Hello Guys
I am a 19 year old Student living in Scotland and currently studying in my second year of University. I play on Boss Media more precise Interpoker.
This thread will be in place to keep me motivated and improve my game along the way. I am taking poker a bit more serious, at the moment I have another month and a half from University, lol Xmas breaks. As a result it will allow me to grind a lot for the next 45 days or so.
Basically this thread will be a year long I haven't set a goal in stone as it just adds to pressure instead I will be playing my game and trying to improve it as well as setting life goalds.
So here we go!!!
Long Term Goals:- Move up from - 10NL to 100NL by 2013.
- Establish a live bankroll big enough for 1/2 and 2/5
- Play a UKIPT event, either through stake or buy in.
- Play 400,000 hands.
Long Term Life Goals:
- Pass all my University Exams in Semester 4 and Semester 5.
- Go to the gym twice a week and workout outside such as jogging once a week.
- Learn to drive.
So the above were long term goals which I hope to achieve by the end of 2012, they seem fairly reasonable and hopefully I can do all of the above listed. I will also have monthly goals, since I am back at Uni in the middle of February I will be putting most of my volume during holidays such as winter, easter and summer and a light amount of volume during actual study period.
January Goals
Play 75,000 hands
Move up from 10nl to 20nl/25nl
Now the Goals which I have set are those which I feel are attainable, I really want to play in a big live tournament such as the UKIPT, I feel it would be a great experience and I enjoy playing live. I do play 10nl Omaha but for the challenge I will be grinding Hold EM. In addition I have got stats on 20nl/25nl where I am break even at the moment. At the moment I have about 83,000 hands at 10NL. I am going to grind 10nl for a further 2 weeks and will move up hopefully by the 15th of January.
At the moment I have 42 Buy Ins for 10nl after the 7th of January should I break even I should have about 55 Buy Ins from rakeback and will play 20nl and mix some 10nl.
Anyways I rambled long enough, any questions are welcomed, I also have skype so if you play 10nl and higher please let me know and we can exchange details and discuss hands. Furthermore I will be posting some interesting spots not after every session but try to twice a week at least.
