Actually here's pics from the very first day I brought the truck back to my place. It's crazy, I was actually the same height/possibly a tad taller than the truck and now it's much taller than I am. Once the engine is back in, I'll have to take another pic of me standing next to it like I did in the pic from the day I bought it below

But yea, every little thing makes it look a ton different in my eye. It just looked like a normal truck before, now seeing it without it even running or anything and people that know anything about vehicles know it's souped up

Heh just thought of this...so you can see in the first picture that to the right is like some lowish hanging ceiling. I used to bring my truck in that way, past tower 1 and past tower 2, passing underneath the covered parking spots and then over to my parking space. The truck is now much too tall and I can't pass underneath anymore and have to take a long, scenic route around all of Calafia to get to my parking spot.

@Zima, honestly it all just comes down to the Powerstroke 7.3 being my favorite diesel engine of all time and me always wanting to build a sick 7.3 and finally being able to. As I've touched on before, I don't think Ford really got it right after they started making their own diesel engines and quit using International (International Harvester IDI) for their diesel engines.

A few other points, though haven't really thought about any of them in depth
1. Do they make the raptors with diesel engines yet? I think there is talks of building one for maybe 2019 or 2020. Again, am not sure and there may already exist a diesel raptor (that isn't converted of course) but don't really think so. Not really interested in a gas powered truck, especially as a 'toy'
2. Def no clue on this...would my warranties and whatnot be GG because of the fact that I'd be ripping into everything, adding tons of parts etc?

End of the day, I have a truck that is built for hauling huge loads that is now absolutely fast as **** and can compete with and beat many sports cars off the line. Nick and I clocked my 0-60 (0-100km/hr) at 5.2 seconds in September using the ford diesel family program + laptop connected to where we could run all those tests. I really want to race a new raptor, it's the only truck that should even be able to compete with mine. I think 0-60 times on the new ones are like 5ish seconds flat



But yea, truck obv is more meant for towing and is more of a 'workhorse' truck (in theory ). Even while my 4WD wasn't functioning properly, I was able to haul my buddy Matt's 7.3 Excursion (~8000lbs) up an inclined hill to Nick's house as his truck's radiator blew while on the way over to his place one day. Definitely with a bit more of a proper set up (though I'm already close), my truck could haul 20,000+ lbs (which is a ****TON of weight) with ease. This would take
-better hitch and using a gooseneck trailer
-trailer brakes/exhaust break
-there's probably a couple of other small things I would need, but I actually can't think of any off the top of my head. Different tires I guess

I already have all of this **** which are important for heavy towing. Gauges are very very important to have, with my 2 gauge pods + the Juice with Attitude, I can literally see temps of everything. Within the Juice can actually set 'alarms' and limits so that if something starts heating up, you get warned and can kill the truck before doing any damage to it

-rear air bags for the back end
-gauges for engine temp, trans temp, exhaust temp
-top of the line aftermarket intercooler, oil cooler, trans cooler, radiator + hoses, cold air intake
-top of the line aftermarket slotted and cross drilled brakes




Hmm, I haven't actually ever looked at my MTT stats broken down by different stack sizes yet. It's mostly a sample size issue for me as I don't play a ton of MTT hands. This could be your issue potentially too, sample size.

I think in general people don't make enough 3b jams for 20-30bb out of the SB especially vs later positions. There are tons of super profitable jams people ~always miss vs wide HJ-BTN opens. Also don't see ppl vpiping enough out of SB either. So 'problem' could start there. I'm not too great at MTT related content, it's what I pay BBZ for . But yea, that's something you could take a look at, sorry that I don't have better info

And heh yea, just as most people don't see the appeal to some big diesel truck, I don't see the appeal in most sports cars . Obviously at the end of the day it just comes down to personal preferences




I'd post screenshots to help a bit, but I'm sitting the $200-$1k hyper turbos right now while updating the blog so can't open HRC. But yea, so you'd go into HRC and I think in 'advanced hand' it is where you'd find it. You can enter the openers range and then their call 3bjam range vs the different positions behind and then it can calculate the equilibrium 3b range for you from the button (or SB/BB if you were there).

I am still working on rerunning a lot of 25bb push/fold/call spots, but once I am feeling pretty good about that again, I will need to revisit some calculations like the one above. It becomes a bit different when there's ICM involved, but can enter the payout and then I just manually make some adjustments based on the table layout and whatnot.

