Hello everyone, it's time I do this.

Background:
My name is Jonas and I'm a 20y old Economy student from Slovenia who has been in the poker world for about 5 years now. How it started ? I was 15y old and we were at a birthday party when someone who's brother used to play nl50 on betfair brings up the idea that we should play poker. As we played, his bro played with us and I kind of quickly adopted his tight play and since I'm a lifenit I liked it and spoted the potential in it. Got a few friends hooked and with time we started playing for real money (burgerstakes obv). At the same time I also got to meet someone who played nl100 on Enet and he got hooked, I deposited €100 and I played nl10. Turned that to a few 1000€ pretty fast but since I was a nit I stayed at nl50 and occasionaly played nl100. At the time it was baller money, especially for someone who was still a minor. Enet was supersoft and while going to highschool I managed to pull in about a minimum salary each month which was about 600€. Mom and dad were fine with it, at first a bit concearned that I'm about to become another busto gambler but they eventualy gave in and I'm thankful they support me. A couple years passed and as rakeback got on Enet I went on to become an affiliate there. Never built a site and mostly found players on forums (2p2 obv :P) and via other sources. It's been good money and I managed to pull in quite some €.
Up untill recently when Bluffgaming went bankrupt I haven't played much and atm I have 7k stuck there... Other income was used for life expenses, approximately 10k€/year paying almost everything for myself. It's not much, but I'm a nit and I don't spew money.The first year in college I lived in an apartment alone but I recently moved in with 3 good friends (2 of them work at a programming company and 1 works for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu). Feeling super psyched about it all, I'm moving to the flat in about 2 weeks.
I have a gf for about a good year now (will post pics), she's been super cool with the poker thing, a bit grumpy at some occasions but I'm happy I have here

Where we at ?:
After the Bluffgaming bankrupt I'm left with around 3.3k on MB, around 550€ on some random sites I tested (DBG network), 400$ on PS and a goal to make money on hypers there. I have some decent income each month from affiliating so I'm not really beat about money stuck on Bluff. I'm a positive guy and I'm sure things will turn. I also run a affiliate site but from obvious reasons I'm not going to advertise it here.

Plan:
I decided I'm going with hyper HUSNG on Pokerstars. Played some games at 1.5$ and moved to 3.5$, wanted to shoot for 7$ but got slightly beat down, oh the joy of hypers I recently bought Cog's course for 500$ from HUSNG.com and I finished the 2nd session with him this monday. I want to play about 2.5-3k games/month, I'm probably a bit optimistic, but looking on the bright side here I think it's doable. After I finish cog's course I will re-evaluate my play and see where I stand with the results and make a study plan.

Goals:
Make a living off poker. I need 500-600€/m to pay for my apartment, food, car and still keep smth to spoil myself. I get enough from affiliating, but that can always change and I don't want to feel like a fish on dry land if even that somehow goes wrong. The goal is to beat the 30/60$ hyper HUSNG on stars hopefully in about 6 months

Since I don't like monetary goals and I'm not really broke I will write the goals a bit differently.

I'm also thinking about running a side blog, write more about the everyday stuff that happends to me... Always wanted to do it, just never really finaly decided about it. Will definately think about it in the next few days and see what I come up with.

Day1

It's been a long day, I managed to play a few hypers in the morning and it went quite well, won 3/4 (sickvolume). After that I called my doctor to get an appointment because my right foot toe was swolen and hurting. After I got there I was forwarded to x-ray and with the huge waiting line I was done at 12.00 and still a 30min drive to home. Toe is ok tho, no broken bones, just a badass sprain. While driving home I picked my main PC, paid for my insurance and took my gf to a job interview with a friend who just opened a bar in the city. Oh and when I finaly got home I managed to eat my first meal of the day at 15.00 and took an hour off to go with my buddy on a cup of coffee. While drinking coffee we remembered that we saw a cat on a tree, about 10-12m high, she seemed young and stuck but we thought she would eventually get down on her own. I drove home and while driving I remembered about the cat so I drove there to see if she got down. The poor thing was still up and she wasn't moving I called the friend I was on coffee with, went to pick him up and we took the ladder from my house to try and save it (too short ladder obv). Tried calling a friend who's a firefighter but he said she'd get down eventually and that they won't make an intervention because of the cat :/ faith in humanity lost ?? I was kinda mad but decided not to leave it up there so we looked for alternatives. Called the local school janitor there (supercool guy, always helps w anything props to him !) He gave us the lader, we got the cat down and gave her milk and youth girls basketball team just came by to practice at the local playground. I used to coach those girls about 2-3 y ago (they were this year's U12 national champs) and I talked one of them into taking the cat home So it was a supercool day and I managed to also find some time for poker in it. Garph below, I will post more HH and encourage strategy talk in the future. I feel smashed now so going to call it a day and hit the bed. Moar to come tomorrow

Morning session is over, I played 71 tourneys and didn't run so good.

