Don't worry about it man. What you give off in this thread is the same in person. Young aggro asian. You can show up with anything. You are a problem for any reg. They are scared of you. Yeah you give off tips and some perception itt. But poker is about game flow dynamics and the position of the players. Even the average pro doesn't know about that.

OP, to what extent do you think your hourly is sustainable over the long term? (assuming factors remain exactly the same) In other words, do you think you're running above expectation?

Well... there are really specific things that are HUGELY beneficial (especially in PLO, but also some in NLHE) I give away that a very good reg sitting with me for the first time probably wouldn't pick up until like 20+ hours of history.

I'll go ahead and give away 1 example of what I'm talking about: LAG that I perceive as close to breakeven raises, I flat from blinds HU, flop comes two tone and gets checked through. turn completes flush, I'm check/raising 90% of my range here (the 10% I'm not raising is my value hands ) and showing a ridiculous profit vs. unknowns since LAGs never check behind on flop with flush draw. It's just annoying when villain knows I'm doing this from reading this thread, but I don't know villain knows...

I know people do this because they like money, but even looking at it from a 100% selfish perspective from them, it's more +EV for them to just introduce themselves and I'll give out some more poker tips to them in person that I don't post here. Turntup, Robocop, serio, etc. can probably vouch for that.

I'm not going to give any more examples of my exploitive play... but they're here for everyone to read.

My answer to your second question has 3 parts.

First, I think people on 2+2 vastly underestimate the winrates you can achieve. The reason I think so, is because I've spewed off deep into 5 figures in spots that if I was playing my A-game I never would have lost. So obviously my winrate looks insanely high compared to what's "reasonable", but I guess I would argue that what 2+2 thinks is "reasonable" isn't even close to what you can obtain.

Second, my winrate looks higher than it is when I post my "LA total" at the end of every post because of the 10 hours I played with J and won $27k.

Third, to finally answer your question, I think I ran like god during those 10 hours with J, and everything else has been also been above average but not like ridiculously so.

Also my game improves SIGNIFICANTLY every single month so this also kind of ties into the first part of my answer that I just can't possibly see how people consider live winrates to be "capped". Like I said in post #1063 yesterday (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=1063), getting into a single 56-44 flip for a $1k stack every 4 hours increases your winrate by $30/hr. Also see the posts leading up to post #737 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=737) for a tip in a marginal spot that most regs literally never think about to potentially increase winrate by $5000/year, etc. I personally believe there are at least double digits if not triple digits more "fringe" situations like this and they can all potentially add up to... a lot.

People used to think a quadruple lutz was impossible until someone did it in 2011.

The sky is the limit on potential EV agreed.

Nice, well-thought out response -- I agree that 2+2 players typically underestimate the ceiling of live winrates. Most likely because it's so very much higher than online that it's difficult to fathom without a large amount of experience playing both (in live, particularly experience in low/mid stakes game w/ good rake structure).

I'm providing poker tips and dissecting my own game to you for free, you can at least say hi. I know who some of you are, all nice people but yea this pisses me off. Thanks!
Mmmmm, when you put it like that, it sounds so hot.

that game was 25/50 with J straddling to 200 and basically potting every hand preflop if it limped to him.

Explained way back in this thread, but basically this guy who is trying his hardest to give away money only had it in the form of Vegas (and some Commerce) chips. He's a VIP at Bike so they turn a blind eye. I'm definitely not going to refuse his action either

Rungood continues. Was stuck about $2k early on, but ended up +$2340 in 9 hours. Was pretty tilted that people kept folding to my river value bets, one hand in particular I check/called two streets then bet $1500 into $1700 on K982T where I held QQJT with spades, this guy tanks, calls clock on himself and folds with 1 second left.

Made a nice hero call in a ~$500 pot with a middle pair on the river. Later villain got me back by calling me with 2 pair in a $800 pot when I was making a play with the nut flush blocker... bah.

A well-off rec player asked me to flip for $1k almost completely out of the blue, I accepted, lost, and he gave me $100 back after. Sweet, free money, I'll take it. I almost made it back later by winning an 8-way flip in for $100 each (flip loss is included in my total).

Table was extremely fun again today with lots of friendly needling between regs.

LA total: $70271, 462 hours.

Can you please comment more on this game? Are you playing $5/5 blinds, are you playing straight PLO8 or PLO/PLO8 mix, and how often do you see this game run?

Thanks,
Andy

Game never runs at Bike if someone knows how to play. I've played PLO8 (5-5-10) 3 times this week but just as a novelty with the PLO regs when it gets down to 3-handed and they refuse to play (even the ones better than me).

Nice comeback my dude! You owning souls in PLO. I think playing live plo would be weird. Looking at 4cards live would take sometime getting used to. Way easier when you can see all the cards in front of you on a cpu screen.

I just played a horrible session. Was horribly tilted the whole time, didn't play well, should have left. Haven't been getting enough sleep recently tbh. Some interesting/good things did happen though...

-I won money, amazingly
-same reg who gave me $100 back on the flip yesterday saved me $800 when I was tanking in a hand, he let me off the hook and told me to lay it down (he's never bluffing here)
-Tipped a dealer $20 who was given a rough time from the table (dealing with quartering pots, superstitious regs, etc.)
-one of my friends snapped his player's card in half over a floor ruling and said he was never coming back... he was back in 3 hours.

+$1401 in 11 hours. Really should have left way earlier though.

LA total: $71672, 473 hours.

If I stay in LA for 2 weeks in July, would I be able to find PLO 1/3 - 5/5 ($500-$1k'ish) every night?
