Finally got back to the tables after a long, looong break.
It wasn’t the most lucrative session, but I managed to end in the black. This session’s theme isn’t about the hands that I did play, it’s about the hands that I didn’t.
Full ring, blinds $2/5. 3 grueling hours in, no playable hands. The best hands I’ve seen so far are A
5
in MP, and K
Q
in CO which I both open fold.
The hand where I folded K
Q
(with $150 behind),
It’s pre flop raised to $15 by a LP who seems like a grinder. heads up against BB to flop.
BB is a Chinese man wearing business suit, whose been running like fire, bought in for $500 total, and had about 1.2K in front of him. He calls.
Flop comes *Qc 7d 8h.* Great flop for me, I would have flopped TP GK. I’m crying on the inside.
Chinese man donks out $20.
Guy in LP, warily calls.
Turn comes another Q. Board is *Qc 7d 8h* Qd.
I cry some more on the inside. I could have doubled up on this hand.
Chinese guy bets $40.
LP guy warily calls.
River Jack. board is *Qc 7d 8h* Qd Js
Chinese business man checks.
Grinder guy checks back.
Chinese business man shows Q7 for a FULL house, and gets zero value from grinder. I could have gone broke on this hand.
I fold some more, all night, until I see T
9
($150 behind) on my BB. I want to see a flop, but some douche in late position raises to $24. I can’t call that. I fold. and of course, the flop comes
*K
J
8
.* I would have flopped a flush…
Overall I’m happy with all the folding I did the other day. My opponents were raising and calling $25 chunks, often showing down some pretty random holdings.
I ended up positive $60 for the session, and bought some white widow and amnesia with some of the winnings.

Yeah, this guy’s absolutely right. I just had to take a step back from a moment. If you don’t see or hear from me in like 3 months, yea, I’ve probably OD.

Dude, I literally drove for uber for like, 3 months last year. They off boarded me because my car doesn’t meet the year requirement and specs. It’s like, making fun of me for sh**ing my pants in 1st grade. I sustain by living a hyper minimalistic life.