I 1 tabled the first 55 matches and the lst 16 I 2 tabled. I'm not sure if it's just me or the small sample but after my session with cog and when he introduced me to nash equilibrium and the calling chart I might have implemented it too much at the wrong stack depths. In general I think villains are super tight when it comes down to calling shoves at 10bb and lower... Don't know, but I decided to only play villain dependent and only use nash lower than 6bb's instead of higher. This happened after around hand 700 and you can see the results. Could only be a heater but I will proceed to test it this way and see where it brings me

lots of coolers, bad beats and the times when turn and river totally counterfeit your tpgk+ hands making it 4 to straight or 4 to flush boards... Alltho usually it's both

Will play more later and post some hands. (Changed from hem to pt so I still need to learn how to find em)

Played a few more hands in the afternoon, volume was good and I'm happy with the results. I have an exam in accounting on monday and I need to pass or I can't go to my 2nd year... if I fail it I can still make a request to sign for 2nd year because I had some medical problems over the year. Focus on account now, poker volume might go a bit down but I will do my best.

Ok, so not much hands on villain he just seemed like an aggro tard (pfr 100,AFq 100 in 20hands), raising and spewing on 3barrels. turn is a good card for me and I'm quite confident I have the best hand. Board is wet so easily a good 3barrel spot for him.

My flop thinking was he could have 78/89/Q9/Jx/Tx or xxdd and all air that cbets so I call. Turn is a good card for me and after he bets I'm quite confident I still have the best hand and his hand looks a lot more like a bluff/draw. Because of his agro tard image I obviously call turn and commit to calling any river aswell unless it's a J/8

Happy with overall progress, I got stars to mail me all handhistory that I lost
Played 51 tourneys today, I might play a bit more but I don't feel like it so I probably won't push myself.

Today: Ended up about 4bi's and some rungood at the end (won 2 flips but it's something)

Interesting hand vs villain:

He seemed to limp/stab a lot. I decided to turn my hand into a bluff on the turn and definately bluff river as I'm sure I can get him off his draws and weak hands that call flop and fold river (89/45/25/46/68)

So since I was a bit lazy with the update the last 2 days here goes.
Haven't played much volume because I'm getting ready to go to the biggest fair/exhibition in Slovenia with my dad's company so I will be staying in a hotel for the next 7 days and working 8-7. After work it's dinner time and maybe a couple games of poker if I won't be too much tired. After the fair I'm home for about a week or so and than I'm off to Sicily for a week.

How have I been doing poker wise lately ? Great ! I must say I think I'm really playing my A game and obviously running decent.

Results wise I'm not really sure why EV, redline and blueline don't starts at 0, they start at -20$ Anyone knows smth about that ?... super weird but yeah up about 16bi's in 500 tourneys and if EV started at 0 i'd be up about 24bi's Might post pics from the fair

So I'm back from the fair, it's been a while since I updated.
The fair went supergood, lasted 7 days which was probably a day or two too long but anyways.
We woke up at 7.30, ate breakfast in the hotel and went to our stand at 8.30 because the fair started at 9. We were back in the hotel at 19.00 and off to dinner at 8. The experience was great, my dad's company is selling high tech robots, pressbrakes, punchbrakes, lasers etc... All worth easily a couple 100k€+ so obviously we didn't sell anything in those 7 days but we gathered a lot of contacts and had a ton of inquiries and hoping to sell some in the next few months as the negotiations take place. I managed to sell 2 machines worth 5.4k and I still need to make proposals for about 30 people Fingers crossed.

So... back to poker
I managed to play a few games everyday and ran really well. Ran my roll to 500$ and moved to 7s yesterday. Games are a bit more aggressive and I need to watch what I do but they still seem good and we will see in the next few 1000 hands how I do.

Ok, quick update. I managed to hit silverstar and it's been going quite well at the 7s.

I'm slowly starting to play more hands and starting to 3b wider. I'm 2 tabling at the moment and I could cut it down to 1 tabling but playing 2 tables seems to work better for me. Playing a match and getting cracked at the ends seems to get to me a lot more if I play 1 table whereas playing 2 tables I immediately just focus on the 2nd match and forget about the last beat.

And I started to make a lot of notes on villains, I write down anything suspicious/non standard stuff they do and color mark them so I can avoid some at lobbies although that's pretty hard at the 7s.

Sicily is over and overall I had a great time Weather was super good and everything went perfect. I rented a car and drove all over Sicily, so I got to see all of it Today I packed my bags, computer and moving to another apartment close to UNI. Got the schedule and it looks good, fridays are off and I think I will have about 4-7h of grind/study time per day. That's about it, uni starts the 8th and I'm hoping to play another 1.5k games by the 15th of october. If the roll is at 1k by than and EV ROI is good I will deposit extra 500$ to be able to grind the 15s. Still need to finish 2 sessions with Cog and after that grind a little and maybe buy more coaching in the future as it's definately worth the money.
