Very tilting day. I was a few BI shy from having the roll for a 500z shot then proceeded to lose every pot for 30 mins. My mental game needs sooo much work.
I recently find the Ax flush blocker is kinda of dumb because you only get people to fold non flush hands,
oh wait, maybe that's enough
He's folding all straights and potentially (unlikely) folding a low flush.. Should probably just rip it in expecting him to call like 2 combos

Don't really have any better bluff catchers OTR. His pre range is 15-20% and his river v.range is like 3% max. So if he follows through with bluffs (which I don't block) at some frequency I'm OK stationing down with this combo. Folding isn't my strongest suit tho
So January is going alright. Fairly swingy as per usual but I seem to be playing better recently. Running well in deep spots which is good

I'm going to need to make about 8.5k/month at the tables in order to meet my profit goals for 2015. I've also started to offer private coaching in addition to RIO content which will provide some extra $$$. Hopefully I can make well over $100k total in 2015
Wow thats cool!! I was just studying your second 6max zoom video last weekend. Using the tips on reading ranges and betting lines for 6max reg tables mostly though. I have only played zoom (fast on ipoker) for about 5k hands and have really gotten destroyed so far. Its soooo nitty I find. Do you still find it profitable ishter? I have been sticking with reg tables for now. Def until I am more solid in my betting lines and range reading.
I think I might be a little pasive for zoom atm. I am aggressive preflop but my overall agression is like 1.6. on reg tables I get a lot of loose fish trying to bluff and I have been profitable calling them down with speculative hands so far. This approach doesn't not work for me in zoom that's for sure.
If you wouldn't mind Ishter can you comment on why you said you don't think poker will be a long term viable option for you? Your making serious money now and it hasnt taken you long to get there it seems. From what it looks like you could have a great future in poker. Venture into other forms of the game also if you want. Invest some of your cash etc. and you could be in a pretty cushy spot quickly.

This is like game changing for me. Never would have thought of this hand in this way. When you make a play like this how certain (maybe in %) are you that they are not a calling station? Trying to think of the combos of hands he folds vs. combos of hands he calls w/ in his current range.... Sets and overpairs? two pairs and straights. I guess that is a lot of folds. You never expect to win when called here though right?
It is, who else grinds so many hands at 50nl before he moves up
HEY!!! took me a while before I was able to crush 50z

Hello
I always 4 table zoom, no mixing stakes. AA hand (bluff on 4 straight board) - I wouldn't attempt this without reads that villain is able to fold. For example, a combination of low WTSD, high fold to cb/river bet and high fold vs raise would make me more inclined to bluff here. Exploitatively speaking I think my sizing is excessively large if I'm targeting his straights (as they will fold vs a smaller sizing) and too small to fold weak flushes probably.. That said, he tanked for ages before folding so we'll never know what he had. But he certainly folded a better hand and I'm 100% never winning when called obviously.
And I'm not overly thrilled about the future/viability of online poker (for me anyway) due to the current state/trend of games, regulatory/political barriers (inc. potential taxation) and the problems it creates with regards to future employment. I hope I addressed everything!
****ty day/week.. Brutal distribution and terrible board runouts but what can you do I can honestly say that I've played fairly well though which is one upside. I'll be taking tomorrow off and hopefully start winning again over the weekend. GL everyone!
