I'm going to use this thread to chart my journey into a winning MTT player.

For the next 2-3 weeks I'm going to continue studying and once I've done that I'm going to hit the MTTs.

Nice look forward to following your progress. I'm kind of doing the same thing, but on a completely beginner level. I.E. Going from complete newb --> to something a bit better and hopefully break even / earn a slight profit this year.

Started playing today, following a stake I received to play eight $1, 90 mans, and a cpl of mtts. Still on FT. It's gone ok, and I'm pleased that my efforts learning MTTs the past while are paying off.

I played 8 $1 90man dbl stack sngs, and 2 $2 mtts

I made some small profit for myself following the split of profit, tbh it's not really about the profit at these small stakes more about the results for me, and I'm pleased I managed to pull some good results in.

Played some more... I'm playing well overal, will post losing hands a bit later, with one exception I think every hand I have gone out on was good.

Played another set of 4, 3 no cashes, 1 playing at the moment.

Also played a 5k freeroll... top 42 get paid, 500 runners... I shove with 55, with 13bb from button and ****** bb with about 20bb calls with QJ and sends me spiraling out.

MTTs are extremely hard work, you can go so long without a cash, makes you feel like you're treading water sometimes.
