rake in that game is brutal.
I've played a ton of pineapple and I will say that the difference between an elite player like a Brian Yoon or whoever else is at the very top is not much different then just a regular guy whos good like me. It's easy to be good and once you get there then there isn't a whole lot of edge between people you are playing with unless you find a fish you can trust to play on the app for reasonable stakes.
Of course the guys who are really, really good have a significant edge (obviously) but there is so much inherent variance in the game and the rake being 40$/hr per player (I believe) makes it not really worth it imo unless your playing like 25+ a point, which is very big.
Playing against random tourists at 10$ a point isn't really worth it imo due to rake.
