Flop AK6, pot $75
V checks, I bet $45, V c/r's to $125, I jam for $750 total (based on history, not usually jamming here). V shows an ace, says "ace no good?" and looks like he's about to fold... oh no... quick, do something! I quickly flip over my ace and say "I have one of those too!" I feel like this particular action isn't very call-inducing, but when villain is about to fold I'm ready to try *anything* to make him reconsider. Anyway he goes into the tank, leveling himself no doubt, and eventually calls with a worse kicker and bricks out.
Awesome thread I just started reading it last Sunday. i just finished reading post #1300. Just a couple of questions:
1. Are there other things you do at the table to induce a call as referenced above?
2. Are there things you do at the table when you want them to fold?
I for the most part just dont move or say a thing when I want a call or a fold. Thanks, keep up the good work.
BTW I have never played PLO before but reading this thread is motivating me to pick it up and to move up in stakes to 5/10NLHE.
I hope you dont mind me asking you questions from a few months ago. Good luck.
