Hi guys, 28 year old german Hyper & Spin player here!
Finished my Master of Science earlier this year and will give this whole poker thingy a shot now.

I have 0 discipline when it comes to BRM, which - according to several pros - is one of the key characteristics of every longterm successful poker player.
That is the main reason I'm creating this thread: Be accountable for not suicide-climbing the stakes.

I played every stake on Stars for a decent amount, but can't say which ones I'm beating or not due to the lack of documentation. PT does not track the picked chest after winning a Spin & Go Max,
so the results in this thread will be a mix of PT graphs & Lobbys I guess.

We start six-tabling 3$ spins max and will move up with ~60 BIs of the next level, slowly increasing the needed BI-amount when it comes to higher Buy-Ins.

Playing 6 tables 15$ by the end of the year would be desired (read:expected) result.

For this week:
• Play B+ all the time
• NEVER take shots on 7$ after hitting & winnig a big (red/yellow/gold'ish) multiplier
• Finish all tables before firing the next six
• Put in solid volume - 400 games should be doable even with busy weekends.

Profit going the right way even without running above average or picking a lof of high multipliers.

Good thing is, there's pretty much zero regulars on this BI-Level. Very beatable. With solid volume the 7s should be hit in no time.

Hello, weekend has been busy.

[ ] Play B+ all the time - Struggled playing until 4am fully focused. Also the early darkness beginning 5pm really tilts me.
[ ] NEVER take shots on 7$ after hitting & winnig a big (red/yellow/gold'ish) multiplier - Of course I played 1-2 during each session :-/
[X] Finish all tables before firing the next six - Easy achievable and important to focus on the last hands before All-In-Mode in every game!
[X] Put in solid volume - 400 games should be doable even with busy weekends. Way more possible!

Adjusted it's a little less, like 300$+ since beginning of this thread.

I'll keep playing the 3s for at least until the end of November and then reevaluate. Will need to step up the volume while still maintaining B+ game all the time. Here's to keeping the downswings to a minimum, maybe hitting a few golden ones to be properly rolled for 7s soon!

ROI is over 15%, I doubt I can keep that for 7s and have zero insight in the Spin Staking Companies, how much % good Regs can achieve on the 30s or 60s levels. I still seem to be the only reg so far in the 3s - maybe because it seems a little hard to make a living anywhere in the world playing only those.

Got a solid volume in today, the 1k-Spins-in-5-days looks fine so far.
35% ITM today, 37% since thread began, might get over 40% some sessions, will see. Also I'm pretty sure having 200+ Spins a day it will be very difficult to have a losing day on these limits - nice.

I imagine playing 7s will need a lot of adjustments, will comment on that after the switch.

Just hit the 900 Spins in the last four days. Tomorrow 100 more and I'm happy with my volume. Put in around 10 hours each yday and today - but it's worth it. Feeling very focused and in the zone.

Have to admit though I already gave 7s a little shot, playing three 7s and three 3s simultaneously, my kind of shot-taking.
Graph's getting very out of hand
- Hitting 70$-10$-10$, 28$-4$-4$, etc. is such high variance for the bankroll, the graph is nowhere to real anymore.
It's nice to see 37% ITM, depending on multipliers it's hard to say if that's a very good or average number, will have to do the math of the most common multipliers in 3-8 men Spins and figure how many places are paid, shouldn't be the hardest math.

Lab After, I never studied for anything but making Spin & Go Max my bread and butter I should understand all my decisions or much rather question myself if the decisions I tend to make are correct gut-feelings or subconsciously decisions math wise. I'll start simple by exploring one of the unique S&GMax spots, the hand(s) before the forced All-In:
• ITM Math: Taking payjumps into consideration, should big multipliers affect my game on the bubble or in the money (e.g. 8 players 5 paid)?
• Analyze three spots: Calling Ranges as chipleader last hand pre All-In (Risk of losing chip lead 2 paid, 3 left)

Will keep mixing 7s and 3s for the time being, am relatively rolled for 7s already and will transition 100% in one week or so.

Been weak days volumewise.

