It's generally a good idea to err on the side of folding to river donks. People don't bluff rivers enough, and even smart villains usually guess that you're not folding a ton otr after you fire two streets.

Effective. Young laggy pro opens to 55 I make it 185 with kk on btn he's in cutoff. Goes hu to flop (3100 eff)
Flop is 10h8s4s.
I bet 205 he makes it 550. ( I thought he had few bluffs, sets aa ax ss j9, j9ss 79ss and maybe a10ss) so I called to reevaluate turn. Turn is 2 h. He bets 750. At this point do you think you can discount double draws ?
I ran his range through poker cruncher or w/e and it seemed to be a fine play for what I thought his range was.

I agree, just seemed a little weird but once I thought about it more it never looks like I'm folding so a small "bluff" would never make sense.