I actually only played a couple of MTTs yesterday, I think 5 total. In general, Sunday is my lowest MTT count day due to the fact that I can actually play a much higher abi of hyper sats compared to the rest of the week and it's my best hourly by far

So, been super busy per the usual between grinding, studying and life. I actually gave up on tracking the hours haha, have never gotten good at that. Maybe during SCOOP I will just write down my start and stop time each day to see how many hours I play during the series when I go super duper hard.

As you guys saw from the tracking I did over a couple of weeks, I really don't play some obscene # of hours (outside of COOP/festival), just a pretty optimal grind sched that gets me a lot of games/hr and good ev.

I have a busy couple of weeks IRL. Missing today and will probably miss tomorrow as I have a meeting with my lawyer and will be getting my new visa and filling out papers for my residency card here in Mexico. Have a few other subjects to chat about with her. Will hit the grind if I make it home in time for start of mini super tues, but I just don't see that happening. Possibly missing Friday and then next Mon/Tues I have more boring RL stuff to get done, this time having to go up to the US to get the Durango smogged to finish the paperwork for it

I mostly have videos, but here's a cpl pics of different parts of the engine from this past week. Getting closer to being done, new bearings and crank kit got here this past week along with a few other important things. Intercooler has arrived up to his parents house, someone may have gone to grab it, if not, I have to send someone to do so.

We're hoping that within 2 weeks we'll have everything back in the truck and can start her up















Oh yea, and this chick I met recently made me quite jealous this weekend as she went down to San Felipe for some races. I am thinking she'll be who I bring with me down to the Baja500. Been a bit of time since I've updated. Super super busy week this week, only planning on playing Thursday and short session on Saturday before SCOOP starts
Monday: Mexico RL (lawyer meeting + truck stuff), got some study done in between and then had a lovely night with Mexico City girl I met last month around my birthday
Tues: US trip! First time I had been in the US since 2016 when I went for Cubs/Dodgers NLCS. Long, ridiculous day lol
Wed: Studying and relaxing
Thurs: big grind
Fri: Get new visa + study and then massage + dinner with Ruse, Shana, her family and maybe thelipofund
Sat: Small grind and to bed early
Sun: Start of SCOOP madness!!

Mostly just quickly popped in to post a couple truck pics. Engine is officially back in the truck, looks super sick in person and these pics came out kind of bad but even the good ones really don't do it any justice

















As part of my US trip yesterday, I went up to my mechanics house to pick up all the **** I had ordered. I had never yet gone to his parents house (nor his city) so was cool to see all of that. I've met his parents probably half a dozen times and have met his sister and his little niece a few times. Was nice to chat with his Mom and sister for a bit yesterday and to see little Natalia, she's such a cutie and always cracks me up. She's 5 and is super smart, can understand both English and Spanish and can speak Spanish, but she doesn't like too. More or less refused to Speak any Spanish until recently, but yesterday when I asked 'y Natalia, ya hablas más español?' soon after walking in the door, she snap goes 'si, ahora hablo espanol!' (yes, now I speak spanish) all proudly lolz.

That was the fun part of the day, after already having a big fail on hand. Went to finish the Durango paperwork. Had an appointment at the DMV and we had to go get it smogged. I had told Nick to put everything back to stock and he didn't change the cold air intake back to the stock one. Get to the smog place and fail the visual test because K&N doesn't have the stickers on it to where it's environmentally approved. Guy is like 'yea dude, this thing is sick, way better than the stock intake, but I can't pass you on the visual test w/out the sticker being there.'

Ended up going to the junk yards really close by on a mission to find a stock air intake for a 5.9L V8 Magnum engine and finally on stop #6 I found what I needed. Get a mechanic over to install it and unfortunately when he took off the performance intake and went to put on the stock one I just got, and we realized that the mounting bracket was different for the performance intake and there was no way to install the stock one as is. Was really ****ing tilting, I've gotten so good at all of this **** that even when Shana was pissed/upset after failing the smog, I was like 'nah nah, I got this ****...we still passin and getting this done today' and asked the dude where the huge group of junkyards were (they were close by, I had heard about them from a few different people including my mechanic Nick) completely confident we'd get it done. I tried my best, but Nick made it such that I was destined to fail!





Actually as I was updating this, the chick I hungout with on Monday hit me up. We had a great time, she's a super nice girl, just super busy. Works at HK but wouldn't take any money from me other than uber money. And then just messaged me this...I'm definitely all for hot strippers cooking me super tasty, homecooked food







Chatted for a bit which is what is taking me so long to make this post heh, but yea, have plans to hangout when she returns at the end of the month. Is really weird speaking English to a girl, she's the first girl that I've banged that I speak English to in years. My mechanic was making me laugh on Monday, 'you even gonna know how to talk to a girl on in English dawg?'