I kept being a little distracted. Switched from Coffee to Tea and don't know if that's got to do anything with it. Played around 400 Spins in three days with -300$ results, all in all on 13% ROI in 7s,

Today
Decided to play a day of 3s, to see if they're that much softer.
Hit two golden ones and a red one early on. Results were pretty good:







Thats +110BIs or 330$ in 45 games, will hunt for the next golden one and be off for the weekend.

Was a narrow decision, I know I lose EV but having 2/3 prices below the Cashout always makes me decide on the conservative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Weekend was no poker, got drunk first then fever hit me. Today I was a little ill but gave the session a shot anyway.

75 games on 7s, one 15$ session-ender. 360$ profit, won several green ones and hit solid multipliers. Nothing out of the average on this sample and 40% ITM, very content with my play.

Will be a short week, visiting a friend in Southern Germany Thu-Sun. Hope to get in 150 spins each tomorrow and the day after. Will keep playing 7s until holiday season and see where I stand then - pretty sure 2020 can take off with me starting to be a 15s reg

Very content with my game, on the bottom end of variance when it comes to All-In-Phase and picking prices. Could aswell been a 300+ day but we'll take it. Having a profitable day under these circumstances shows how hard I beat the games right now.

Hi! Maybe you'll hate my post and it will make no sense to you

But for me, when I was getting sick, it was lack of some vitamins in my body. Since I started taking Animal PAK daily (it's just my pick for proper sports vitamins, pharmacy over-the counter stuff doesn't cut, there might be other good vitamin packs other than Animal PAK but I the said product because it works for me) I've never been sick, not even once, also no headache as far I can recall.

I'd suggest you to buy a similar supplement and test it out. Maybe it's the case for you and maybe the reason that drinking tipped you to get sick-ish was in fact lack of some vitamins same as for me.

Hey man, I neither hate your post nor does it not make any sense to me. I know my nutrition for the last couple months has been terrible and I lack several things, e.g. I find that out after/while doing sports which is 2-3-4 times a week and I start shaking lots after. Will definitely try to get my vitamins in one form or the other, one of my major new years resolutions!

If I identify that correctly, that's just shy of 10bb/100, can't tell if that's good on Spin Max and what it tells us. Just good to see I run on average the way I am supposed to.



I did some math on how often ITM is average on each Spin according to Pokerstars Spin & Go Max tables:

8 Players: 26,86%
7 Players: 28,81%
6 Players: 33,93%
5 Players: 32,32%
4 Players: 33,22%
3 Players: 33,54%

Conclusion: Work on 4- & 5-handed or play a bigger volume to identify if that's just variance. Might review some hands for first blind level 4 and 5 handed on tonights train ride.

Really hyped to play six 15$ tables full time soon, seeing how big the swings can be money wise shows me that those levels are more than enough to start making a decent living (in a quite expensive city in Germany). At some time next spring I'd like to transition into 30s, but let's see if I can beat 15s for a larger hourly than I have now: 14% ROI on 7s is .9$ per game, getting to more than 1$ a game on 15s would be amazing.

At least it was not solely my fault to lose that much money. not hitting any multipliers above a few purple ones doesn't help, but was just generally the worst I ran since beginning of the thread by far. -50 BIs, will have one more shot at the 15$s tomorrow or will have to move down for the time being.

Played 400$ BIs worth of MTTs just cashed about 200$, ended the day up 400$ thanks to spins.

Still having some cold issues, body is regenerating very slowly but changed some stuff in my diet that should help fighting it. Playing very solid and running a little above EV, not winning massive multipliers or else I'd post them here in the blink of an eye.

I'm playing on a special Pokerstars Software and they just released the Casino Add-On which I couldn't use before - gladly! There are some races for solid prices and not any participation so far. Will keep you updated on that front, might be some free money, don't plan to degen any slots apart from that.

Winter Series has been announced, unfortunately I'll be gone from 28th Dec-3rd Jan to Denmark, having some wild fun holidays! Might be for the best looking at my MTT results this year. Have been very underwhelming besides some 11$ and 27$ Hyper-FTs.

Here's to having one last full week of grind before going on a break for two weeks.
