in mind.

Thank you
